| ☞렘14:1 | 가뭄에 관하여 주의 말씀이 예레미야에게 임하니라. The word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah concerning the dearth. | |||
| ☞렘14:2 | 유다가 애곡하며 그 성문들이 기운이 빠지고 그것들이 땅까지 검어지며 예루살렘의 부르짖음이 위로 올라가는도다. Judah mourneth, and the gates thereof languish; they are black unto the ground; and the cry of Jerusalem is gone up. | |||
| ☞렘14:3 | 귀족들이 그들의 어린 것들을 물로 보내었으나, 그들이 우물에 가서 물을 찾지 못하여 그릇들이 빈 채로 돌아오니, 부끄럽고 창피하여 그들의 머리를 가렸도다. And their nobles have sent their little ones to the waters： they came to the pits, and found no water; they returned with their vessels empty; they were ashamed and confounded, and covered their heads. | |||
| ☞렘14:4 | 땅에 비가 없어 지면이 갈라지므로 밭가는 사람들이 부끄러워 자기들의 머리를 가렸도다. Because the ground is chapt, for there was no rain in the earth, the plowmen were ashamed, they covered their heads. | |||
| ☞렘14:5 | 실로, 암사슴이 들에서 새끼를 낳아도 풀이 없으므로 그것을 버렸도다. Yea, the hind also calved in the field, and forsook it, because there was no grass. | |||
| ☞렘14:6 | 들나귀들은 높은 곳에 서서 용들처럼 코로 바람을 맡으나 풀이 없으므로 그들의 눈에 힘이 빠졌도다. And the wild asses did stand in the high places, they snuffed up the wind like dragons; their eyes did fail, because there was no grass. | |||
| ☞렘14:7 | 오 주여, 우리의 죄악들이 우리를 거슬러 증거할지라도 주께서는 주의 이름을 위하여 그 일을 행하소서. 이는 우리의 타락함이 많으며 우리가 주를 거역하여 죄를 지었음이니이다. O LORD, though our iniquities testify against us, do thou it for thy name's sake： for our backslidings are many; we have sinned against thee. | |||
| ☞렘14:8 | 오 이스라엘의 소망이여, 고난의 때에 구원자여, 어찌하여 주께서는 그 땅에 타국인 같으시며, 하룻밤을 묵기 위하여 지나치는 나그네같이 하시나이까? O the hope of Israel, the saviour thereof in time of trouble, why shouldest thou be as a stranger in the land, and as a wayfaring man that turneth aside to tarry for a night? | |||
| ☞렘14:9 | 어찌하여 주께서는 놀란 사람 같으시며 구원할 수 없는 용사 같으시나이까? 오 주여, 그러나 주께서는 우리 가운데 계시며, 우리는 주의 이름으로 칭함을 받사오니, 우리를 떠나지 마옵소서. Why shouldest thou be as a man astonied, as a mighty man that cannot save? yet thou, O LORD, art in the midst of us, and we are called by thy name; leave us not. | |||
| ☞렘14:10 | 주가 이 백성에게 이같이 말하노니, 그들이 그처럼 유랑하는 것을 사랑하여 자기들의 발을 삼가하지 아니하였으므로, 주가 그들을 용납하지 아니하고 그들의 죄악을 지금도 기억하며 그들의 죄들을 감찰하리라. Thus saith the LORD unto this people, Thus have they loved to wander, they have not refrained their feet, therefore the LORD doth not accept them; he will now remember their iniquity, and visit their sins. | |||
| ☞렘14:11 | 주께서 내게 또 말씀하시니라. 너는 이 백성을 위하여 그들의 복을 기도하지 말라. Then said the LORD unto me, Pray not for this people for their good. | |||
| ☞렘14:12 | 그들이 금식을 해도 내가 그들의 부르짖음을 듣지 아니할 것이며, 그들이 번제물과 헌물을 드려도 내가 그것들을 받아들이지 아니할 것이며, 대신 칼과 기근과 역병으로 그들을 소멸시키리라. When they fast, I will not hear their cry; and when they offer burnt offering and an oblation, I will not accept them： but I will consume them by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence. | |||
| ☞렘14:13 | 그때에 내가 말씀드렸도다. 아, 주 하나님이여, 보시옵소서. 선지자들이 그들에게 말하기를 "너희가 칼을 보지 아니할 것이요 기근도 겪지 아니할 것이라. 대신 내가 너희에게 이곳에서 확고한 화평을 주리라." 하나이다. Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, the prophets say unto them, Ye shall not see the sword, neither shall ye have famine; but I will give you assured peace in this place. | |||
| ☞렘14:14 | 주께서 또 내게 말씀하시니라. 선지자들이 내 이름으로 거짓되이 예언하는도다. 내가 그들을 보내지도 않았고, 그들에게 명령하지도 않았으며, 그들에게 말하지도 않았는데, 그들이 너희에게 거짓 환상과 점치는 것과 허망한 것과 그들 마음의 속임수로 예언하는도다. Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name： I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them： they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart. | |||
| ☞렘14:15 | 그러므로 내가 그들을 보내지 아니하였는데도 그들이 내 이름으로 예언하여 말하기를 "칼과 기근이 이 땅에 있지 아니하리라." 하는 그 선지자들에 관하여 주가 이같이 말하노니, 칼과 기근으로 그러한 선지자들이 소멸될 것이니라. Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that prophesy in my name, and I sent them not, yet they say, Sword and famine shall not be in this land; By sword and famine shall those prophets be consumed. | |||
| ☞렘14:16 | 또 그들이 예언하는 그 백성은 기근과 칼로 인하여 예루살렘의 거리들에 내버려지게 되리라. 그들과 그들의 아내와 아들과 딸을 묻어 줄 자가 아무도 없으리니, 이는 내가 그들 위에 그들의 사악함을 부을 것임이라. And the people to whom they prophesy shall be cast out in the streets of Jerusalem because of the famine and the sword; and they shall have none to bury them, them, their wives, nor their sons, nor their daughters： for I will pour their wickedness upon them. | |||
| ☞렘14:17 | 그러므로 너는 그들에게 이 말을 고하라. 내 눈에서 눈물이 흘러내려 밤낮 그치지 않을 것이니, 이는 내 백성의 처녀 딸이 심한 파괴와 아주 엄청난 타격으로 부서짐이라. Therefore thou shalt say this word unto them; Let mine eyes run down with tears night and day, and let them not cease： for the virgin daughter of my people is broken with a great breach, with a very grievous blow. | |||
| ☞렘14:18 | 내가 들에 나가니, 보라, 칼에 죽은 자요 내가 성읍에 들어가니, 보라, 기근으로 병든 자들이라! 정녕, 선지자와 제사장이 다 그들이 알지 못하는 땅으로 이리저리 다니는도다. If I go forth into the field, then behold the slain with the sword! and if I enter into the city, then behold them that are sick with famine! yea, both the prophet and the priest go about into a land that they know not. | |||
| ☞렘14:19 | 주께서 유다를 완전히 거부하셨나이까? 주의 혼이 시온을 싫어하셨나이까? 어찌하여 주께서 우리를 치시고 우리를 위하여 치유하지 않으시나이까? 우리가 화평을 바랐으나 좋은 것이 없고 치유의 때를 바랐으나 고난을 보나이다! Hast thou utterly rejected Judah? hath thy soul lothed Zion? why hast thou smitten us, and there is no healing for us? we looked for peace, and there is no good; and for the time of healing, and behold trouble! | |||
| ☞렘14:20 | 오 주여, 우리가 우리의 사악함과 우리 조상들의 죄악을 인정하나이다. 이는 우리가 주를 거역하여 죄를 지었음이니이다. We acknowledge, O LORD, our wickedness, and the iniquity of our fathers： for we have sinned against thee. | |||
| ☞렘14:21 | 주의 이름을 위하여 우리를 미워하지 마소서. 주의 영광의 보좌를 욕되게 하지 마소서. 우리와 더불어 세우신 주의 언약을 기억하시고 파기하지 마소서. Do not abhor us, for thy name's sake, do not disgrace the throne of thy glory： remember, break not thy covenant with us. | |||
| ☞렘14:22 | 이방인들의 헛된 것들 가운데 비를 내리게 할 수 있는 자가 있나이까? 아니면 하늘들이 소나기를 줄 수 있나이까? 오 주 우리 하나님이여, 주께서 그 분이 아니시나이까? 그러므로 우리가 주님을 바라리니, 이는 주께서 이 모든 것들을 지으셨음이니이다. Are there any among the vanities of the Gentiles that can cause rain? or can the heavens give showers? art not thou he, O LORD our God? therefore we will wait upon thee： for thou hast made all these things. | |||
