| ☞겔17:1 | 주의 말씀이 내게 임하여 말씀하시니라. And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, | |||
| ☞겔17:2 | 인자야, 이스라엘 집에 수수께끼를 내놓고 비유로 고하여 Son of man, put forth a riddle, and speak a parable unto the house of Israel; | |||
| ☞겔17:3 | 말하라. 주 하나님이 이같이 말하노라. 크고 긴 날개와 깃털이 무성하고 다양한 색깔을 갖춘 큰 독수리 한 마리가 레바논으로 가서 가장 높은 백향목 가지를 취하여 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; A great eagle with great wings, longwinged, full of feathers, which had divers colours, came unto Lebanon, and took the highest branch of the cedar： | |||
| ☞겔17:4 | 그 연한 가지들의 끝을 꺾어서 장사하는 땅으로 가져다가 상인들의 성읍에다 두었느니라. He cropped off the top of his young twigs, and carried it into a land of traffick; he set it in a city of merchants. | |||
| ☞겔17:5 | 또한 그는 그 땅의 씨앗을 가져다가 비옥한 밭에다 심었는데 그것을 큰 물가에 심었으니 마치 한 그루의 수양버들처럼 심었느니라. He took also of the seed of the land, and planted it in a fruitful field; he placed it by great waters, and set it as a willow tree. | |||
| ☞겔17:6 | 그것이 자라서 작은 키의 퍼지는 포도나무가 되어 그 가지들은 독수리에게로 향하였고 그 뿌리들은 독수리 아래 있었느니라. 그리하여 그것이 포도나무가 되어 큰 가지들을 내고 잔가지들을 내었느니라. And it grew, and became a spreading vine of low stature, whose branches turned toward him, and the roots thereof were under him： so it became a vine, and brought forth branches, and shot forth sprigs. | |||
| ☞겔17:7 | 또 날개가 크고 깃털이 많은 또 다른 큰 독수리가 있었는데, 보라, 이 포도나무는 독수리를 향하여 그 뿌리들을 뻗었고 독수리를 향하여 가지들을 내었는데, 이는 그 독수리가 포도가 심긴 밭고랑 가에 물을 주려 함이었느니라. There was also another great eagle with great wings and many feathers： and, behold, this vine did bend her roots toward him, and shot forth her branches toward him, that he might water it by the furrows of her plantation. | |||
| ☞겔17:8 | 포도나무가 큰 물가 좋은 땅에 심겼으니 이는 그것이 가지들을 내고 열매를 맺으며 아름다운 포도나무가 되게 하려 함이었느니라. It was planted in a good soil by great waters, that it might bring forth branches, and that it might bear fruit, that it might be a goodly vine. | |||
| ☞겔17:9 | 너는 말하라. 주 하나님이 이같이 말하노라. 그 포도나무가 번성하겠느냐? 그 독수리가 그 나무의 뿌리를 뽑고 과실을 따서 그 나무로 시들게 하지 않겠느냐? 큰 힘이나 많은 사람이 그것을 뿌리째 뽑지 않을지라도 그 나무가 내는 모든 잎이 마르리라. Say thou, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Shall it prosper? shall he not pull up the roots thereof, and cut off the fruit thereof, that it wither? it shall wither in all the leaves of her spring, even without great power or many people to pluck it up by the roots thereof. | |||
| ☞겔17:10 | 보라, 그것이 심겨졌으나 번성하겠느냐? 동풍이 그 나무에 닿으면 그것이 완전히 말라 버리지 않겠느냐? 그것이 자란 밭고랑들에서 말라 버리리라. Yea, behold, being planted, shall it prosper? shall it not utterly wither, when the east wind toucheth it? it shall wither in the furrows where it grew. | |||
| ☞겔17:11 | 또 주의 말씀이 나에게 임하여 말씀하시니라. Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, | |||
| ☞겔17:12 | 이제 반역하는 집에 말하라. 너희는 이것들이 무엇을 의미하는지 알지 못하느냐? 그들에게 이르라. 보라, 바빌론 왕이 예루살렘에 와서 왕과 그 고관들을 잡아 그들을 왕과 함께 바빌론으로 끌어가고 Say now to the rebellious house, Know ye not what these things mean? tell them, Behold, the king of Babylon is come to Jerusalem, and hath taken the king thereof, and the princes thereof, and led them with him to Babylon; | |||
| ☞겔17:13 | 왕의 씨 중에서 한 사람을 취하여 더불어 언약을 맺고 그에게서 맹세를 받아 내었으며 또한 그가 그 땅의 힘센 자들을 데려갔으니 And hath taken of the king's seed, and made a covenant with him, and hath taken an oath of him： he hath also taken the mighty of the land： | |||
| ☞겔17:14 | 이는 그 왕국을 낮추어서 스스로 서지 못하게 하려 함이며, 오직 그의 언약을 지킴으로써만 서게 하려 함이라. That the kingdom might be base, that it might not lift itself up, but that by keeping of his covenant it might stand. | |||
| ☞겔17:15 | 그러나 그가 그의 대사들을 이집트에 보냄으로써 그에게 반역하였으니, 이는 그들로 자기에게 말들과 많은 사람들을 주게 하려 함이라. 그가 번성하겠느냐? 이런 일들을 행한 그가 도피하겠느냐? 그가 언약을 위반하고서도 구제되겠느냐? But he rebelled against him in sending his ambassadors into Egypt, that they might give him horses and much people. Shall he prosper? shall he escape that doeth such things? or shall he break the covenant, and be delivered? | |||
| ☞겔17:16 | 주 하나님이 말하노라. 내가 살아 있는 한, 그가 그의 맹세를 멸시하고 그의 언약을 위반하였으니 그를 왕 되게 하신 왕이 거하는 곳에서, 즉 바빌론 가운데서 왕과 더불어 반드시 죽으리라. As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely in the place where the king dwelleth that made him king, whose oath he despised, and whose covenant he brake, even with him in the midst of Babylon he shall die. | |||
| ☞겔17:17 | 많은 사람들을 베어 버리려고 토루들을 쌓고 나무 운제들을 세움으로써 파라오가 그의 막강한 군대와 큰 무리로도 전쟁에서 그를 도와 주지 못하리라. Neither shall Pharaoh with his mighty army and great company make for him in the war, by casting up mounts, and building forts, to cut off many persons： | |||
| ☞겔17:18 | 보라, 그가 그의 손을 뻗쳐 이 모든 일을 행하였을 때 언약을 위반함으로써 맹세를 멸시하였음을 보나니 그가 피하지 못하리라. Seeing he despised the oath by breaking the covenant, when, lo, he had given his hand, and hath done all these things, he shall not escape. | |||
| ☞겔17:19 | 그러므로 주 하나님이 말하노라. 내가 살아 있는 한, 그가 나의 맹세를 분명히 멸시하였고 그가 내 언약을 위반하였으니 내가 그의 머리에다 그것을 갚으리라. Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; As I live, surely mine oath that he hath despised, and my covenant that he hath broken, even it will I recompense upon his own head. | |||
| ☞겔17:20 | 또 내가 그에게 내 그물을 펼쳐서 그가 내 올무에 걸리게 할 것이요, 내가 그를 바빌론으로 데려가서 그가 나를 거슬러 범한 그의 죄과에 대하여 거기서 그와 더불어 변론하리라. And I will spread my net upon him, and he shall be taken in my snare, and I will bring him to Babylon, and will plead with him there for his trespass that he hath trespassed against me. | |||
| ☞겔17:21 | 또 그의 모든 군대와 함께한 그의 모든 도망자들은 칼에 쓰러질 것이며, 남은 자들은 사방으로 흩어지리라. 그러면 너희는 나 주가 말하였던 것을 알리라. And all his fugitives with all his bands shall fall by the sword, and they that remain shall be scattered toward all winds： and ye shall know that I the LORD have spoken it. | |||
| ☞겔17:22 | 주 하나님이 이같이 말하노라. 내가 또한 키가 큰 백향목에서 가장 높은 가지를 취하여 심을 것이요, 내가 그 어린 가지들 꼭대기에서 연한 가지를 꺾어 높고 우뚝 솟은 산에 심으리라. Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also take of the highest branch of the high cedar, and will set it; I will crop off from the top of his young twigs a tender one, and will plant it upon an high mountain and eminent： | |||
| ☞겔17:23 | 이스라엘의 높은 산에 내가 그것을 심으리니 그 나무가 가지들을 내고 열매를 맺으며 아름다운 백향목이 될 것이요, 그 아래 각 날개의 모든 새가 거할 것이며, 그 가지들의 그늘 속에 그들이 거하리라. In the mountain of the height of Israel will I plant it： and it shall bring forth boughs, and bear fruit, and be a goodly cedar： and under it shall dwell all fowl of every wing; in the shadow of the branches thereof shall they dwell. | |||
| ☞겔17:24 | 들의 모든 나무들은 나 주가 높은 나무를 낮게 낮추고 낮은 나무를 높여 주며 푸른 나무를 마르게 하고 마른 나무를 무성케 하는 줄 알리라. 나 주가 말하고 그것을 행하였느라. And all the trees of the field shall know that I the LORD have brought down the high tree, have exalted the low tree, have dried up the green tree, and have made the dry tree to flourish： I the LORD have spoken and have done it. | |||
