| ☞시18:1 | 악장을 따라 부른 주의 종 다윗의 시, 주께서 다윗을 그 모든 원수의 손과 사울의 손에서 구하신 날에 다윗이 이 노랫말로 주께 말씀드리기를오 나의 힘이신 주여, 내가 주를 사랑하나이다. I will love thee, O LORD, my strength. | |||
| ☞시18:2 | 주는 나의 반석이시며 나의 요새시요 나의 구원자시라, 나의 하나님이시며 내가 의뢰하는 나의 힘이시요, 나의 방패시며 나의 구원의 뿔이시며 나의 높은 망대시니이다. The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. | |||
| ☞시18:3 | 내가 찬양받기에 합당하신 주께 아뢰리니, 내가 나의 원수들로부터 그렇게 구원을 받으리이다. I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised： so shall I be saved from mine enemies. | |||
| ☞시18:4 | 사망의 고통이 나를 에워싸고 악인들의 홍수가 나를 무서워하게 하였나이다. The sorrows of death compassed me, and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid. | |||
| ☞시18:5 | 지옥의 고통이 나를 에워싸고 사망의 덫이 나를 막았나이다. The sorrows of hell compassed me about： the snares of death prevented me. | |||
| ☞시18:6 | 내가 재난 가운데서 주를 부르고 나의 하나님께 부르짖었더니 그가 그의 성전에서 내 음성을 들으셨으며 나의 부르짖음이 그의 앞에 이르러 그의 귓가에 들렸도다. In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God： he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears. | |||
| ☞시18:7 | 그때 땅이 흔들리고 진동하였으며 산의 기초도 움직이고 흔들렸으니, 이는 그가 진노하셨음이라. Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations also of the hills moved and were shaken, because he was wroth. | |||
| ☞시18:8 | 그의 콧구멍에서 연기가 솟아오르고 그의 입에서는 불이 나와 삼켰으며 그 불로 숯이 피었도다. There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured： coals were kindled by it. | |||
| ☞시18:9 | 그가 하늘들을 떠나 내려오시니 그의 발 아래에는 어둠이 있도다. He bowed the heavens also, and came down： and darkness was under his feet. | |||
| ☞시18:10 | 그가 그룹을 타고 날으셨으니, 정녕, 그가 바람 날개를 타고 날으셨도다. And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly： yea, he did fly upon the wings of the wind. | |||
| ☞시18:11 | 그가 어둠으로 그의 비밀 처소를 만드셨으니, 그를 두른 장막은 검은 물과 하늘의 짙은 구름이었도다. He made darkness his secret place; his pavilion round about him were dark waters and thick clouds of the skies. | |||
| ☞시18:12 | 그의 앞에 있는 광채에서 그의 짙은 구름이 지나가니 우박과 숯불덩이가 내렸도다. At the brightness that was before him his thick clouds passed, hail stones and coals of fire. | |||
| ☞시18:13 | 주께서 또한 하늘들에서 천둥을 발하시고 가장 높으신 분이 음성을 내시니 우박과 숯불덩이가 내렸도다. The LORD also thundered in the heavens, and the Highest gave his voice; hail stones and coals of fire. | |||
| ☞시18:14 | 정녕, 그가 그의 화살들을 날려 보내어 그들을 흩으시고 많은 번개를 쏘아서 그들을 패주시켰도다. Yea, he sent out his arrows, and scattered them; and he shot out lightnings, and discomfited them. | |||
| ☞시18:15 | 그때에, 오 주여, 주의 책망과 내쉬는 콧김에 물 밑이 보였고 세상의 기초들이 드러났나이다. Then the channels of waters were seen, and the foundations of the world were discovered at thy rebuke, O LORD, at the blast of the breath of thy nostrils. | |||
| ☞시18:16 | 그가 위에서 보내시고 나를 취하시어 많은 물에서 나를 건져 내셨도다. He sent from above, he took me, he drew me out of many waters. | |||
| ☞시18:17 | 그는 나의 강한 원수와 나를 미워하는 자들에게서 나를 구원하셨으니, 이는 그들이 내게 너무 강하였기 때문이라. He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them which hated me： for they were too strong for me. | |||
| ☞시18:18 | 그들이 나의 재앙의 날에 나를 막았으나 주께서 나의 후원자가 되셨도다. They prevented me in the day of my calamity： but the LORD was my stay. | |||
| ☞시18:19 | 그가 또 나를 넓은 곳으로 데리고 나오시고 나를 구하셨으니, 이는 그가 나를 기뻐하셨음이라. He brought me forth also into a large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me. | |||
| ☞시18:20 | 주께서 내 의를 따라 내게 상 주시며 내 손의 정결함을 따라 내게 갚으셨으니 The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me. | |||
| ☞시18:21 | 이는 내가 주의 길을 지켰고 내 하나님께로부터 악하게 떠나지 아니하였으며 For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God. | |||
| ☞시18:22 | 그의 모든 판결이 내 앞에 있었고 내게서 그의 규례들을 치워 버리지 않았음이라. For all his judgments were before me, and I did not put away his statutes from me. | |||
| ☞시18:23 | 내가 또 그 분 앞에서 올바르며 내 죄악으로부터 나를 지켰나니 I was also upright before him, and I kept myself from mine iniquity. | |||
| ☞시18:24 | 그러므로 주께서는 내 의를 따라, 그의 목전에서 내 손의 정결함을 따라 내게 갚으셨도다. Therefore hath the LORD recompensed me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his eyesight. | |||
| ☞시18:25 | 주께서 자비로운 자에게는 주의 자비하심으로 나타내시고, 정직한 자에게는 주의 정직하심으로 나타내시며, With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful; with an upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright; | |||
| ☞시18:26 | 순결한 자에게는 주의 순결함으로 나타내시고, 완고한 자에게는 주의 완고하심으로 나타내시나니 With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself froward. | |||
| ☞시18:27 | 이는 주께서 고난받는 백성들은 구원하시나 교만한 눈은 낮추심이니이다. For thou wilt save the afflicted people; but wilt bring down high looks. | |||
| ☞시18:28 | 이는 주께서 나의 촛불을 켜시고 주 나의 하나님께서 내 어두움을 밝히실 것임이니이다. For thou wilt light my candle： the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness. | |||
| ☞시18:29 | 이는 내가 주를 의지하고 군대 속을 통과해 달렸으며 내 하나님을 의지하고 성벽을 뛰어 넘었음이니이다. For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall. | |||
| ☞시18:30 | 하나님으로 말하면, 그의 길은 완전하며 주의 말씀은 단련되었으니, 그는 자기를 신뢰하는 모든 자들에게 방패가 되시는도다. As for God, his way is perfect： the word of the LORD is tried： he is a buckler to all those that trust in him. | |||
| ☞시18:31 | 주 외에 누가 하나님이며, 우리 하나님 외에 누가 반석이랴? For who is God save the LORD? or who is a rock save our God? | |||
| ☞시18:32 | 힘으로 내게 띠를 두루시며 나의 길을 완전케 하시는 분은 하나님이시라. It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect. | |||
| ☞시18:33 | 그는 나의 발을 암사슴의 발 같게 하시며 나를 나의 높은 곳에 세우시는도다. He maketh my feet like hinds' feet, and setteth me upon my high places. | |||
| ☞시18:34 | 그가 내 손을 가르치시어 전쟁에 임하게 하시니, 내 팔이 철 활을 부러뜨리는도다. He teacheth my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms. | |||
| ☞시18:35 | 주께서 또 나에게 주의 구원의 방패를 주셨으며 주의 오른손이 나를 붙들어 주셨고 주의 온유하심이 나를 위대하게 하셨나이다. Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation： and thy right hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great. | |||
| ☞시18:36 | 주께서 내 아래 내 길을 넓히심으로 내 발이 미끄러지지 않았나이다. Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, that my feet did not slip. | |||
| ☞시18:37 | 내가 내 원수들을 추격하여 그들을 죽였으니 그들이 진멸되기 전에는 내가 돌아서지 아니하였나이다. I have pursued mine enemies, and overtaken them： neither did I turn again till they were consumed. | |||
| ☞시18:38 | 내가 그들에게 상처를 입힘으로 그들이 일어날 수 없었으니, 그들이 내 발 아래 쓰러졌나이다. I have wounded them that they were not able to rise： they are fallen under my feet. | |||
| ☞시18:39 | 이는 주께서 전쟁에 임하게 하시려고 힘으로 내게 띠를 둘러 주셨음이니, 주께서 나를 대적하여 일어나는 자들을 내 아래 굴복시키셨나이다. For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle： thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me. | |||
| ☞시18:40 | 주께서 또 내 원수들의 목을 내게 주셨으니 이는 나로 하여금 나를 미워하는 그들을 멸망시키려 하심이니이다. Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies; that I might destroy them that hate me. | |||
| ☞시18:41 | 그들이 부르짖으나 아무도 구원할 자가 없었고 심지어 주께 부르짖어도 그가 그들에게 응답하지 아니하셨도다. They cried, but there was none to save them： even unto the LORD, but he answered them not. | |||
| ☞시18:42 | 내가 그들을 바람 앞의 먼지처럼 잘게 부서뜨렸으니, 내가 그들을 거리의 흙처럼 버렸나이다. Then did I beat them small as the dust before the wind： I did cast them out as the dirt in the streets. | |||
| ☞시18:43 | 주께서 나를 백성들의 다툼에서 구해 내셨고, 주께서 나를 이방의 머리로 삼으셨으니, 내가 알지 못하던 백성이 나를 섬기리이다. Thou hast delivered me from the strivings of the people; and thou hast made me the head of the heathen： a people whom I have not known shall serve me. | |||
| ☞시18:44 | 그들이 나에 관하여 듣고 곧 내게 순종하리니 타국인들이 내게 복종하리이다. As soon as they hear of me, they shall obey me： the strangers shall submit themselves unto me. | |||
| ☞시18:45 | 타국인들이 쇠퇴할 것이요, 그 숨은 곳에서 무서워하며 나오리라. The strangers shall fade away, and be afraid out of their close places. | |||
| ☞시18:46 | 주께서 살아 계시니 나의 반석을 송축하라. 나의 구원의 하나님을 높일지라. The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted. | |||
| ☞시18:47 | 나의 원수를 갚아 주시며 백성들을 내 아래 복종케 하시는 분은 하나님이시라. It is God that avengeth me, and subdueth the people under me. | |||
| ☞시18:48 | 그가 나를 내 원수들로부터 구하시나니, 정녕, 주께서 나를 대적하여 일어서는 자들 위에 나를 높이 드시고, 주께서 난폭한 자로부터 나를 구해 내셨나이다. He delivereth me from mine enemies： yea, thou liftest me up above those that rise up against me： thou hast delivered me from the violent man. | |||
| ☞시18:49 | 그러므로 오 주여, 내가 이방 중에서 주께 감사드리며 주의 이름을 찬송하리이다. Therefore will I give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and sing praises unto thy name. | |||
| ☞시18:50 | 그가 그의 왕에게 큰 구원을 주시며, 그의 기름 부음 받은 이와 다윗과 그의 씨에게 영원 무궁토록 자비를 베푸시는도다. Great deliverance giveth he to his king; and sheweth mercy to his anointed, to David, and to his seed for evermore. | |||
