| ☞렘10:1 | 오 이스라엘 집아, 너희는 주께서 너희에게 말씀하시는 그 말씀을 들으라. Hear ye the word which the LORD speaketh unto you, O house of Israel： | |||
| ☞렘10:2 | 주가 이같이 말하노라. 이방의 길을 배우지 말고 하늘의 표적들에 당황하지 말라. 이는 이방이 그런 것들에 당황함이라. Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. | |||
| ☞렘10:3 | 그 백성들의 관습은 헛된 것이니, 이는 사람이 숲에서 도끼로 나무를 자르고 기술자가 손으로 만든 작품이라. For the customs of the people are vain： for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. | |||
| ☞렘10:4 | 그들이 그것을 은과 금으로 꾸미고 못과 망치로 고정시켜 움직이지 않게 하는도다. They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. | |||
| ☞렘10:5 | 그것들은 종려나무처럼 곧게 서 있으나 말을 못하고, 걸을 수도 없으니 꼭 붙들어 주어야 하느니라. 그것들을 두려워하지 말라. 이는 그것들이 악을 행할 수도 없고 또 선을 행함도 그들 안에 없음이라. They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not： they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good. | |||
| ☞렘10:6 | 오 주여, 주와 같은 이가 없나이다. 주는 위대하시며 주의 이름은 권능으로 위대하시나이다. Forasmuch as there is none like unto thee, O LORD; thou art great, and thy name is great in might. | |||
| ☞렘10:7 | 오 민족들의 왕이여, 누가 주를 두려워하지 않으리이까? 그것이 주께 적합함이니 이는 민족들의 모든 지혜로운 자들과 그들의 모든 왕국 가운데 주와 같은 분이 없음이니이다. Who would not fear thee, O King of nations? for to thee doth it appertain： forasmuch as among all the wise men of the nations, and in all their kingdoms, there is none like unto thee. | |||
| ☞렘10:8 | 그러나 그들은 다같이 우둔하고 어리석으니, 통나무는 헛된 것들의 교리라. But they are altogether brutish and foolish： the stock is a doctrine of vanities. | |||
| ☞렘10:9 | 접시에 입힌 은은 타시스에서 가져온 것이며, 또 우바스에서 가져온 금으로 기술자와 주물장이의 손으로 만든 작품은 청색과 자색으로 옷힙혔나니, 그것들은 모두 장인들의 작품이라. Silver spread into plates is brought from Tarshish, and gold from Uphaz, the work of the workman, and of the hands of the founder： blue and purple is their clothing： they are all the work of cunning men. | |||
| ☞렘10:10 | 그러나 주는 참하나님이시며 그는 살아 계신 하나님이요, 영원한 왕이시라. 그의 진노하심에 땅이 떨며 민족들이 그의 분노를 감당할 수 없게 되리라. But the LORD is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king： at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation. | |||
| ☞렘10:11 | 너희는 그들에게 이렇게 말할지니 "하늘과 땅을 짓지 아니한 신들은 땅과 이 하늘들 아래로부터 망하리라." 하라. Thus shall ye say unto them, The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, even they shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens. | |||
| ☞렘10:12 | 자기의 능력으로 땅을 지으신 분, 곧 자기 지혜로 세상을 세우신 주께서는 자기 명철로 하늘들을 펼치셨도다. He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion. | |||
| ☞렘10:13 | 주께서 그의 음성을 발하시니 하늘들에 많은 물들이 생기고, 또 주께서 땅 끝에서 증기를 올라오게 하시어, 비로 번개를 만드시고 그의 보고에서 바람을 끌어내시도다. When he uttereth his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens, and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures. | |||
| ☞렘10:14 | 모든 사람이 자기 지식에 우둔하고 모든 주물장이가 새긴 형상으로 수치를 당하나니, 이는 그의 부어 만든 형상은 거짓되고 그것들 속에는 호흡이 없음이라. Every man is brutish in his knowledge： every founder is confounded by the graven image： for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them. | |||
| ☞렘10:15 | 그것들은 헛된 것이요, 잘못 만들어진 것들이라. 그들의 감찰의 때에 그들이 멸망하리라. They are vanity, and the work of errors： in the time of their visitation they shall perish. | |||
| ☞렘10:16 | 야곱의 분깃은 그들과 같지 아니하나니, 이는 그 분이 만물의 조성자시요, 이스라엘은 그의 유업의 막대기임이라. 만군의 주가 그 분의 이름이라. The portion of Jacob is not like them： for he is the former of all things; and Israel is the rod of his inheritance： The LORD of hosts is his name. | |||
| ☞렘10:17 | 오 견고한 요새의 거민아, 그 땅에서 너의 짐꾸러미를 모으라. Gather up thy wares out of the land, O inhabitant of the fortress. | |||
| ☞렘10:18 | 이는 주가 이같이 말함이니, 보라, 내가 이번에는 그 땅의 거민들을 내어 던질 것이요, 또 그들을 괴롭게 하여 그들로 그것이 그런 줄 알게 하리라. For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will sling out the inhabitants of the land at this once, and will distress them, that they may find it so. | |||
| ☞렘10:19 | 내 상처로 인하여 내게 화가 있도다! 나의 상함이 크도다! 그러나 내가 말하기를 "참으로 이것은 심하니 내가 꼭 참아야 하리로다." 하였도다. Woe is me for my hurt! my wound is grievous; but I said, Truly this is a grief, and I must bear it. | |||
| ☞렘10:20 | 내 장막이 파괴되고 나의 모든 끈들이 끊어지고 내 자녀들이 내게서 나가고 없으니 내 장막을 펼 자와 내 휘장들을 세울 자가 더 없도다. My tabernacle is spoiled, and all my cords are broken： my children are gone forth of me, and they are not： there is none to stretch forth my tent any more, and to set up my curtains. | |||
| ☞렘10:21 | 목자들은 우둔하게 되어 주를 찾지 아니하므로 그들이 번성하지 못하고, 그들의 모든 양떼도 흩어질 것이라. For the pastors are become brutish, and have not sought the LORD： therefore they shall not prosper, and all their flocks shall be scattered. | |||
| ☞렘10:22 | 보라, 시끄러운 소문과 큰 격동함이 북방 나라로부터 와서 유다의 성읍들을 황폐케 하여 용들의 소굴로 만드는도다. Behold, the noise of the bruit is come, and a great commotion out of the north country, to make the cities of Judah desolate, and a den of dragons. | |||
| ☞렘10:23 | 오 주여, 인생의 길이 그 사람 안에 있지 아니함을 내가 아나이다. 그의 걸음을 인도하는 것이 걷는 그 사람 안에 있지 아니하나이다. O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself： it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps. | |||
| ☞렘10:24 | 오 주여, 나를 징계하시되 공의로 하시고 주의 진노로 하지 마시어 나로 아무것도 되지 않게 마옵소서. O LORD, correct me, but with judgment; not in thine anger, lest thou bring me to nothing. | |||
| ☞렘10:25 | 주의 격노를 주를 알지 못하는 이방들과 주의 이름을 부르지 아니하는 족속들 위에 부으소서. 이는 그들이 야곱을 먹고 그를 삼켰으며 진멸하여 그의 거처를 황폐케 하였음이니이다. Pour out thy fury upon the heathen that know thee not, and upon the families that call not on thy name： for they have eaten up Jacob, and devoured him, and consumed him, and have made his habitation desolate. | |||
