■ 시편[Psalms]2장(시2)

어찌하여 이방이 분노하며 백성들이 헛된 것을 꾀하는가?

Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

땅의 왕들이 나서고 치리자들이 서로 의논하여 주와 그의 기름 부음 받은 이를 대적하여 말하기를

The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,

"우리가 그들의 결박을 끊고 그들의 멍에를 벗어 버리자." 하는도다.

Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

하늘들에 앉으신 분이 웃으실 것이요, 주께서 그들을 조롱하시리로다.

He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh： the LORD shall have them in derision.

그때 그가 진노 가운데 말씀하시고, 심히 불쾌하여 그들에게 화내시기를

Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.

"내가 나의 거룩한 산 시온 위에 내 왕을 세웠도다." 하시리라.

Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.

내가 칙령을 선포하리라. 주께서 내게 말씀하시기를 "너는 내 아들이라. 오늘 내가 너를 낳았노라.

I will declare the decree： the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.

내게 구하라. 그러면 내가 너에게 이방을 네 유업으로, 땅끝을 네 소유로 주리라.

Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

네가 그들을 철장으로 깨뜨릴 것이며 토기장이의 질그릇같이 부수리라." 하셨도다.

Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.

그러므로, 오 너희 왕들아, 이제 현명해지라. 너희 땅의 재판관들아, 교훈을 받을지어다.

Be wise now therefore, O ye kings： be instructed, ye judges of the earth.

두려움으로 주를 섬기고 떨림으로 즐거워하라.

Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

그 아들에게 입맞추라. 그렇지 않으면 그가 노하실 것이요, 그가 조금만 격분하셔도 너희가 그 길에서 망하리라. 그를 신뢰하는 모든 사람은 복이 있도다.

Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.
