| ☞사38:1 | 그 무렵에 히스키야가 병들어 죽게 되니 아모스의 아들 선지자 이사야가 그에게 와서 말하기를 "주가 말하노니, 네 집을 치우라. 네가 죽고, 살지 못하리라." 하더라. In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came unto him, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order： for thou shalt die, and not live. | |||
| ☞사38:2 | 그러자 히스키야가 자기 얼굴을 벽으로 돌리고 주께 기도하여 Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall, and prayed unto the LORD, | |||
| ☞사38:3 | 말하기를 "오 주여, 내가 간구하오니 내가 주 앞에서 진리 안에서와 온전한 마음으로 어떻게 행하였으며, 또 주의 목전에서 어떻게 선한 일을 행하였는지 이제 기억하소서." 하고 히스키야가 통곡하더라. And said, Remember now, O LORD, I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore. | |||
| ☞사38:4 | 그때 주의 말씀이 이사야에게 임하여 말씀하시기를 Then came the word of the LORD to Isaiah, saying, | |||
| ☞사38:5 | "가서 히스키야에게 말하라. 네 조상 다윗의 하나님 주가 이같이 말하노라. 내가 네 기도를 들었고 네 눈물을 보았노라. 보라, 내가 네 연수에 십오 년을 더해 주겠노라. Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears： behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years. | |||
| ☞사38:6 | 또 내가 너와 네 성읍을 앗시리아 왕의 손에서 건져내겠고 내가 이 성읍을 지켜 주리라. And I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria： and I will defend this city. | |||
| ☞사38:7 | 이것이 주로부터 너에게 한 표적이 되리니, 곧 주는 그가 말한 이 일을 행하리라는 것이라. And this shall be a sign unto thee from the LORD, that the LORD will do this thing that he hath spoken; | |||
| ☞사38:8 | 보라, 내가 아하스의 해시계에 내려갔던 그림자 각도를 십 도 뒤로 다시 가져오리라." 하시니라. 그러므로 태양이 내려간 각도로 십 도 되돌아갔더라. Behold, I will bring again the shadow of the degrees, which is gone down in the sun dial of Ahaz, ten degrees backward. So the sun returned ten degrees, by which degrees it was gone down. | |||
| ☞사38:9 | 유다의 히스키야왕이 병들었다가 그 병에서 회복되었을 때에 그의 글이라. The writing of Hezekiah king of Judah, when he had been sick, and was recovered of his sickness： | |||
| ☞사38:10 | "내가 말하기를 '나의 연수가 끊어져서 음부의 문으로 갈 것이며 내 연수의 나머지를 빼앗기리라.' 하였도다. I said in the cutting off of my days, I shall go to the gates of the grave： I am deprived of the residue of my years. | |||
| ☞사38:11 | 내가 말하기를 '내가 주를 보지 못하리라. 산 자들의 땅에서는 주를 보지 못하리라. 내가 세상의 거민들과 더불어 더이상 사람을 보지 못하리라.' 하였도다. I said, I shall not see the LORD, even the LORD, in the land of the living： I shall behold man no more with the inhabitants of the world. | |||
| ☞사38:12 | 나의 연수는 목자의 장막처럼 내게서 떠나 옮겨졌으며, 내가 나의 생명을 베짜는 사람처럼 끊었나이다. 주께서 나를 파리한 질병으로 끊으시리니, 주께서 낮부터 밤 사이에 나를 끝내시리이다. Mine age is departed, and is removed from me as a shepherd's tent： I have cut off like a weaver my life： he will cut me off with pining sickness： from day even to night wilt thou make an end of me. | |||
| ☞사38:13 | 내가 아침까지 견뎠으나 주께서 사자같이 나의 모든 뼈를 꺾으시리니, 낮부터 밤 사이에 주께서 나를 끝내시리이다. I reckoned till morning, that, as a lion, so will he break all my bones： from day even to night wilt thou make an end of me. | |||
| ☞사38:14 | 학이나 제비처럼 나도 그렇게 지저귀었으며, 비둘기처럼 슬피 울었고, 내 눈이 위를 쳐다보다가 지쳤나이다. 오 주여, 내가 억압을 당하오니 나를 맡아 주소서. Like a crane or a swallow, so did I chatter： I did mourn as a dove： mine eyes fail with looking upward： O LORD, I am oppressed; undertake for me. | |||
| ☞사38:15 | 주께서 내게 말씀하셨고 또 스스로 행하셨으니, 내가 무슨 말을 하리이까? 내가 내 혼의 괴로움 속에서 내 온 생애를 유연하게 가리이다. What shall I say? he hath both spoken unto me, and himself hath done it： I shall go softly all my years in the bitterness of my soul. | |||
| ☞사38:16 | 오 주여, 이런 일들로 인하여 사람이 살고 이 모든 일 가운데에 내 영의 생명이 있사오니, 주께서 나를 그처럼 회복시켜 주시고 나를 살려 주소서. O LORD, by these things men live, and in all these things is the life of my spirit： so wilt thou recover me, and make me to live. | |||
| ☞사38:17 | 보소서, 화평을 위하여 내가 큰 괴로움을 가졌사오나 주께서 나의 혼을 사랑 가운데 두시어 부패의 구렁에서 건져내셨으니, 이는 주께서 나의 모든 죄를 내 등 뒤에 던지셨음이니이다. Behold, for peace I had great bitterness： but thou hast in love to my soul delivered it from the pit of corruption： for thou hast cast all my sins behind thy back. | |||
| ☞사38:18 | 이는 음부가 주를 찬양하지 못하며 사망이 주를 경축하지 못하고, 구렁에 들어간 자들은 주의 진리를 바랄 수 없음이니이다. For the grave cannot praise thee, death can not celebrate thee： they that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth. | |||
| ☞사38:19 | 살아 있는 자, 살아 있는 자, 그가 내가 오늘 행하고 있듯이 주를 찬양하리이다. 아비가 자식들에게 주의 진리를 알게 하리이다. The living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I do this day： the father to the children shall make known thy truth. | |||
| ☞사38:20 | 주께서 나를 구원하시리니, 우리가 주의 전에서 우리의 전생애 동안 현악기에 맞춰 내 노래를 노래하리로다." The LORD was ready to save me： therefore we will sing my songs to the stringed instruments all the days of our life in the house of the LORD. | |||
| ☞사38:21 | 이는 이사야가 말하기를 "무화과 한 덩어리를 가져다가 그 종기 위에 바르면 왕이 나으리라." 하였고 For Isaiah had said, Let them take a lump of figs, and lay it for a plaister upon the boil, and he shall recover. | |||
| ☞사38:22 | 히스키야도 말하기를 "내가 주의 전에 올라갈 표적이 무엇이뇨?" 하였음이더라. Hezekiah also had said, What is the sign that I shall go up to the house of the LORD? | |||
