☞겔20:1 일곱째 해 다섯째 달, 그 달 십일에 이스라엘의 장로들 가운데 어떤 사람들이 주께 물으려고 와서 내 앞에 앉으니
And it came to pass in the seventh year, in the fifth month, the tenth day of the month, that certain of the elders of Israel came to enquire of the LORD, and sat before me.
☞겔20:2 그때에 주의 말씀이 내게 임하여 말씀하시니라.
Then came the word of the LORD unto me, saying,
☞겔20:3 인자야, 이스라엘의 장로들에게 고하여 그들에게 말하라. 주 하나님이 이같이 말하노라. 너희가 내게 물으려고 왔느냐? 주 하나님이 말하노라. 내가 살아 있는 한, 내가 너희로 묻게 하지 아니하리라.
Son of man, speak unto the elders of Israel, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Are ye come to enquire of me? As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will not be enquired of by you.
☞겔20:4 네가 그들을 판단하려느냐? 인자야, 네가 그들을 판단하려느냐? 그들로 그들 조상들의 가증한 것들을 알게 하여
Wilt thou judge them, son of man, wilt thou judge them? cause them to know the abominations of their fathers：
☞겔20:5 그들에게 말하라. 주 하나님이 이같이 말하노라. 내가 이스라엘을 택한 날에 야곱 집의 자손에게 내 손을 들어올려 이집트 땅에서 그들에게 나 자신을 알게 하였으며, 내가 내 손을 그들에게 들어올렸을 때 말하기를 "나는 주 너희 하나님이라." 하였느니라.
And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day when I chose Israel, and lifted up mine hand unto the seed of the house of Jacob, and made myself known unto them in the land of Egypt, when I lifted up mine hand unto them, saying, I am the LORD your God;
☞겔20:6 내가 그들에게 나 자신을 알게 하였으며 내가 그들에게 내 손을 들어올려 그들을 이집트 땅에서 내가 그들을 위하여 찾아내었던 땅, 즉 젖과 꿀이 흐르고 모든 땅들의 영광인 곳으로 인도하리라는 그 날에
In the day that I lifted up mine hand unto them, to bring them forth of the land of Egypt into a land that I had espied for them, flowing with milk and honey, which is the glory of all lands：
☞겔20:7 내가 그들에게 말하기를 "너희 각인은 자기 눈에 가증함들을 내어 버리고 이집트의 우상들로 더불어 너희 자신들을 더럽히지 말라. 나는 주 너희 하나님이니라." 하였으나
Then said I unto them, Cast ye away every man the abominations of his eyes, and defile not yourselves with the idols of Egypt： I am the LORD your God.
☞겔20:8 그들은 내게 반역하였고 내게 청종하지 아니하였으며 그들 각자가 그들의 눈의 가증한 것들을 내버리지 아니하였고 이집트의 우상들을 버리지 아니하였느니라. 그러므로 내가 말하기를 "내가 나의 진노를 그들 위에 부어 이집트 땅 가운데 그들에 대한 나의 분노를 이루리라." 하였노라.
But they rebelled against me, and would not hearken unto me： they did not every man cast away the abominations of their eyes, neither did they forsake the idols of Egypt： then I said, I will pour out my fury upon them, to accomplish my anger against them in the midst of the land of Egypt.
☞겔20:9 그러나 내가 내 이름을 위하여 일하였나니 그들이 거하는 바 이방인 앞에서 내 이름이 더럽혀져서는 안되기 때문이라. 내가 이집트 땅에서 그들을 인도하여 냄으로써 그들의 목전에서 내 자신을 그들에게 알게 하였도다.
But I wrought for my name's sake, that it should not be polluted before the heathen, among whom they were, in whose sight I made myself known unto them, in bringing them forth out of the land of Egypt.
☞겔20:10 그러므로 내가 그들로 이집트 땅에서 내보내서 광야로 데려갔으며
Wherefore I caused them to go forth out of the land of Egypt, and brought them into the wilderness.
☞겔20:11 내가 그들에게 내 규례를 주고 내 명령들을 보여 주었으니 사람이 그것들을 행하면 그가 그것들로 살 것이라
And I gave them my statutes, and shewed them my judgments, which if a man do, he shall even live in them.
☞겔20:12 또 나는 그들에게 내 안식일들도 주었으니 나와 그들 사이에 표적이 되게 하고 그들로 내가 그들을 거룩하게 하는 주인 줄 알게 하려는 것이라.
Moreover also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am the LORD that sanctify them.
☞겔20:13 그러나 이스라엘 집이 광야에서 내게 반역하였고 그들이 내 규례대로 행하지 아니하였으며 내 명령들을 멸시하였으니, 사람이 그것들을 행하면 그가 그것들로 살 것이라. 또 그들은 나의 안식일들을 크게 더럽혔도다. 그러므로 내가 말하기를 내가 "광야에서 내 진노를 그들 위에 부어 그들을 진멸하리라." 하였도다.
But the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness： they walked not in my statutes, and they despised my judgments, which if a man do, he shall even live in them; and my sabbaths they greatly polluted： then I said, I would pour out my fury upon them in the wilderness, to consume them.
☞겔20:14 그러나 이방인들 앞에서 내 이름을 더럽히지 않으려고 내가 내 이름을 위하여 일하였나니 이방인들의 목전에서 내가 그들을 인도하여 내었도다.
But I wrought for my name's sake, that it should not be polluted before the heathen, in whose sight I brought them out.
☞겔20:15 또한 내가 광야에서 그들에게 내 손을 들어올려 맹세하기를 내가 그들에게 주었던 땅 즉 젖과 꿀이 흐르고 모든 땅의 영광인 곳으로 그들을 데려가지 아니하리라 하였으니
Yet also I lifted up my hand unto them in the wilderness, that I would not bring them into the land which I had given them, flowing with milk and honey, which is the glory of all lands;
☞겔20:16 이는 그들이 나의 명령들을 멸시하고 내 규례를 따라 행하지 아니하며 오히려 내 안식일들을 더럽혔기 때문이요, 이는 그들의 마음이 그들의 우상들을 좇아갔음이라.
Because they despised my judgments, and walked not in my statutes, but polluted my sabbaths： for their heart went after their idols.
☞겔20:17 그렇지만 내 눈이 그들을 멸망으로부터 남겨 두었고, 내가 광야에서 그들을 끝장내지 아니하였노라.
Nevertheless mine eye spared them from destroying them, neither did I make an end of them in the wilderness.
☞겔20:18 그러나 내가 광야에서 그들의 자손들에게 말하기를 "너희는 너희 조상들의 규례들을 따라 행하지 말고 그들의 명령들을 준수하지 말며 그들의 우상들로 너희 자신을 더럽히지 말라.
But I said unto their children in the wilderness, Walk ye not in the statutes of your fathers, neither observe their judgments, nor defile yourselves with their idols：
☞겔20:19 나는 주 너희 하나님이니, 내 규례들을 따라 행하고 내 명령들을 준수하여 그것들을 행하며
I am the LORD your God; walk in my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them;
☞겔20:20 또 내 안식일들을 거룩하게 하라. 그 안식일들은 나와 너희 사이에 표적이 되리니, 이는 내가 주 너희 하나님인 것을 너희로 알게 하려 함이라." 하였노라.
And hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am the LORD your God.
☞겔20:21 그럼에도 불구하고 그 자손들이 내게 반역하여 그들이 내 규례를 따라 행하지 아니하였고 내 명령들을 준수하여 행하지 아니하였으니, 사람이 그것들을 행하면 그것들로 살 것이라. 그들이 내 안식일들을 더럽혔기에 내가 말하기를 "내가 내 진노를 그들에게 부어 광야에서 그들에게 내 분노를 이루리라." 하였도다.
Notwithstanding the children rebelled against me： they walked not in my statutes, neither kept my judgments to do them, which if a man do, he shall even live in them; they polluted my sabbaths： then I said, I would pour out my fury upon them, to accomplish my anger against them in the wilderness.
☞겔20:22 그러나 내가 내 손을 거두고 내 이름을 위하여 일하였으니, 이는 내가 그들을 인도하여 낸 이방인의 목전에서 내 이름을 더럽히지 아니하려 하였음이라.
Nevertheless I withdrew mine hand, and wrought for my name's sake, that it should not be polluted in the sight of the heathen, in whose sight I brought them forth.
☞겔20:23 내가 또한 광야에서 그들에게 내 손을 들어올려 맹세하기를 "내가 그들을 이방 가운데 흩어 버리고 나라들 속에 그들을 분산시키리라." 하였으니
I lifted up mine hand unto them also in the wilderness, that I would scatter them among the heathen, and disperse them through the countries;
☞겔20:24 이는 그들이 내 명령들을 실행하지 아니하고, 오히려 내 규례들을 멸시하였으며, 내 안식일들을 더럽혔고, 그들의 눈이 그들 조상들의 우상들을 좇아갔음이라.
Because they had not executed my judgments, but had despised my statutes, and had polluted my sabbaths, and their eyes were after their fathers' idols.
☞겔20:25 그러므로 내가 또한 그들에게 좋지 않은 규례들과 그들이 살지 못할 명령들을 주었으며
Wherefore I gave them also statutes that were not good, and judgments whereby they should not live;
☞겔20:26 내가 그들을 그들 자신의 예물들로 더럽혀 그들이 태를 연 모든 자들로 그 예물 속에서 불을 통과하게 하였으니, 이는 내가 그들을 황폐케 하여 결국은 그들로 내가 주인 줄 알게 하려 하였음이라.
And I polluted them in their own gifts, in that they caused to pass through the fire all that openeth the womb, that I might make them desolate, to the end that they might know that I am the LORD.
☞겔20:27 그러므로 인자야, 이스라엘 집에 고하여 그들에게 말하라. 주 하나님이 이같이 말하노라. 이것으로 너희 조상들이 나를 모독하였고 저것으로 나를 거역하여 범죄하였도다.
Therefore, son of man, speak unto the house of Israel, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Yet in this your fathers have blasphemed me, in that they have committed a trespass against me.
☞겔20:28 내가 그들에게 주기로 내 손을 들어올렸던 그 땅으로 그들을 인도하였더니 그들은 모든 높은 산과 모든 무성한 나무들을 보고 거기에다 제사를 드렸으며, 거기에다 격노케 하는 제물을 바치고, 또한 거기에 향기로운 냄새를 피우며, 제물로 술을 거기에 부었느니라.
For when I had brought them into the land, for the which I lifted up mine hand to give it to them, then they saw every high hill, and all the thick trees, and they offered there their sacrifices, and there they presented the provocation of their offering： there also they made their sweet savour, and poured out there their drink offerings.
☞겔20:29 그때에 내가 그들에게 말하기를 "너희가 다니는 산당이 무엇이냐?" 하였으니 그 곳의 이름이 오늘날까지도 바마라 일컫느니라.
Then I said unto them, What is the high place whereunto ye go? And the name whereof is called Bamah unto this day.
☞겔20:30 그러므로 이스라엘 집에 말하라. 주 하나님이 이같이 말하노라. 너희는 너희 조상들의 방식을 따라 더럽혀졌느냐? 너희는 그들의 가증한 것들을 따라 음란한 짓을 행하느냐?
Wherefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Are ye polluted after the manner of your fathers? and commit ye whoredom after their abominations?
☞겔20:31 너희가 너희 예물들을 드릴 때, 너희가 너희 아들들로 불 속을 통과하게 하였을 때, 너희의 모든 우상들로 너희 자신을 더럽혀서 오늘까지 이르렀도다. 오 이스라엘 집아, 내가 너희로 묻게 하랴? 주 하나님이 말하노라. 내가 살아 있는 한, 나는 너희로 묻게 하지 아니하리라.
For when ye offer your gifts, when ye make your sons to pass through the fire, ye pollute yourselves with all your idols, even unto this day： and shall I be enquired of by you, O house of Israel? As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will not be enquired of by you.
☞겔20:32 너희 마음 속에 들어온 것을 결코 이루지 못하리니, 이는 네가 말하기를 "우리가 이방인같이 되고 그 나라들의 족속들같이 되어 나무와 돌을 섬기리라." 함이라.
And that which cometh into your mind shall not be at all, that ye say, We will be as the heathen, as the families of the countries, to serve wood and stone.
☞겔20:33 주 하나님이 말하노라. 내가 살아 있는 한, 능력있는 손과 뻗친 팔과 진노를 부음으로써 내가 반드시 너희를 다스릴 것이요
As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out, will I rule over you：
☞겔20:34 또 내가 능력있는 손과 뻗친 팔과 진노를 부음으로써 그 백성으로부터 너희를 인도해 낼 것이며, 너희가 흩어져 있는 나라들로부터 너희를 모으리라.
And I will bring you out from the people, and will gather you out of the countries wherein ye are scattered, with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out.
☞겔20:35 내가 너희를 백성의 광야로 데려오리니, 내가 거기서 얼굴을 마주보고 너희와 더불어 변론하리라.
And I will bring you into the wilderness of the people, and there will I plead with you face to face.
☞겔20:36 내가 이집트 땅의 광야에서 너희 조상들과 더불어 변론한 것같이 내가 너희와 더불어 변론하리라. 주 하나님이 말하노라.
Like as I pleaded with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so will I plead with you, saith the Lord GOD.
☞겔20:37 또 내가 너희를 막대기 아래로 지나가게 할 것이요 내가 너희를 언약의 속박으로 데려와서
And I will cause you to pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant：
☞겔20:38 너희 가운데서 나를 거역한 자들과 나를 거슬러 범죄한 자들을 제거하리라. 내가 그들을 그들이 거하던 나라에서 인도하여 낼 것이나 그들은 이스라엘의 땅에 들어가지 못하리라. 너희는 내가 주인 줄 알리라.
And I will purge out from among you the rebels, and them that transgress against me： I will bring them forth out of the country where they sojourn, and they shall not enter into the land of Israel： and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
☞겔20:39 오 이스라엘 집아, 너희에 대하여 주 하나님이 이같이 말하노라. 만일 너희가 내게 청종하지 아니하려거든 너희는 가서 각기 자기 우상들을 섬기고 이후에도 역시 그리하라. 그러나 다시는 너희 예물들과 너희 우상들로 나의 거룩한 이름을 더럽히지 말라.
As for you, O house of Israel, thus saith the Lord GOD; Go ye, serve ye every one his idols, and hereafter also, if ye will not hearken unto me： but pollute ye my holy name no more with your gifts, and with your idols.
☞겔20:40 주 하나님이 말하노라. 내 거룩한 산과 이스라엘의 높은 산에서 이스라엘의 모든 집과 그 땅에 있는 그들 모두가 나를 섬기리라. 거기에서 내가 그들을 기꺼이 받아드릴 것이며 거기에서 내가 너희 제물들과 너희 예물의 첫 열매들을 너희 모든 거룩한 것들과 더불어 요구하리라.
For in mine holy mountain, in the mountain of the height of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, there shall all the house of Israel, all of them in the land, serve me： there will I accept them, and there will I require your offerings, and the firstfruits of your oblations, with all your holy things.
☞겔20:41 내가 너희를 그 백성들로부터 인도하여 내고 너희가 흩어져 있는 그 나라들에서 너희를 모을 때, 나는 너희의 향기로운 냄새와 더불어 너희를 받아드릴 것이요 또 나는 이방 앞에 너희 안에서 거룩하게 되리라.
I will accept you with your sweet savour, when I bring you out from the people, and gather you out of the countries wherein ye have been scattered; and I will be sanctified in you before the heathen.
☞겔20:42 내가 너희를 이스라엘 땅, 즉 내가 내 손을 들어올려서 너희 조상들에게 주기로 한 그 땅으로 너희를 데려올 때 너희는 내가 주인 줄 알리라.
And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall bring you into the land of Israel, into the country for the which I lifted up mine hand to give it to your fathers.
☞겔20:43 거기서 너희는 너희의 길과 너희가 더럽혔던 너희의 모든 행위들을 기억하고, 또 너희는 너희가 범한 너희의 모든 악들로 인하여 너희의 목전에서 너희 자신들을 몹시 싫어하리라.
And there shall ye remember your ways, and all your doings, wherein ye have been defiled; and ye shall lothe yourselves in your own sight for all your evils that ye have committed.
☞겔20:44 오 너희 이스라엘 집아, 내가 너희의 악한 길이나 너희의 부패한 행위들에 따라서 아니하고, 내 이름을 위하여 너희와 더불어 행하면 너희는 내가 주인 줄 알리라. 주 하나님이 말하노라.
And ye shall know that I am the LORD when I have wrought with you for my name's sake, not according to your wicked ways, nor according to your corrupt doings, O ye house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.
☞겔20:45 또 주의 말씀이 내게 임하여 말씀하시니라.
Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
☞겔20:46 인자야, 네 얼굴을 남쪽으로 향하여 두고 네 말을 남쪽을 향하여 들리게 하고 남쪽 들판의 삼림을 향하여 예언하라.
Son of man, set thy face toward the south, and drop thy word toward the south, and prophesy against the forest of the south field;
☞겔20:47 남쪽의 삼림에게 말하기를 "주의 말씀을 들으라. 주 하나님이 이같이 말하노라. 보라, 내가 네 안에 불을 붙이리니, 그러면 그 불이 네 안에 있는 모든 푸른 나무와 모든 마른 나무를 삼킬 것이요, 타오르는 불꽃은 꺼지지 아니할 것이며, 남쪽으로부터 북쪽에 이르는 모든 얼굴이 그 안에서 태워지리라.
And say to the forest of the south, Hear the word of the LORD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will kindle a fire in thee, and it shall devour every green tree in thee, and every dry tree： the flaming flame shall not be quenched, and all faces from the south to the north shall be burned therein.
☞겔20:48 모든 육체는 나 주가 그것을 불붙인 줄을 알지니, 그것이 꺼지지 아니하리라." 하라.
And all flesh shall see that I the LORD have kindled it： it shall not be quenched.
☞겔20:49 그때 내가 말씀드리기를 "주 하나님이여, 그들이 나에 대해서 말하기를 '그는 비유를 말하지 아니하는가?' 하나이다." 하였더라.
Then said I, Ah Lord GOD! they say of me, Doth he not speak parables?
