| ☞사42:1 | 내가 드높이는 나의 종을 보라. 나의 택한 자, 그 안에서 내 혼이 기뻐하는도다. 내가 나의 영을 그에게 두었으니 그가 이방인들에게 심판을 가져오리라. Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him： he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles. | |||
| ☞사42:2 | 그는 외치지 아니하며 음성을 높이지 아니하며 그의 음성이 길거리에서 들리지도 않게 하리라. He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street. | |||
| ☞사42:3 | 그는 상한 갈대를 꺾지 아니하며 연기나는 심지를 끄지 아니하고, 그는 심판을 진리로 가져오리라. A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench： he shall bring forth judgment unto truth. | |||
| ☞사42:4 | 그가 땅에 심판을 세우기까지는 쇠하거나 낙담하지 아니할 것이니, 섬들이 그의 율법을 기다리리라. He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth： and the isles shall wait for his law. | |||
| ☞사42:5 | 하늘들을 창조하시고 그것들을 펴시며, 땅과 거기에서 소산을 내시고, 그 위에 있는 백성들에게 호흡을 주시며, 그 안에 다니는 자들에게 영을 주신 분이신 하나님 주가 이같이 말하노라. Thus saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein： | |||
| ☞사42:6 | 나 주가 의로 너를 불렀으니, 내가 네 손을 붙들고 너를 지킬 것이며, 백성의 약속과 이방인들의 빛으로 너에게 주리라. I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles; | |||
| ☞사42:7 | 앞 못보는 눈들을 뜨게 하며, 감옥에서 갇힌 자들을 이끌어 내며 암흑 속에 앉은 자들을 감옥에서 구해 내리라. To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house. | |||
| ☞사42:8 | 나는 주니, 그것이 내 이름이라. 나는 내 영광을 다른 자에게, 내 찬양을 새긴 형상에게 주지 아니하리라. I am the LORD： that is my name： and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images. | |||
| ☞사42:9 | 보라, 이전 일들이 이루어졌으며, 내가 새 일들을 선포하나니, 그 일들이 시작되기 전에 내가 그 일들을 너희에게 말하노라. Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare： before they spring forth I tell you of them. | |||
| ☞사42:10 | 바다에 다니는 너희들과 그 안에 있는 모든 것들과 섬들과 그 거민들아, 새 노래로 주께 노래하며 땅 끝에서부터 그를 찬양하라. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth, ye that go down to the sea, and all that is therein; the isles, and the inhabitants thereof. | |||
| ☞사42:11 | 광야와 거기 있는 성읍들과 케달인이 거하는 마을들도 그들의 음성을 높일지니라. 바위의 거민들로 노래하게 하며 그들로 산꼭대기에서 소리지르게 할지니라. Let the wilderness and the cities thereof lift up their voice, the villages that Kedar doth inhabit： let the inhabitants of the rock sing, let them shout from the top of the mountains. | |||
| ☞사42:12 | 그들로 주께 영광을 돌리며 섬들 안에서 그의 찬양을 선포하게 할지니라. Let them give glory unto the LORD, and declare his praise in the islands. | |||
| ☞사42:13 | 주께서 용사같이 나가시어 전사와 같이 투기를 일으키시고 부르짖으며, 정녕 포효하여 그의 원수들을 쳐서 승리하시리라. The LORD shall go forth as a mighty man, he shall stir up jealousy like a man of war： he shall cry, yea, roar; he shall prevail against his enemies. | |||
| ☞사42:14 | 내가 오랫동안 조용히 참아 왔으며 잠잠하여 스스로 자제하였으나, 이제부터는 내가 산고를 겪는 여인처럼 부르짖을 것이며 내가 즉시 파괴시키고 삼킬 것이라. I have long time holden my peace; I have been still, and refrained myself： now will I cry like a travailing woman; I will destroy and devour at once. | |||
| ☞사42:15 | 내가 산들과 작은 산들을 황폐케 할 것이며, 그들의 모든 초목을 마르게 할 것이요, 내가 강들을 섬들이 되게 할 것이며 못들을 마르게 하리라. I will make waste mountains and hills, and dry up all their herbs; and I will make the rivers islands, and I will dry up the pools. | |||
| ☞사42:16 | 내가 소경들을 그들이 알지 못했던 길로 데려오며, 내가 그들을 그들이 알지 못했던 작은 길들로 인도할 것이요, 나는 그들 앞에 어두움을 빛으로 만들며 굽은 것들을 곧게 할 것이라. 내가 이런 일들을 그들에게 행할 것이며 그들을 버리지 아니하리라. And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known： I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them. | |||
| ☞사42:17 | 그들이 돌아서게 되며 크게 수치를 당하리니, 이는 새긴 형상을 신뢰하고 부어 만든 형상에 말하기를 "너희가 우리의 신들이라." 하였음이라. They shall be turned back, they shall be greatly ashamed, that trust in graven images, that say to the molten images, Ye are our gods. | |||
| ☞사42:18 | 너희 귀머거리들아, 들으라. 너희 소경들아, 보라. 너희가 볼 수 있으리라. Hear, ye deaf; and look, ye blind, that ye may see. | |||
| ☞사42:19 | 내 종 외에 누가 눈멀었으며, 누가 나의 보낸 내 사자처럼 귀먹었겠느냐? 누가 완전한 자처럼 눈멀었으며 누가 주의 종처럼 눈멀었겠느냐? Who is blind, but my servant? or deaf, as my messenger that I sent? who is blind as he that is perfect, and blind as the LORD's servant? | |||
| ☞사42:20 | 네가 많은 것을 보면서도 주시하지 않으며, 귀를 열어 놓고서도 듣지 않는도다. Seeing many things, but thou observest not; opening the ears, but he heareth not. | |||
| ☞사42:21 | 주께서는 그의 의로우심으로 인하여 매우 기뻐하시나니, 그는 율법을 높이시며 그것을 존귀하게 하시리로다. The LORD is well pleased for his righteousness' sake; he will magnify the law, and make it honourable. | |||
| ☞사42:22 | 그러나 이 백성이 도적질을 당하고 탈취를 당하며 그들 모두가 굴 속에 잡히게 되어 그들이 감옥에 갇히도다. 그들이 포로가 되었어도 구해 줄 자가 없고, 탈취물이 되었으나 "돌려주라."고 말한 자도 없도다. But this is a people robbed and spoiled; they are all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in prison houses： they are for a prey, and none delivereth; for a spoil, and none saith, Restore. | |||
| ☞사42:23 | 너희 가운데서 누가 이 일에 귀를 기울이겠느냐? 누가 다가올 일에 대하여 귀를 기울여 듣겠느냐? Who among you will give ear to this? who will hearken and hear for the time to come? | |||
| ☞사42:24 | 야곱을 탈취물로 주시고, 이스라엘을 도둑들에게 주신 이가 누구겠느냐? 우리가 거역하여 죄를 지은 그는 주가 아니셨더냐? 이는 그들이 주의 길로 행하지 아니하였고 그들이 주의 법에 순종하지 아니하였음이라. Who gave Jacob for a spoil, and Israel to the robbers? did not the LORD, he against whom we have sinned? for they would not walk in his ways, neither were they obedient unto his law. | |||
| ☞사42:25 | 그러므로 주께서 성난 분노와 전쟁의 위력을 야곱 위에 부으셨으며, 그의 주위에 불을 붙이셨으나 그가 알지 못하고 불이 그를 태웠으나 마음에 두지 아니하는도다. Therefore he hath poured upon him the fury of his anger, and the strength of battle： and it hath set him on fire round about, yet he knew not; and it burned him, yet he laid it not to heart. | |||
