| ☞사11:1 | 이새의 줄기에서 한 싹이 나며 그의 뿌리들에서 한 가지가 자랄 것이라. And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots： | |||
| ☞사11:2 | 주의 영이 그의 위에 머물리니, 지혜와 명철의 영이요, 계획과 능력의 영이며, 지식과 주를 두려워하는 영이라. And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; | |||
| ☞사11:3 | 주를 두려워하는 가운데 그를 속히 명철케 하리니, 그는 자기 눈으로 보는 대로 판단하지 아니하고 귀로 듣는 대로 책망하지도 아니하나 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD： and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears： | |||
| ☞사11:4 | 가난한 자를 의로 판단하며 세상의 온유한 자를 위해서는 정직으로 책망하리라. 또 그는 그의 입의 막대기로 세상을 치고 자기 입술의 호흡으로 악인을 죽일 것이라. But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth： and he shall smite the earth： with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. | |||
| ☞사11:5 | 의가 그의 허리띠가 되며, 신실함이 그의 옆구리의 띠가 될 것이니라. And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins. | |||
| ☞사11:6 | 또한 이리가 어린 양과 함께 거하며 표범이 새끼 염소와 함께 누울 것이요, 송아지와 어린 사자와 살진 짐승이 함께하며 어린 아이가 그들을 이끌리라. The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. | |||
| ☞사11:7 | 암소와 곰이 함께 먹으며 그것들의 새끼들이 함께 누울 것이요, 사자가 소처럼 짚을 먹으리라. And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together： and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. | |||
| ☞사11:8 | 또 젖먹는 아이가 독사의 구멍에서 장난하며, 젖뗀 아이가 독사의 굴에 손을 넣으리라. And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den. | |||
| ☞사11:9 | 그들은 나의 모든 거룩한 산에서 해치거나 파괴시키지 않으리니, 이는 마치 물들이 바다를 덮음같이 세상이 주의 지식으로 충만할 것임이니라. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain： for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea. | |||
| ☞사11:10 | 그 날에 이새에게서 한 뿌리가 있어 백성의 깃발로 서리니, 이방인들이 그것을 찾을 것이며 그의 머무는 자리가 영화로우리라. And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek： and his rest shall be glorious. | |||
| ☞사11:11 | 그 날에는 주께서 다시 두 번째로 손을 펴사 남아 있는 그의 백성의 남은 자들을 회복시켜 앗시리아와 이집트와 파드로스와 쿠스와 엘람과 시날과 하맛과 바다의 섬들로부터 돌아오게 하실 것이라. And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. | |||
| ☞사11:12 | 그가 민족들을 위하여 한 깃발을 세우시고, 이스라엘의 내쫓긴 자들을 모으시며 땅의 사방으로부터 유다의 흩어진 자들을 함께 모으시리라. And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth. | |||
| ☞사11:13 | 또한 에프라임의 질투도 떠나가고 유다의 대적들도 끊어질 것이요, 에프라임은 유다를 질투하지 않을 것이며, 유다는 에프라임을 괴롭히지 않을 것이라. The envy also of Ephraim shall depart, and the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off： Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not vex Ephraim. | |||
| ☞사11:14 | 그러나 그들은 서쪽을 향하여 필리스티아인들의 어깨를 덮칠 것이요, 그들이 함께 동쪽 사람들을 약탈할 것이며, 그들은 에돔과 모압에 그들의 손을 댈 것이고, 또 암몬의 자손들은 그들에게 복종하리라. But they shall fly upon the shoulders of the Philistines toward the west; they shall spoil them of the east together： they shall lay their hand upon Edom and Moab; and the children of Ammon shall obey them. | |||
| ☞사11:15 | 주께서 이집트 바다의 방언을 완전히 멸하실 것이요, 그의 손을 강 위에 흔드시어 그의 막강한 바람을 일으키시고 그것을 쳐 일곱 갈래로 나뉘게 하시리니, 사람들이 신을 적시지 않고 건너가리라. And the LORD shall utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea; and with his mighty wind shall he shake his hand over the river, and shall smite it in the seven streams, and make men go over dryshod. | |||
| ☞사11:16 | 남게 될 그의 백성의 남은 자들을 위해 시리아로부터 대로가 있게 하시리니, 이스라엘이 이집트 땅에서 나왔던 그 날에 이스라엘에 있었던 것과 같게 하시리라. And there shall be an highway for the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria; like as it was to Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt. | |||
