| ☞시37:1 | 다윗의 시행악자로 인하여 초조해 하지 말며 죄악을 행하는 자들을 부러워하지 말라. Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. | |||
| ☞시37:2 | 이는 그들이 풀같이 곧 베어질 것이며 푸른 나물같이 말라질 것임이라. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. | |||
| ☞시37:3 | 주를 신뢰하고 선을 행하라. 그리하면 네가 땅에 거할 것이요, 진실로 그가 너를 먹이시리라. Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. | |||
| ☞시37:4 | 또 주를 기뻐하라. 그리하면 그가 네 마음의 소원들을 네게 주시리라. Delight thyself also in the LORD： and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. | |||
| ☞시37:5 | 너의 길을 주께 맡기고, 또 그를 신뢰하라. 그리하면 그가 이루어 주시리라. Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. | |||
| ☞시37:6 | 그가 네 의를 빛같이 가져오시며 네 공의를 대낮같이 가져오시리라. And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday. | |||
| ☞시37:7 | 주 안에서 쉬고, 인내하며 그를 기다리라. 자기 길에서 번영하는 사람, 곧 악한 계책을 성사시키는 사람으로 인하여 초조해 하지 말라. Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him： fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. | |||
| ☞시37:8 | 화를 그치고 노여움을 버리라. 결코 악을 행치 말라. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath： fret not thyself in any wise to do evil. | |||
| ☞시37:9 | 행악자는 끊어질 것이나, 주를 기다리는 자들은 땅을 유업으로 받으리라. For evildoers shall be cut off： but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth. | |||
| ☞시37:10 | 잠시 후면 악인이 없어지리니, 정녕, 네가 그가 있던 곳을 열심히 찾을지라도 그가 없을 것이라. For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be： yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be. | |||
| ☞시37:11 | 그러나 온유한 자들은 땅을 유업으로 받을 것이요, 화평의 풍요함으로 기뻐하리로다. But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. | |||
| ☞시37:12 | 악인은 의인을 대적하여 음모를 꾸미며 그를 향해 이를 가는도다. The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth. | |||
| ☞시37:13 | 주께서 그를 비웃으시리니, 이는 주께서 그의 날이 오는 것을 보심이라. The LORD shall laugh at him： for he seeth that his day is coming. | |||
| ☞시37:14 | 악인들은 칼을 빼고 활을 당기어 가난하고 궁핍한 자들을 쓰러뜨리고 정직하게 행하는 자를 죽이려 하나 The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation. | |||
| ☞시37:15 | 그들의 칼은 자신들의 심장을 찌를 것이요, 그들의 화살들은 부러지리로다. Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken. | |||
| ☞시37:16 | 한 사람의 의인이 가진 적은 것이 많은 악인들의 부보다 더 낫나니 A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked. | |||
| ☞시37:17 | 이는 악인의 팔들은 부러질 것이나 의인은 주께서 붙드심이라. For the arms of the wicked shall be broken： but the LORD upholdeth the righteous. | |||
| ☞시37:18 | 주께서는 정직한 자의 날들을 아시나니, 그들의 유업이 영원하리로다. The LORD knoweth the days of the upright： and their inheritance shall be for ever. | |||
| ☞시37:19 | 그들은 재앙의 때에 수치를 당하지 않을 것이며 기근의 날에 배부르리라. They shall not be ashamed in the evil time： and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied. | |||
| ☞시37:20 | 그러나 악인은 멸망하고 주의 원수들은 어린 양들의 기름같이 되리니, 그들이 타서 연기 속으로 사라지리라. But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs： they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away. | |||
| ☞시37:21 | 악인은 빌리고 다시 갚지 아니하나, 의인은 자비를 베풀고 또 주는도다. The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again： but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth. | |||
| ☞시37:22 | 그로부터 복을 받는 자는 땅을 유업으로 받을 것이요, 그로부터 저주를 받는 자들은 끊어지리로다. For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off. | |||
| ☞시37:23 | 선한 사람의 걸음은 주께서 정하시니, 주께서 그의 길을 기뻐하시느니라. The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD： and he delighteth in his way. | |||
| ☞시37:24 | 그가 넘어져도 완전히 쓰러지지 아니함은 주께서 그의 손으로 그를 붙드심이라. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down： for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand. | |||
| ☞시37:25 | 내가 어려서부터 지금 늙기까지 의인이 버림받거나 그의 씨가 걸식함을 아직 보지 못하였도다. I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. | |||
| ☞시37:26 | 그가 항상 자비로우며 꾸어 주나니, 그의 씨가 복을 받는도다. He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed. | |||
| ☞시37:27 | 악에서 떠나고 선을 행하라. 그리하면 영영히 거하리라. Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore. | |||
| ☞시37:28 | 주께서는 공의를 사랑하시고 그의 성도들을 버리지 아니하시나니, 그들은 영원히 보호를 받으나 악인의 씨는 끊어지리로다. For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever： but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off. | |||
| ☞시37:29 | 의인은 땅을 유업으로 받을 것이며 거기서 영원히 거하리라. The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever. | |||
| ☞시37:30 | 의인의 입은 지혜를 말하고 그의 혀는 심판을 말하는도다. The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment. | |||
| ☞시37:31 | 그의 마음에는 그의 하나님의 법이 있으니, 그의 걸음에 실족함이 없으리로다. The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide. | |||
| ☞시37:32 | 악인이 의인을 살피고 그를 죽이기를 구하나 The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to slay him. | |||
| ☞시37:33 | 주께서는 그를 악인의 손에 버려 두지 아니하시며, 그가 심판받을 때에 그를 정죄하지 아니하시리라. The LORD will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged. | |||
| ☞시37:34 | 주를 기다리고 그의 길을 지키라. 그리하면 그가 너를 높여 땅을 유업으로 받게 하시리라. 그때 악인은 끊어지리니, 네가 그것을 보리라. Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land： when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it. | |||
| ☞시37:35 | 내가 큰 세력을 가진 악인을 보았더니, 푸른 월계수같이 뻗어 나갔으나 I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree. | |||
| ☞시37:36 | 그가 사라져 버렸으니, 보라, 그가 없어졌도다. 정녕, 내가 그를 찾았으나 찾을 수 없었도다. Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not： yea, I sought him, but he could not be found. | |||
| ☞시37:37 | 온전한 사람을 살펴보고 정직한 자를 볼지어다. 그 사람의 마지막은 화평이니라. Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright： for the end of that man is peace. | |||
| ☞시37:38 | 그러나 범법자들은 함께 멸망하리니, 악인의 마지막은 끊어지리로다. But the transgressors shall be destroyed together： the end of the wicked shall be cut off. | |||
| ☞시37:39 | 그러나 의인들의 구원은 주께 있으니, 그는 고난의 때에 그들의 힘이시라. But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD： he is their strength in the time of trouble. | |||
| ☞시37:40 | 주께서 그들을 도우시고 그들을 구하시리라. 그가 그들을 악인으로부터 구해 내시며 그들을 구원하시리니, 이는 그들이 주를 신뢰하기 때문이라. And the LORD shall help them, and deliver them： he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him. | |||
