| ☞사17:1 | 다마스커스에 대한 엄중한 말씀이라. 보라, 다마스커스는 성읍의 모양이 사라지고 파괴의 무더기가 될 것이니라. The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap. | |||
| ☞사17:2 | 아로엘의 성읍들이 버려져 양떼를 위한 곳이 되어, 그들이 누울 것이나 그들을 놀라게 할 자가 아무도 없으리라. The cities of Aroer are forsaken： they shall be for flocks, which shall lie down, and none shall make them afraid. | |||
| ☞사17:3 | 요새도 에프라임으로부터 사라질 것이요, 왕국도 다마스커스로부터 사라질 것이며, 시리아의 남은 자들도 사라져서, 이스라엘 자손의 영광같이 될 것이라. 만군의 주가 말하노라. The fortress also shall cease from Ephraim, and the kingdom from Damascus, and the remnant of Syria： they shall be as the glory of the children of Israel, saith the LORD of hosts. | |||
| ☞사17:4 | 그 날에 야곱의 영광이 약해지고 그의 살진 육체가 야위리니, And in that day it shall come to pass, that the glory of Jacob shall be made thin, and the fatness of his flesh shall wax lean. | |||
| ☞사17:5 | 그것은 마치 추수꾼이 곡식을 거두어서 자기 손으로 이삭들을 따는 것과 같으며, 그가 르파임 골짜기에서 이삭을 줍는 것과 같으리라. And it shall be as when the harvestman gathereth the corn, and reapeth the ears with his arm; and it shall be as he that gathereth ears in the valley of Rephaim. | |||
| ☞사17:6 | 그래도 거기에는 아직 주울 만한 포도들이 남아 있으리니, 마치 올리브 나무를 흔들 때 가장 높은 꼭대기에 두세 개의 열매가 남은 것 같고, 가장 많이 열린 가지에 너더댓 개 남은 것과 같으리라. 이스라엘의 주 하나님이 말하노라. Yet gleaning grapes shall be left in it, as the shaking of an olive tree, two or three berries in the top of the uppermost bough, four or five in the outmost fruitful branches thereof, saith the LORD God of Israel. | |||
| ☞사17:7 | 그 날에 사람이 자기의 지으신 분을 쳐다볼 것이며 그의 눈이 이스라엘의 거룩한 분을 바라볼 것이요, At that day shall a man look to his Maker, and his eyes shall have respect to the Holy One of Israel. | |||
| ☞사17:8 | 또 그가 자기 손으로 만든 제단들을 쳐다보지 아니할 것이며, 자기 손가락으로 만든 아세라들이나 형상들을 바라보지 아니할 것이라. And he shall not look to the altars, the work of his hands, neither shall respect that which his fingers have made, either the groves, or the images. | |||
| ☞사17:9 | 그 날에 그의 견고한 성읍들이 마치 이스라엘 자손들 때문에 그들이 남겨 둔 버려진 큰 가지와 가장 높은 가지와 같으리니, 거기에 황폐함이 있으리라. In that day shall his strong cities be as a forsaken bough, and an uppermost branch, which they left because of the children of Israel： and there shall be desolation. | |||
| ☞사17:10 | 이는 네가 네 구원의 하나님을 잊어버렸고 네 능력의 반석을 마음에 두지 않았기 때문이라. 그러므로 네가 기뻐하는 식물들을 심고 또 다른 가지들로 접붙이며 Because thou hast forgotten the God of thy salvation, and hast not been mindful of the rock of thy strength, therefore shalt thou plant pleasant plants, and shalt set it with strange slips： | |||
| ☞사17:11 | 그 날에 네가 네 식물을 자라게 하고 아침에 네가 네 씨로 잘 발육하게 할 것이나, 그 수확은 근심과 심한 슬픔의 날에 무더기가 되리라. In the day shalt thou make thy plant to grow, and in the morning shalt thou make thy seed to flourish： but the harvest shall be a heap in the day of grief and of desperate sorrow. | |||
| ☞사17:12 | 마치 바다 소리처럼 소리를 내는 많은 백성의 무리와, 거대한 물결의 쇄도함같이 밀려드는 민족들의 쇄도함에 화 있으리라! Woe to the multitude of many people, which make a noise like the noise of the seas; and to the rushing of nations, that make a rushing like the rushing of mighty waters! | |||
| ☞사17:13 | 민족들이 큰 물결의 쇄도함같이 밀려들 것이나, 하나님께서 그들을 책망하시어 그들이 멀리 도망하리니, 마치 바람 앞에 있는 산들의 쭉정이같이, 회오리바람 앞에 돌아가는 물건처럼 날아가리라. The nations shall rush like the rushing of many waters： but God shall rebuke them, and they shall flee far off, and shall be chased as the chaff of the mountains before the wind, and like a rolling thing before the whirlwind. | |||
| ☞사17:14 | 보라, 저녁 때에 두려움을 당하고, 아침이 되기 전에 그가 없어지리라. 이것이 우리를 약탈한 자들의 분깃이요, 우리를 강탈한 자들의 몫이니라. And behold at eveningtide trouble; and before the morning he is not. This is the portion of them that spoil us, and the lot of them that rob us. | |||
