| ☞시55:1 | 악장을 따라 느기놋에 맞춘 마스킬, 다윗의 시오 하나님이여, 나의 기도에 귀를 기울이시고, 나의 간구로부터 자신을 숨기지 마소서. Give ear to my prayer, O God; and hide not thyself from my supplication. | |||
| ☞시55:2 | 내게 주의를 기울이시고 내 말을 들으소서. 내가 슬픔으로 편치 못하여 탄식하오니 Attend unto me, and hear me： I mourn in my complaint, and make a noise; | |||
| ☞시55:3 | 이는 원수의 음성과 악인의 압제 때문이니이다. 그들이 내게 죄악을 던지며, 진노로 나를 미워하나이다. Because of the voice of the enemy, because of the oppression of the wicked： for they cast iniquity upon me, and in wrath they hate me. | |||
| ☞시55:4 | 내 마음이 내 안에서 심히 아파하며, 사망의 공포가 내 위에 떨어졌나이다. My heart is sore pained within me： and the terrors of death are fallen upon me. | |||
| ☞시55:5 | 두려움과 떨림이 내게 임하였고 공포가 나를 덮었나이다. Fearfulness and trembling are come upon me, and horror hath overwhelmed me. | |||
| ☞시55:6 | 내가 말하기를 "내게 비둘기처럼 날개가 있다면! 그러면 내가 멀리 날아가 안식하리라. And I said, Oh that I had wings like a dove! for then would I fly away, and be at rest. | |||
| ☞시55:7 | 보라, 그러면 내가 멀리 달아나 광야에서 거하리라. 셀라. Lo, then would I wander far off, and remain in the wilderness. Selah. | |||
| ☞시55:8 | 내가 폭풍과 광풍에서 빨리 피하리라." 하였나이다. I would hasten my escape from the windy storm and tempest. | |||
| ☞시55:9 | 오 주여, 멸하시고 그들의 혀들을 가르소서. 이는 내가 성 안에서 폭력과 분쟁을 보았음이니이다. Destroy, O Lord, and divide their tongues： for I have seen violence and strife in the city. | |||
| ☞시55:10 | 그들이 밤낮으로 성벽 위를 돌아다니니, 그 성 가운데 재난과 슬픔이 있나이다. Day and night they go about it upon the walls thereof： mischief also and sorrow are in the midst of it. | |||
| ☞시55:11 | 사악이 그 가운데 있으며, 기만과 간계가 그 거리에서 떠나지 아니하나이다. Wickedness is in the midst thereof： deceit and guile depart not from her streets. | |||
| ☞시55:12 | 나를 비난하는 자는 원수가 아니었으니, 그랬더라면 내가 참을 수 있었으리라. 나를 대적하여 자신을 높인 자는 나를 미워하던 자가 아니었으니, 그랬더라면 내가 그를 피하여 숨었으리라. For it was not an enemy that reproached me; then I could have borne it： neither was it he that hated me that did magnify himself against me; then I would have hid myself from him： | |||
| ☞시55:13 | 그러나 그는 바로 너로다. 나와 같은 사람이요, 나의 안내자요, 나의 벗이로다. But it was thou, a man mine equal, my guide, and mine acquaintance. | |||
| ☞시55:14 | 우리가 함께 다정하게 의논하였으며 하나님의 집에서 사람들과 함께 다녔도다. We took sweet counsel together, and walked unto the house of God in company. | |||
| ☞시55:15 | 사망으로 그들을 덮치게 하고, 그들을 급히 지옥으로 내려가게 할지라. 이는 사악함이 그들의 처소에, 또 그들 가운데 있음이라. Let death seize upon them, and let them go down quick into hell： for wickedness is in their dwellings, and among them. | |||
| ☞시55:16 | 나로 말하면, 나는 하나님을 부르리니 그리하면 주께서 나를 구원하시리라. As for me, I will call upon God; and the LORD shall save me. | |||
| ☞시55:17 | 저녁과 아침과 정오에 내가 기도하며 큰 소리로 부르짖으리니, 그리하면 그가 내 음성을 들으시리라. Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud： and he shall hear my voice. | |||
| ☞시55:18 | 그는 나를 대적하는 전쟁으로부터 평안 가운데 내 혼을 구해 내셨으니, 이는 나와 함께한 자가 많았음이라. He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me： for there were many with me. | |||
| ☞시55:19 | 하나님께서 들으시고 그들에게 고통을 주시리니, 그는 옛부터 계신 분이시라. 셀라. 그들에게는 변화가 없으므로 그들이 하나님을 두려워하지 아니하는도다. God shall hear, and afflict them, even he that abideth of old. Selah. Because they have no changes, therefore they fear not God. | |||
| ☞시55:20 | 그는 자기 손을 뻗쳐 자기와 화목한 자를 대항하고 그의 언약을 파기하였도다. He hath put forth his hands against such as be at peace with him： he hath broken his covenant. | |||
| ☞시55:21 | 그의 입의 말은 버터보다도 매끄러웠으나, 그의 마음 속에는 전쟁이 있었도다. 그의 말들은 기름보다도 부드러웠으나, 그것들은 뽑힌 칼이었도다. The words of his mouth were smoother than butter, but war was in his heart： his words were softer than oil, yet were they drawn swords. | |||
| ☞시55:22 | 너의 짐을 주께 맡기라. 그리하면 그가 너를 붙드시고, 의인이 흔들리는 것을 결코 허락하지 아니하시리라. Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee： he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. | |||
| ☞시55:23 | 그러나, 오 하나님이여, 주께서 그들을 멸망의 구덩이로 데려가시리니, 피 흘리기를 좋아하고 속이는 자들은 그들의 날의 절반도 살지 못하리이다. 그러나 나는 주를 신뢰하리이다. But thou, O God, shalt bring them down into the pit of destruction： bloody and deceitful men shall not live out half their days; but I will trust in thee. | |||
