| ☞렘46:1 | 이방인들에 대하여 선지자 예레미야에게 임한 주의 말씀이라. The word of the LORD which came to Jeremiah the prophet against the Gentiles; | |||
| ☞렘46:2 | 이집트에 대한 것이며, 이집트의 파라오네코왕의 군대에 대한 것이니, 유다의 요시야왕의 아들 여호야킴 제 사년에 바빌론의 느부캇넷살왕이 유프라테스 강가 칼크미스에서 그 군대를 쳤음이라. Against Egypt, against the army of Pharaohnecho king of Egypt, which was by the river Euphrates in Carchemish, which Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon smote in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah. | |||
| ☞렘46:3 | 너희는 작은 방패와 큰 방패를 예비하고 싸우러 나가라. Order ye the buckler and shield, and draw near to battle. | |||
| ☞렘46:4 | 너희 기병들아, 말에 안장을 지워 타고 투구를 쓰고 나서라. 창을 갈고 갑옷을 입으라. Harness the horses; and get up, ye horsemen, and stand forth with your helmets; furbish the spears, and put on the brigandines. | |||
| ☞렘46:5 | 주가 말하노라. 어찌하여 그들이 놀라서 물러가는 것을 내가 보았는고? 또 그들의 용사들은 패배하여, 급히 도주하며 뒤도 돌아보지 아니하였으니, 이는 두려움이 그들을 에워쌌음이라. Wherefore have I seen them dismayed and turned away back? and their mighty ones are beaten down, and are fled apace, and look not back： for fear was round about, saith the LORD. | |||
| ☞렘46:6 | 빠른 자도 도망하지 못하며 용감한 자도 피하지 못하였으니, 그들이 유프라테스 강가에서 북쪽을 향해 넘어지며 쓰러지는도다. Let not the swift flee away, nor the mighty man escape; they shall stumble, and fall toward the north by the river Euphrates. | |||
| ☞렘46:7 | 홍수처럼 올라오며 그의 물결이 강들처럼 움직이는 이 자는 누구냐? Who is this that cometh up as a flood, whose waters are moved as the rivers? | |||
| ☞렘46:8 | 이집트가 홍수처럼 일어나고 그 물결이 강들처럼 움직이는도다. 그가 말하니라. 내가 올라가서 그 땅을 덮으리라. 내가 그 성읍과 그 안의 거민들을 멸하리라. Egypt riseth up like a flood, and his waters are moved like the rivers; and he saith, I will go up, and will cover the earth; I will destroy the city and the inhabitants thereof. | |||
| ☞렘46:9 | 너희 말들아, 올라오라 너희 병거들아, 사납게 달려라. 용사들아, 나올지니라. 방패를 잡는 에디오피아인과 리비아인과 활을 잡고 당기는 루디아인아, 나올지니라. Come up, ye horses; and rage, ye chariots; and let the mighty men come forth; the Ethiopians and the Libyans, that handle the shield; and the Lydians, that handle and bend the bow. | |||
| ☞렘46:10 | 그 날은 만군의 주 하나님의 날이요 복수의 날이라. 그가 그의 대적들에게 원수를 갚으리라. 칼이 삼키며 또 그 칼이 물리도록 먹고 그들의 피로 마시리니, 이는 만군의 주 하나님이 유프라테스 강가 북쪽 지방에서 희생을 낼 것임이라. For this is the day of the Lord GOD of hosts, a day of vengeance, that he may avenge him of his adversaries： and the sword shall devour, and it shall be satiate and made drunk with their blood： for the Lord GOD of hosts hath a sacrifice in the north country by the river Euphrates. | |||
| ☞렘46:11 | 오 이집트의 처녀 딸아, 길르앗으로 올라가서 향유을 취하라. 네가 헛되이 많은 약을 쓸지라도 네가 치유되지 못할 것임이라. Go up into Gilead, and take balm, O virgin, the daughter of Egypt： in vain shalt thou use many medicines; for thou shalt not be cured. | |||
| ☞렘46:12 | 민족들이 네 수치를 들었고 네 울부짖음이 땅을 채웠으니, 이는 용사가 용사에게 넘어지니 그들이 다 함께 쓰러졌음이라. The nations have heard of thy shame, and thy cry hath filled the land： for the mighty man hath stumbled against the mighty, and they are fallen both together. | |||
| ☞렘46:13 | 바빌론의 느부캇넷살왕이 와서 이집트 땅을 어떻게 칠 것인가에 대하여 주께서 선지자 예레미야에게 이르신 말씀이라. The word that the LORD spake to Jeremiah the prophet, how Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon should come and smite the land of Egypt. | |||
| ☞렘46:14 | 너희는 이집트에 선포하라. 믹돌에 공표하고 놉과 타판헤스에 공표하라. 너희는 말하기를 "굳게 서서 예비하라. 이는 칼이 네 주위를 삼킬 것임이라." 하라. Declare ye in Egypt, and publish in Migdol, and publish in Noph and in Tahpanhes： say ye, Stand fast, and prepare thee; for the sword shall devour round about thee. | |||
| ☞렘46:15 | 어찌하여 너의 용맹한 사람들이 쓸려 나갔느냐? 그들이 서지 못함은 주가 그들을 몰아내었기 때문이라. Why are thy valiant men swept away? they stood not, because the LORD did drive them. | |||
| ☞렘46:16 | 그가 많은 사람으로 넘어지게 하였으며, 사람 위에 사람이 쓰러지니, 그들이 말하기를 "일어나라. 압제하는 칼을 피하여 우리의 백성과 우리가 태어난 땅으로 다시 가자." 하니 He made many to fall, yea, one fell upon another： and they said, Arise, and let us go again to our own people, and to the land of our nativity, from the oppressing sword. | |||
| ☞렘46:17 | 그들이 거기서 부르짖기를 "이집트 왕 파라오는 소리뿐이로다. 그가 정한 때를 놓쳤도다." 하리라. They did cry there, Pharaoh king of Egypt is but a noise; he hath passed the time appointed. | |||
| ☞렘46:18 | 그의 이름이 만군의 주이신 왕이 말하노라. 내가 살아 있나니, 타볼이 산지 가운데 있음 같이, 칼멜이 해변에 있음 같이 그가 반드시 오리라. As I live, saith the King, whose name is the LORD of hosts, Surely as Tabor is among the mountains, and as Carmel by the sea, so shall he come. | |||
| ☞렘46:19 | 오 너 이집트에 사는 딸아, 너는 사로잡혀 가게 될 것을 스스로 준비하라. 이는 놉이 황폐하고 폐허가 되어 거민이 없을 것임이라. O thou daughter dwelling in Egypt, furnish thyself to go into captivity： for Noph shall be waste and desolate without an inhabitant. | |||
| ☞렘46:20 | 이집트는 심히 아름다운 암송아지 같으나 멸망이 오나니 그 멸망이 북쪽에서 오느니라. Egypt is like a very fair heifer, but destruction cometh; it cometh out of the north. | |||
| ☞렘46:21 | 또 이집트의 고용한 사람들은 그 가운데 있는 살진 송아지들 같아서 그들 역시 돌이켜서 함께 도망하였으며, 그들이 서지 못하였으니, 이는 그들의 재앙의 날과 그들의 감찰의 때가 그들에게 다가왔음이라. Also her hired men are in the midst of her like fatted bullocks; for they also are turned back, and are fled away together： they did not stand, because the day of their calamity was come upon them, and the time of their visitation. | |||
| ☞렘46:22 | 그곳의 목소리가 뱀처럼 가리니, 이는 그들이 군대와 더불어 행군하고 벌목하는 자들처럼 도끼를 가지고 이집트를 치러 올 것임이라. The voice thereof shall go like a serpent; for they shall march with an army, and come against her with axes, as hewers of wood. | |||
| ☞렘46:23 | 주가 말하노라. 그들이 정확히 알아낼 수는 없어도 산림을 베어 내리니, 이는 그들이 메뚜기보다 많고 헤아릴 수도 없음이라. They shall cut down her forest, saith the LORD, though it cannot be searched; because they are more than the grasshoppers, and are innumerable. | |||
| ☞렘46:24 | 이집트의 딸이 수치를 당하리니, 그녀가 북쪽 백성의 손에 넘겨질 것이라. The daughter of Egypt shall be confounded; she shall be delivered into the hand of the people of the north. | |||
| ☞렘46:25 | 만군의 주, 이스라엘의 하나님이 말하노라. 보라, 내가 노의 무리와 파라오와 이집트를 그들의 신들과 왕들, 즉 파라오와 그를 의지하는 모든 자들과 함께 벌하리라. The LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saith; Behold, I will punish the multitude of No, and Pharaoh, and Egypt, with their gods, and their kings; even Pharaoh, and all them that trust in him： | |||
| ☞렘46:26 | 내가 그들을 그들의 생명을 찾는 자들의 손과 바빌론의 느부캇넷살왕의 손과 그 종들의 손에 넘길 것이요, 그 후에야 그 땅이 옛날처럼 사람이 살게 되리라. 주가 말하노라. And I will deliver them into the hand of those that seek their lives, and into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of his servants： and afterward it shall be inhabited, as in the days of old, saith the LORD. | |||
| ☞렘46:27 | 그러나, 오 나의 종 야곱아, 너는 두려워 말라. 오 이스라엘아, 놀라지 말라. 보라, 내가 너를 먼 곳으로부터, 네 씨를 그들이 사로잡힌 땅으로부터 구원하리니, 야곱이 돌아와서 안락하고 편안하게 있을 것이며, 아무도 그를 두렵게 하지 못하리라. But fear not thou, O my servant Jacob, and be not dismayed, O Israel： for, behold, I will save thee from afar off, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and be in rest and at ease, and none shall make him afraid. | |||
| ☞렘46:28 | 주가 말하노라. 오 내 종 야곱아, 너는 두려워 말라. 이는 내가 너와 함께 있을 것이며, 내가 너를 쫓아냈던 모든 민족들을 완전히 멸망시키겠지만 내가 너는 멸망시키지 않고 공의로 바르게 할 것임이라. 그러나 내가 너를 전혀 벌하지 않은 채로 두지는 않을 것이니라. Fear thou not, O Jacob my servant, saith the LORD： for I am with thee; for I will make a full end of all the nations whither I have driven thee： but I will not make a full end of thee, but correct thee in measure; yet will I not leave thee wholly unpunished. | |||
