| ☞시44:1 | 악장을 따라 부른 코라의 아들들을 위한 마스킬오 하나님이여, 옛날 곧 우리 조상들의 날에 주께서 행하신 일을 우리 조상들이 우리에게 일러 주기에 우리가 우리 귀로 들었으니 We have heard with our ears, O God, our fathers have told us, what work thou didst in their days, in the times of old. | |||
| ☞시44:2 | 즉 주께서 어떻게 주의 손으로 이방을 내어 쫓으시고 우리 조상들을 심으셨으며, 주께서 어떻게 그 백성을 괴롭게 하시어 그들을 쫓아내셨는가 하는 것이니이다. How thou didst drive out the heathen with thy hand, and plantedst them; how thou didst afflict the people, and cast them out. | |||
| ☞시44:3 | 그들이 자기들의 칼로 땅을 얻어 소유함이 아니요, 그들의 팔이 그들을 구원함도 아니라, 주의 오른손과 주의 팔과 주의 얼굴의 빛으로 된 것이니, 이는 주께서 그들에게 은총을 베푸셨기 때문이니이다. For they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them： but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them. | |||
| ☞시44:4 | 오 하나님이여, 주는 나의 왕이시니, 야곱을 위하여 구원을 베푸소서. Thou art my King, O God： command deliverances for Jacob. | |||
| ☞시44:5 | 우리가 주를 통하여 우리 원수들을 누르고, 주의 이름을 통하여 우리를 대적하여 일어나는 자들을 밟으리이다. Through thee will we push down our enemies： through thy name will we tread them under that rise up against us. | |||
| ☞시44:6 | 이는 내가 내 활을 의지하지 않을 것이요, 내 칼도 나를 구원하지 못할 것이기 때문이니이다. For I will not trust in my bow, neither shall my sword save me. | |||
| ☞시44:7 | 그러나 주께서는 우리 원수들로부터 우리를 구원하셨고, 우리를 미워하는 자들로 수치를 당하게 하셨나이다. But thou hast saved us from our enemies, and hast put them to shame that hated us. | |||
| ☞시44:8 | 우리가 온종일 하나님을 자랑하며, 주의 이름을 영원히 찬양하나이다. 셀라. In God we boast all the day long, and praise thy name for ever. Selah. | |||
| ☞시44:9 | 그러나 주께서 우리를 버리셨고 수치를 당하게 하셨으며, 우리의 군대들과 함께 진군하지 아니하시나이다. But thou hast cast off, and put us to shame; and goest not forth with our armies. | |||
| ☞시44:10 | 주께서 우리를 원수에게서 돌아서게 하시니, 우리를 미워하는 자들이 자기들 멋대로 약탈하나이다. Thou makest us to turn back from the enemy： and they which hate us spoil for themselves. | |||
| ☞시44:11 | 주께서 우리를 잡아먹힐 양처럼 내어주셨고 이방 가운데 우리를 흩으셨나이다. Thou hast given us like sheep appointed for meat; and hast scattered us among the heathen. | |||
| ☞시44:12 | 주께서는 주의 백성을 무료로 파시고, 그들의 값으로 주의 부유함을 늘리지 않으시나이다. Thou sellest thy people for nought, and dost not increase thy wealth by their price. | |||
| ☞시44:13 | 주께서 우리를 우리의 이웃들에게 비방거리로 만드시며, 우리 주위에 있는 자들에게 조소와 조롱거리가 되게 하셨나이다. Thou makest us a reproach to our neighbours, a scorn and a derision to them that are round about us. | |||
| ☞시44:14 | 주께서 우리로 이방 가운데서 이야깃거리가 되게 하시며, 백성 가운데서 머리를 내저음이 되게 하시나이다. Thou makest us a byword among the heathen, a shaking of the head among the people. | |||
| ☞시44:15 | 내 능욕이 계속해서 내 앞에 있으며 내 얼굴의 수치가 나를 덮었으니 My confusion is continually before me, and the shame of my face hath covered me, | |||
| ☞시44:16 | 이는 비방하고 모독하는 자의 음성 때문이요, 원수와 보복하는 자의 연고니이다. For the voice of him that reproacheth and blasphemeth; by reason of the enemy and avenger. | |||
| ☞시44:17 | 이 모든 일이 우리에게 임하였으나, 우리가 여전히 주를 잊지 아니하였으며 주의 언약을 거짓되이 대하지 아니하였나이다. All this is come upon us; yet have we not forgotten thee, neither have we dealt falsely in thy covenant. | |||
| ☞시44:18 | 우리의 마음이 돌아서지 아니하였으며 우리의 발걸음도 주의 길에서 벗어나지 아니하였나이다. Our heart is not turned back, neither have our steps declined from thy way; | |||
| ☞시44:19 | 그러나 주께서는 용들의 처소에서 우리에게 심한 상처를 내시고 죽음의 그림자로 우리를 덮으셨나이다. Though thou hast sore broken us in the place of dragons, and covered us with the shadow of death. | |||
| ☞시44:20 | 만일 우리가 우리 하나님의 이름을 잊어버렸거나 이방신에게 우리의 손을 뻗쳤더라면 If we have forgotten the name of our God, or stretched out our hands to a strange god; | |||
| ☞시44:21 | 하나님께서 이 일을 찾아내지 아니하시겠나이까? 이는 주께서 마음의 비밀들을 아시기 때문이니이다. Shall not God search this out? for he knoweth the secrets of the heart. | |||
| ☞시44:22 | 정녕, 우리가 주를 위하여 온종일 죽임을 당하였으며, 도살당할 양으로 여겨졌나이다. Yea, for thy sake are we killed all the day long; we are counted as sheep for the slaughter. | |||
| ☞시44:23 | 오 주여, 깨소서. 어찌하여 주무시나이까? 일어나소서. 우리를 영원히 버리지 마소서. Awake, why sleepest thou, O Lord? arise, cast us not off for ever. | |||
| ☞시44:24 | 어찌하여 주의 얼굴을 가리시며 우리의 고난과 압제를 잊으시나이까? Wherefore hidest thou thy face, and forgettest our affliction and our oppression? | |||
| ☞시44:25 | 우리의 혼은 진토에 구부러졌고 우리의 배는 땅에 붙었나이다. For our soul is bowed down to the dust： our belly cleaveth unto the earth. | |||
| ☞시44:26 | 일어나 우리를 도우소서. 주의 자비하심으로 우리를 구속하소서. Arise for our help, and redeem us for thy mercies' sake. | |||
