| ☞욥3:1 | 이 후에 욥이 입을 열어 자기 생일을 저주하니라. After this opened Job his mouth, and cursed his day. | |||
| ☞욥3:2 | 욥이 고하여 말하기를 And Job spake, and said, | |||
| ☞욥3:3 | "내가 태어난 날과, '남자 아이를 배었다.'고 말했던 그 밤이 없었더라면 Let the day perish wherein I was born, and the night in which it was said, There is a man child conceived. | |||
| ☞욥3:4 | 그 날이 캄캄하였더라면, 하나님께서 위에서 고려하지 아니하시고, 빛도 그 날에 비치지 아니하였더라면 Let that day be darkness; let not God regard it from above, neither let the light shine upon it. | |||
| ☞욥3:5 | 흑암과 사망의 그늘이 그 날을 얼룩지게 하고, 구름이 그 위를 덮어 그 날의 캄캄함이 그 날을 무섭게 하였더라면 Let darkness and the shadow of death stain it; let a cloud dwell upon it; let the blackness of the day terrify it. | |||
| ☞욥3:6 | 그 밤으로 말하면, 어두움이 엄습하여 해의 날들 가운데 들지 못하고, 달의 수에도 들어오지 아니하였더라면 As for that night, let darkness seize upon it; let it not be joined unto the days of the year, let it not come into the number of the months. | |||
| ☞욥3:7 | 보라, 그 밤이 적막하여 거기에서 아무런 즐거운 음성도 나오지 아니하였더라면 Lo, let that night be solitary, let no joyful voice come therein. | |||
| ☞욥3:8 | 애통하고자 하는 자들, 곧 그 날을 저주하는 자들이 그 음성을 저주하였더라면 Let them curse it that curse the day, who are ready to raise up their mourning. | |||
| ☞욥3:9 | 그 날의 새벽별들이 어두웠더라면, 빛을 찾으나 얻지 못했더라면, 그 날이 새벽을 보지 못하였더라면 좋았으리라. Let the stars of the twilight thereof be dark; let it look for light, but have none; neither let it see the dawning of the day： | |||
| ☞욥3:10 | 이는 그 날이 내 모태의 문을 닫지도 아니하였고 내 눈에서 슬픔을 가리지도 아니하였기 때문이라. Because it shut not up the doors of my mother's womb, nor hid sorrow from mine eyes. | |||
| ☞욥3:11 | 어찌하여 태에서 죽어 나오지 아니하였던가? 어찌하여 내가 배에서 나왔을 때 숨을 거두지 아니하였던가? Why died I not from the womb? why did I not give up the ghost when I came out of the belly? | |||
| ☞욥3:12 | 어찌하여 무릎이 나를 보호하였던가? 어찌하여 내가 젖가슴을 빨았던가? Why did the knees prevent me? or why the breasts that I should suck? | |||
| ☞욥3:13 | 그러면 내가 지금 가만히 누워서 평안히 있었을 것이요, 잠들어서 쉬고 있었을 것이며 For now should I have lain still and been quiet, I should have slept： then had I been at rest, | |||
| ☞욥3:14 | 자신들을 위하여 황폐한 곳들을 세운 세상의 왕들과 의논자들과 함께하였거나 With kings and counsellors of the earth, which build desolate places for themselves; | |||
| ☞욥3:15 | 아니면 자기 집들을 은으로 채운, 금을 가진 고관들과 함께하였거나 Or with princes that had gold, who filled their houses with silver： | |||
| ☞욥3:16 | 남모르게 유산된 것같이 내가 있지도 아니하여 빛을 보지 못한 아기들 같았을 것이라. Or as an hidden untimely birth I had not been; as infants which never saw light. | |||
| ☞욥3:17 | 거기는 악한 자의 고통이 그치며, 거기는 곤비한 자가 평안을 얻게 되고 There the wicked cease from troubling; and there the weary be at rest. | |||
| ☞욥3:18 | 거기서는 갇힌 자들이 함께 쉬며 압제자의 음성을 듣지 아니하는도다. There the prisoners rest together; they hear not the voice of the oppressor. | |||
| ☞욥3:19 | 작은 자와 큰 자가 거기 있으며 종이 자기 주인에게서 놓였도다. The small and great are there; and the servant is free from his master. | |||
| ☞욥3:20 | 어찌하여 불행에 처한 자에게 빛을 주시며 혼이 쓰라린 자에게 생명을 주시는고. Wherefore is light given to him that is in misery, and life unto the bitter in soul; | |||
| ☞욥3:21 | 이런 자는 죽음을 바라나 오지 아니하므로, 숨겨진 보배를 찾는 것보다 죽음을 찾아 더 파나니 Which long for death, but it cometh not; and dig for it more than for hid treasures; | |||
| ☞욥3:22 | 그들이 무덤을 찾을 수 있을 때 심히 기뻐하고 즐거워하지 아니하랴? Which rejoice exceedingly, and are glad, when they can find the grave? | |||
| ☞욥3:23 | 하나님께서 둘러 막으시어 그 길이 감춰진 사람에게 어찌하여 빛을 주셨는가? Why is light given to a man whose way is hid, and whom God hath hedged in? | |||
| ☞욥3:24 | 내가 먹기 전에 나의 탄식이 나오며 나의 울부짖는 소리가 물처럼 쏟아져 나왔도다. For my sighing cometh before I eat, and my roarings are poured out like the waters. | |||
| ☞욥3:25 | 이는 내가 크게 두려워하는 것이 내게 임하였고 내가 무서워하는 것이 내게 임하였음이라. For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me. | |||
| ☞욥3:26 | 나는 안전한 가운데 있지 않았고, 휴식도 가지지 않았고, 편안치 않았는데도 고난이 임했도다." 하더라. I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet; yet trouble came. | |||
