| ☞렘3:1 | 사람들이 말하기를, 만일 한 남자가 자기 아내를 버려서 그 여자가 그 사람을 떠나 다른 사람의 것이 되면, 본 남편이 그녀에게 다시 돌아오겠느냐? 그 땅이 크게 오염되지 않겠느냐? 그러나 너는 많은 애인들과 창녀짓을 하였어도 내게로 다시 돌아오라. 주가 말하노라. They say, If a man put away his wife, and she go from him, and become another man's, shall he return unto her again? shall not that land be greatly polluted? but thou hast played the harlot with many lovers; yet return again to me, saith the LORD. | |||
| ☞렘3:2 | 높은 곳을 향하여 네 눈을 들어 네가 함께 눕지 않은 곳이 있나 보라. 네가 광야에 있는 아라비아인처럼 길가에 앉아서 그들을 기다리는도다. 네가 네 음행과 네 사악함으로 그 땅을 오염시켰도다. Lift up thine eyes unto the high places, and see where thou hast not been lien with. In the ways hast thou sat for them, as the Arabian in the wilderness; and thou hast polluted the land with thy whoredoms and with thy wickedness. | |||
| ☞렘3:3 | 그러므로 소나기가 그쳤고 늦은 비도 없어졌도다. 네가 창녀의 이마를 가지고도 부끄러워 하기를 거부하는도다. Therefore the showers have been withholden, and there hath been no latter rain; and thou hadst a whore's forehead, thou refusedst to be ashamed. | |||
| ☞렘3:4 | 네가 지금부터 내게 부르짖기를 "내 아버지여, 아버지께서는 나의 젊을 때부터 인도자가 되었나이다." 하지 않겠느냐! Wilt thou not from this time cry unto me, My father, thou art the guide of my youth? | |||
| ☞렘3:5 | 그가 그의 분노를 영원히 보존하시겠느냐? 그가 그것을 끝까지 간직하시겠느냐? 보라, 너는 네가 할 수 있는 악한 것들을 말하고 행하였느니라. Will he reserve his anger for ever? will he keep it to the end? Behold, thou hast spoken and done evil things as thou couldest. | |||
| ☞렘3:6 | 요시야왕 때에 주께서 또 내게 말씀하시니라. 너는 타락한 이스라엘이 행한 것을 보았느냐? 그녀가 모든 높은 산에 올라, 모든 푸른 나무 아래로 가서 거기에서 창녀짓을 하였도다. The LORD said also unto me in the days of Josiah the king, Hast thou seen that which backsliding Israel hath done? she is gone up upon every high mountain and under every green tree, and there hath played the harlot. | |||
| ☞렘3:7 | 그녀가 이 모든 일들을 행한 뒤에 내가 말하기를 "내게로 돌아오라." 하였으나, 그녀가 돌아오지 않았고 그녀의 패역한 자매 유다가 그것을 보았도다. And I said after she had done all these things, Turn thou unto me. But she returned not. And her treacherous sister Judah saw it. | |||
| ☞렘3:8 | 모든 이유들로 인해 타락한 이스라엘이 간음했을 때 내가 그녀를 내어 쫓고 이혼 증서를 주었도다. 그러나 그녀의 패역한 자매 유다가 두려워 아니하고 가서 역시 창녀짓을 하는 것을 내가 보았도다. And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also. | |||
| ☞렘3:9 | 그녀는 자기의 창녀짓을 가볍게 여기고 그 땅을 더렵혔으며 돌들과 통나무들과 더불어 간음하였도다. And it came to pass through the lightness of her whoredom, that she defiled the land, and committed adultery with stones and with stocks. | |||
| ☞렘3:10 | 이 모든 일이 있었는데도 그녀의 패역한 자매 유다는 전심으로 내게 돌아오지 아니하고 거짓으로 돌아왔도다. 주가 말하노라. And yet for all this her treacherous sister Judah hath not turned unto me with her whole heart, but feignedly, saith the LORD. | |||
| ☞렘3:11 | 또 주께서 내게 말씀하시니라. 타락한 이스라엘이 패역한 유다보다 더 자신을 정당화시켰도다. And the LORD said unto me, The backsliding Israel hath justified herself more than treacherous Judah. | |||
| ☞렘3:12 | 가서, 이 말들을 북쪽을 향하여 선포하여 말하라. 너 타락한 이스라엘아, 돌아오라. 주가 말하노라. 내가 나의 분노를 너희에게 내리게 하지 아니하리니, 이는 나는 자비하며 분노를 영원히 간직하지 아니할 것임이라. 주가 말하노라. Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the LORD; and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you： for I am merciful, saith the LORD, and I will not keep anger for ever. | |||
| ☞렘3:13 | 주 너의 하나님을 거슬러 범죄한 것과 모든 푸른 나무 아래서 타국인들에게로 네 길을 흩어 버린 것과 너희가 내 음성에 복종하지 않았던 네 죄악을 인정하기만 하라. 주가 말하노라. Only acknowledge thine iniquity, that thou hast transgressed against the LORD thy God, and hast scattered thy ways to the strangers under every green tree, and ye have not obeyed my voice, saith the LORD. | |||
| ☞렘3:14 | 타락한 자식들아, 돌이키라. 주가 말하노라. 이는 내가 너희에게 장가들었음이라. 내가 너희에게서 성읍 중 하나와 족속 중 둘을 취하여 너희를 시온으로 데려오리라. Turn, O backsliding children, saith the LORD; for I am married unto you： and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion： | |||
| ☞렘3:15 | 또 내가 내 마음에 합당한 목자들을 네게 주리니, 그들이 너희를 지식과 총명으로 먹이리라. And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding. | |||
| ☞렘3:16 | 주가 말하노라. 너희가 그때에 그 땅에서 번식하고 융성하게 되면 사람들은 주의 언약궤를 더이상 말하지 아니할 것이요, 생각지도 아니할 것이며 기억하지도 아니할 것이요, 가보지도 아니할 것이며 더이상 만들지도 아니할 것이라. And it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, saith the LORD, they shall say no more, The ark of the covenant of the LORD： neither shall it come to mind： neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it; neither shall that be done any more. | |||
| ☞렘3:17 | 그때에 사람들은 예루살렘을 주의 보좌라 부를 것이며, 주의 이름으로 모든 민족들이 그곳 예루살렘에 모일 것이며, 사람들은 더이상 그들의 악한 마음의 생각을 따라 행하지 아니하리라. At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the LORD; and all the nations shall be gathered unto it, to the name of the LORD, to Jerusalem： neither shall they walk any more after the imagination of their evil heart. | |||
| ☞렘3:18 | 그 날들에 유다의 집이 이스라엘의 집과 함께 행하리니, 그들이 함께 북쪽 땅에서 나와 내가 너희의 조상에게 유업으로 주었던 땅으로 오리라. In those days the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given for an inheritance unto your fathers. | |||
| ☞렘3:19 | 그러나 내가 말하기를 "내가 어찌 너를 자식들 가운데 두며 수많은 민족들 가운데서 아름다운 유업인 기쁨의 땅을 네게 주리요?" 하고, 또 내가 말하기를 "너는 나를 '나의 아버지'라 부르며, 내게서 돌아서지 않으리라." 하였노라. But I said, How shall I put thee among the children, and give thee a pleasant land, a goodly heritage of the hosts of nations? and I said, Thou shalt call me, My father; and shalt not turn away from me. | |||
| ☞렘3:20 | 오 이스라엘 집아, 실로, 아내가 자기 남편을 패역함으로 떠남같이 너희도 나를 패역함으로 대했도다. 주가 말하노라. Surely as a wife treacherously departeth from her husband, so have ye dealt treacherously with me, O house of Israel, saith the LORD. | |||
| ☞렘3:21 | 한 음성이 높은 곳에서 들리니 이스라엘 자손들이 울며 간구함이라. 이는 그들이 그들의 길을 왜곡시켰음이요 또 그들이 주 그들의 하나님을 잊어버렸음이라. A voice was heard upon the high places, weeping and supplications of the children of Israel： for they have perverted their way, and they have forgotten the LORD their God. | |||
| ☞렘3:22 | 너희 타락한 자식들아, 돌아오라. 그리하면 내가 너희의 타락을 치유시켜 주리라. 보소서, 우리가 주께로 오나니 이는 주가 주 우리 하나님이심이니이다. Return, ye backsliding children, and I will heal your backslidings. Behold, we come unto thee; for thou art the LORD our God. | |||
| ☞렘3:23 | 작은 산들과 많은 산들로부터 구원을 바라나 참으로 헛된 것이라. 이스라엘의 구원은 참으로 주 우리의 하나님 안에 있나이다. Truly in vain is salvation hoped for from the hills, and from the multitude of mountains： truly in the LORD our God is the salvation of Israel. | |||
| ☞렘3:24 | 우리가 젊었을 때부터 수치가 우리 조상들의 수고, 즉 그들의 양떼와 소떼, 아들들과 딸들을 삼켰음이라. For shame hath devoured the labour of our fathers from our youth; their flocks and their herds, their sons and their daughters. | |||
| ☞렘3:25 | 우리는 우리의 수치 가운데 누우며 우리의 치욕이 우리를 덮나이다. 이는 우리가 주 우리 하나님을 거슬러 죄를 지었음이니, 우리와 우리의 조상들은 우리의 젊은 시절부터 오늘날까지도 주 우리 하나님의 음성에 복종치 아니하였음이니이다. We lie down in our shame, and our confusion covereth us： for we have sinned against the LORD our God, we and our fathers, from our youth even unto this day, and have not obeyed the voice of the LORD our God. | |||
