| ☞렘5:1 | 너희는 예루살렘의 거리를 여기저기 달려서, 이제 보고, 알며, 거기 넓은 곳에서 찾으라. 만일 너희가 한 사람이라도 찾을 수 있다면, 공의를 행하고 진리를 구하는 누군가가 있다면, 내가 그 성읍을 용서하리라. Run ye to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem, and see now, and know, and seek in the broad places thereof, if ye can find a man, if there be any that executeth judgment, that seeketh the truth; and I will pardon it. | |||
| ☞렘5:2 | 그들이 말하기를 "주께서 살아계시거니와" 할지라도, 진실로 그들은 거짓되이 맹세하는도다. And though they say, The LORD liveth; surely they swear falsely. | |||
| ☞렘5:3 | 오 주여, 주의 눈이 진실에 있지 않나이까? 주께서 그들을 치셨을지라도 그들이 슬퍼하지 아니하였으며, 주께서 그들을 소멸시켰을지라도 그들이 바로잡히기를 거부했나이다. 그들은 그들의 얼굴들을 바위보다도 더 굳게하여 돌아오기를 거부했나이다. O LORD, are not thine eyes upon the truth? thou hast stricken them, but they have not grieved; thou hast consumed them, but they have refused to receive correction： they have made their faces harder than a rock; they have refused to return. | |||
| ☞렘5:4 | 그러므로 내가 말하기를 "이들은 분명히 비천하고 그들은 어리석나니 이는 그들이 주의 길도, 자기 하나님의 심판도 알지 못함이라." 하였느니라. Therefore I said, Surely these are poor; they are foolish： for they know not the way of the LORD, nor the judgment of their God. | |||
| ☞렘5:5 | 내가 위대한 사람들에게 가서 그들에게 말하리니, 이는 그들이 주의 길과 자기 하나님의 심판을 알았음이라. 그러나 이들도 다같이 그 멍에를 꺽고 그 결박들을 부수었도다. I will get me unto the great men, and will speak unto them; for they have known the way of the LORD, and the judgment of their God： but these have altogether broken the yoke, and burst the bonds. | |||
| ☞렘5:6 | 그러므로 숲에서 나오는 사자가 그들을 죽이며, 저녁의 이리가 그들을 해치며, 표범이 그들의 성읍들을 지켜보고 거기에서 나오는 자는 누구라도 갈기갈기 찢으리니, 이는 그들의 허물이 많고 그들의 타락이 증가하였음이라. Wherefore a lion out of the forest shall slay them, and a wolf of the evenings shall spoil them, a leopard shall watch over their cities： every one that goeth out thence shall be torn in pieces： because their transgressions are many, and their backslidings are increased. | |||
| ☞렘5:7 | 이러한데 내가 어찌 너를 용서할 수 있겠느냐? 네 자식들은 나를 버렸고 신들이 아닌 것들로 맹세하였도다. 내가 그들을 배불리 먹일 때 그들은 간음하고 창녀들의 집들에 떼지어 모였도다. How shall I pardon thee for this? thy children have forsaken me, and sworn by them that are no gods： when I had fed them to the full, they then committed adultery, and assembled themselves by troops in the harlots' houses. | |||
| ☞렘5:8 | 그들은 마치 아침에 잘 먹인 말들 같아서 각기 자기 이웃의 아내를 좇아 부르짖는도다. They were as fed horses in the morning： every one neighed after his neighbour's wife. | |||
| ☞렘5:9 | 주가 말하노라. 내가 이 일들을 감찰하지 아니하겠느냐? 내 마음이 이같은 민족에게 복수하지 아니하겠느냐? Shall I not visit for these things? saith the LORD： and shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this? | |||
| ☞렘5:10 | 너희는 그 성벽에 올라가서 파괴하라. 그러나 완전히 끝내지는 말고 그 담들을 제거하라. 이는 그것들이 주의 것들이 아님이라. Go ye up upon her walls, and destroy; but make not a full end： take away her battlements; for they are not the LORD's. | |||
| ☞렘5:11 | 이는 이스라엘의 집과 유다의 집이 나를 거역하여 심히 패역하게 행동하였음이라. 주가 말하노라. For the house of Israel and the house of Judah have dealt very treacherously against me, saith the LORD. | |||
| ☞렘5:12 | 그들이 주를 속여 말하기를 "그는 계시지 않나니, 재앙이 우리에게 임하지 아니할 것이요, 우리가 칼이나 기근도 보지 아니할 것이라. They have belied the LORD, and said, It is not he; neither shall evil come upon us; neither shall we see sword nor famine： | |||
| ☞렘5:13 | 선지자들은 바람이 되리니 말씀이 그들 안에 있지 않도다. 그 일이 그들에게 그렇게 이루어지리라." 하였도다. And the prophets shall become wind, and the word is not in them： thus shall it be done unto them. | |||
| ☞렘5:14 | 그러므로 만군의 주 하나님이 이같이 말하노라. 너희가 이 말을 하니, 보라, 내가 네 입에 있는 말들을 불로 만들고 이 백성을 나무로 만들리니, 그 불이 그들을 삼키리라. Wherefore thus saith the LORD God of hosts, Because ye speak this word, behold, I will make my words in thy mouth fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them. | |||
| ☞렘5:15 | 오 이스라엘의 집아, 주가 말하노라. 보라, 내가 먼 곳으로부터 한 민족을 너희에게로 불러오리라. 그 민족은 강한 민족이요 오래된 민족이니, 그 민족의 말을 너는 알지 못하며, 그들이 말하는 것을 네가 알아 듣지도 못하리라. Lo, I will bring a nation upon you from far, O house of Israel, saith the LORD： it is a mighty nation, it is an ancient nation, a nation whose language thou knowest not, neither understandest what they say. | |||
| ☞렘5:16 | 그들의 화살통은 열린 무덤과 같으며 그들은 모두 힘센 사람들이라. Their quiver is as an open sepulchre, they are all mighty men. | |||
| ☞렘5:17 | 그들이 네 아들들과 네 딸들이 먹을 네 수확과 네 빵을 먹어 치울 것이며 그들이 네 양떼와 네 소떼를 먹을 것이요, 그들은 네 포도나무들과 네 무화과나무들을 먹어 치울 것이라. 그들은 네가 신뢰하는 너의 견고한 성읍들을 칼로 황폐케 하리라. And they shall eat up thine harvest, and thy bread, which thy sons and thy daughters should eat： they shall eat up thy flocks and thine herds： they shall eat up thy vines and thy fig trees： they shall impoverish thy fenced cities, wherein thou trustedst, with the sword. | |||
| ☞렘5:18 | 그러나 그 때에도 내가 너희와 완전히 끝내지는 아니하리라. 주가 말하노라. Nevertheless in those days, saith the LORD, I will not make a full end with you. | |||
| ☞렘5:19 | 그때에 너희가 말하기를 "어찌하여 주 우리 하나님께서 이 모든 일들을 우리에게 행하시는가?" 하거든, 너는 그들에게 답변해 줄지니 "너희가 나를 버리고 너희 땅에서 다른 신들을 섬긴 것같이 너희가 너희 땅이 아닌 땅에서 타국인들을 섬기리라." 하라. And it shall come to pass, when ye shall say, Wherefore doeth the LORD our God all these things unto us? then shalt thou answer them, Like as ye have forsaken me, and served strange gods in your land, so shall ye serve strangers in a land that is not your's. | |||
| ☞렘5:20 | 이 말을 야곱의 집에 선포하고 유다에 그것을 공표하여 말하라. Declare this in the house of Jacob, and publish it in Judah, saying, | |||
| ☞렘5:21 | 눈이 있어도 보지 못하고 귀가 있어도 듣지 못하는, 오 어리석고 지각이 없는 백성이여, 이제 이 말을 들으라. Hear now this, O foolish people, and without understanding; which have eyes, and see not; which have ears, and hear not： | |||
| ☞렘5:22 | 너희가 나를 두려워하지 않느냐? 주가 말하노라. 모래를 바다의 경계로 두어 영원한 법령으로 삼아 그것을 넘지 못하게 하였으며, 거기에 파도가 출렁거려도 이기지 못하며, 파도가 포효해도 그것을 넘지 못하게 하는 내 앞에서 너희가 떨지 아니하느냐? Fear ye not me? saith the LORD： will ye not tremble at my presence, which have placed the sand for the bound of the sea by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass it： and though the waves thereof toss themselves, yet can they not prevail; though they roar, yet can they not pass over it? | |||
| ☞렘5:23 | 그러나 이 백성은 반항하며 거역하는 마음이 있기에 그들이 반항하고 갔느니라. But this people hath a revolting and a rebellious heart; they are revolted and gone. | |||
| ☞렘5:24 | 또한 그들은 그들의 마음 속에 "자기의 때에 맞춰 이른 비나 늦은 비를 주시며, 우리에게 추수의 정해진 주간을 보존해 두시는 주 우리 하나님을 이제 두려워하자."라고 말하지도 아니하느니라. Neither say they in their heart, Let us now fear the LORD our God, that giveth rain, both the former and the latter, in his season： he reserveth unto us the appointed weeks of the harvest. | |||
| ☞렘5:25 | 너희의 죄악이 이러한 일들을 쫓아버렸고, 너희의 죄들이 너희로부터 좋은 것들을 거두어 갔느니라. Your iniquities have turned away these things, and your sins have withholden good things from you. | |||
| ☞렘5:26 | 내 백성 가운데 악인들이 발견되었으니, 그들은 마치 올무를 놓는 사람들처럼 지켜 기다리며, 그들은 덫을 놓아 사람들을 잡는도다. For among my people are found wicked men： they lay wait, as he that setteth snares; they set a trap, they catch men. | |||
| ☞렘5:27 | 새장에 새들이 가득 참같이 그들의 집은 속임수로 가득 찼도다. 그러므로 그들은 커지고 부가 늘어나도다. As a cage is full of birds, so are their houses full of deceit： therefore they are become great, and waxen rich. | |||
| ☞렘5:28 | 그들은 살찌고 윤택하도다. 정녕, 그들은 악인의 행실들을 눈감아 주며, 그들은 송사, 곧 아비 없는 자들의 송사를 판단하지 아니하는데도 그들은 번영을 누리며, 또 그들은 궁핍한 사람들의 권익을 판단하지 아니하는도다. They are waxen fat, they shine： yea, they overpass the deeds of the wicked： they judge not the cause, the cause of the fatherless, yet they prosper; and the right of the needy do they not judge. | |||
| ☞렘5:29 | 주가 말하노라. 내가 이 일들을 감찰하지 아니하겠느냐? 내 마음이 이같은 민족에 복수하지 아니하겠느냐? Shall I not visit for these things? saith the LORD： shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this? | |||
| ☞렘5:30 | 경이롭고 무서운 일이 그 땅에서 행해지는도다. A wonderful and horrible thing is committed in the land; | |||
| ☞렘5:31 | 선지자들은 거짓되이 예언하고 제사장들은 그들의 권력으로 다스리며 내 백성은 그렇게 하는 것을 사랑하니, 그 마지막에는 너희가 어찌하려느냐? The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so： and what will ye do in the end thereof? | |||
