| ☞욥40:1 | 또 주께서 욥에게 대답하여 말씀하시기를 Moreover the LORD answered Job, and said, | |||
| ☞욥40:2 | "전능하신 분과 더불어 다투는 자가 그 분을 가르치겠느냐? 하나님을 꾸짖는 자로 그것을 대답하게 하라." 하시더라. Shall he that contendeth with the Almighty instruct him? he that reproveth God, let him answer it. | |||
| ☞욥40:3 | 그때 욥이 주께 대답하여 말씀드리기를 Then Job answered the LORD, and said, | |||
| ☞욥40:4 | "보소서, 나는 악하오니 내가 무엇을 주께 대답하리이까? 내가 내 손으로 내 입을 가리겠나이다. Behold, I am vile; what shall I answer thee? I will lay mine hand upon my mouth. | |||
| ☞욥40:5 | 한 번 내가 말하였으나 대답하지 아니할 것이며, 실로 두 번 말하였으나 더이상 하지 않겠나이다." 하니라. Once have I spoken; but I will not answer： yea, twice; but I will proceed no further. | |||
| ☞욥40:6 | 그때 주께서 회오리바람 가운데서 욥에게 대답하여 말씀하시기를 Then answered the LORD unto Job out of the whirlwind, and said, | |||
| ☞욥40:7 | "이제 너는 남자답게 네 허리를 동이라. 내가 네게 요구하리니 너는 내게 표명할지니라. Gird up thy loins now like a man： I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me. | |||
| ☞욥40:8 | 네가 나의 심판을 무효화시키려느냐? 네가 나를 정죄함으로써 네가 의롭게 되려느냐? Wilt thou also disannul my judgment? wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be righteous? | |||
| ☞욥40:9 | 네가 하나님과 같은 팔이 있느냐? 네가 그와 같이 음성을 천둥처럼 낼 수 있느냐? Hast thou an arm like God? or canst thou thunder with a voice like him? | |||
| ☞욥40:10 | 이제 너는 위엄과 탁월함으로 스스로 꾸미고 영광과 아름다움으로 스스로 단장하라. Deck thyself now with majesty and excellency; and array thyself with glory and beauty. | |||
| ☞욥40:11 | 네 진노의 격정을 쏟아 버리고, 모든 교만한 자를 보고 그를 낮출지니라. Cast abroad the rage of thy wrath： and behold every one that is proud, and abase him. | |||
| ☞욥40:12 | 모든 교만한 자를 쳐다보고 그를 낮추며 악인을 그들의 자리에서 밟으라. Look on every one that is proud, and bring him low; and tread down the wicked in their place. | |||
| ☞욥40:13 | 그들을 흙 속에 함께 감추고 그들의 얼굴을 몰래 싸맬지니라. Hide them in the dust together; and bind their faces in secret. | |||
| ☞욥40:14 | 그리하면 나도 네 오른손이 너를 구원할 수 있다고 네게 말하리라. Then will I also confess unto thee that thine own right hand can save thee. | |||
| ☞욥40:15 | 이제 내가 너와 함께 만든 비히못을 보라. 그가 소처럼 풀을 먹는도다. Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox. | |||
| ☞욥40:16 | 이제 보라, 그의 강함은 그의 허리에 있고 그의 힘은 그 배의 중심에 있도다. Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly. | |||
| ☞욥40:17 | 그는 그의 꼬리를 백향목같이 움직이고 돌들로 된 그의 힘줄은 함께 얽혀 있도다. He moveth his tail like a cedar： the sinews of his stones are wrapped together. | |||
| ☞욥40:18 | 그의 뼈들은 강한 놋 조각들 같고, 그의 뼈들은 철 빗장들 같도다. His bones are as strong pieces of brass; his bones are like bars of iron. | |||
| ☞욥40:19 | 그는 하나님의 길에서 으뜸이며, 그를 만든 이가 자신의 칼로 하여금 그에게 다가가게 할 수 있느니라. He is the chief of the ways of God： he that made him can make his sword to approach unto him. | |||
| ☞욥40:20 | 모든 들짐승들이 노니는 산지가 정녕 그에게 먹이를 내느니라. Surely the mountains bring him forth food, where all the beasts of the field play. | |||
| ☞욥40:21 | 그는 그늘진 나무 아래와 갈대 숲 속과 늪 속에 누워 있도다. He lieth under the shady trees, in the covert of the reed, and fens. | |||
| ☞욥40:22 | 그늘을 만드는 나무들은 그늘로 그를 덮으며 시내의 버드나무들도 그를 두르는도다. The shady trees cover him with their shadow; the willows of the brook compass him about. | |||
| ☞욥40:23 | 보라, 그가 강을 마시되 서두르지 않으며, 요단을 자기 입 속으로 빨아들일 수 있다고 믿고 있도다. Behold, he drinketh up a river, and hasteth not： he trusteth that he can draw up Jordan into his mouth. | |||
| ☞욥40:24 | 그가 그의 눈으로 그것을 지키고 있으며 그의 코가 덫들을 꿰뚫는도다. He taketh it with his eyes： his nose pierceth through snares. | |||
