| ☞욥15:1 | 그러자 테만인 엘리파스가 대답하여 말하기를 Then answered Eliphaz the Temanite, and said, | |||
| ☞욥15:2 | "현명한 사람이 어찌 헛된 지식을 발설하겠으며 어찌 동풍으로 자기 배를 채우겠느냐? Should a wise man utter vain knowledge, and fill his belly with the east wind? | |||
| ☞욥15:3 | 그가 어찌 무익한 이야기와 선을 행할 수 없는 말로 따져 보겠느냐? Should he reason with unprofitable talk? or with speeches wherewith he can do no good? | |||
| ☞욥15:4 | 정녕, 네가 두려움을 내버리고 하나님 앞에 기도하기를 그치는도다. Yea, thou castest off fear, and restrainest prayer before God. | |||
| ☞욥15:5 | 네 입이 네 죄악을 말하며 네가 간교한 자의 혀를 택하였도다. For thy mouth uttereth thine iniquity, and thou choosest the tongue of the crafty. | |||
| ☞욥15:6 | 네 자신의 입이 너를 정죄하는 것이요, 내가 아니니라. 정녕, 네 입술이 너를 대적하여 증거하느니라. Thine own mouth condemneth thee, and not I： yea, thine own lips testify against thee. | |||
| ☞욥15:7 | 네가 첫번째로 태어난 사람이냐? 아니면 네가 산들에 앞서 지음을 받았느냐? Art thou the first man that was born? or wast thou made before the hills? | |||
| ☞욥15:8 | 네가 하나님의 비밀을 들었으며 그래서 지혜를 너만 알고 있느냐? Hast thou heard the secret of God? and dost thou restrain wisdom to thyself? | |||
| ☞욥15:9 | 네가 아는 것이 무엇이기에 우리가 그것을 모르겠느냐? 네가 깨달은 것이 무엇이기에 우리에게는 없단 말이냐? What knowest thou, that we know not? what understandest thou, which is not in us? | |||
| ☞욥15:10 | 우리에게는 백발인 사람도, 아주 나이가 많이 든 사람들도 있으니, 네 아비보다 훨씬 더 늙은 사람들이라. With us are both the grayheaded and very aged men, much elder than thy father. | |||
| ☞욥15:11 | 하나님의 위로가 네게 작은 것이냐? 너에게 무슨 비밀스러운 것이 있느냐? Are the consolations of God small with thee? is there any secret thing with thee? | |||
| ☞욥15:12 | 어찌하여 네 마음이 너를 멀리 데려가느냐? 네 눈이 무엇에다 눈짓하기에 Why doth thine heart carry thee away? and what do thy eyes wink at, | |||
| ☞욥15:13 | 너는 네 영으로 하나님을 대적하여 돌아서게 하며 그러한 말이 네 입에서 나오게 하느냐? That thou turnest thy spirit against God, and lettest such words go out of thy mouth? | |||
| ☞욥15:14 | 사람이 무엇이기에 깨끗하겠느냐? 여인에게서 태어난 자가 의로워질 수 있겠느냐? What is man, that he should be clean? and he which is born of a woman, that he should be righteous? | |||
| ☞욥15:15 | 보라, 그 분은 그의 성도들을 신뢰하지 아니하시나니, 정녕, 하늘들도 그 분 보시기에는 깨끗하지 아니하거늘 Behold, he putteth no trust in his saints; yea, the heavens are not clean in his sight. | |||
| ☞욥15:16 | 죄악을 물처럼 마시는 사람은 얼마나 더 가증하고 추하겠느냐? How much more abominable and filthy is man, which drinketh iniquity like water? | |||
| ☞욥15:17 | 내가 네게 보여 주리니, 나를 들으라. 내가 본 것을 내가 선포하리라 I will shew thee, hear me; and that which I have seen I will declare; | |||
| ☞욥15:18 | 현명한 사람들이 그들 조상으로부터 받은 것을 말하고 숨기지 아니하였으며 Which wise men have told from their fathers, and have not hid it： | |||
| ☞욥15:19 | 그 땅은 그들에게만 준 것이니 타국인은 그들 가운데 지나가지 못하였느니라. Unto whom alone the earth was given, and no stranger passed among them. | |||
| ☞욥15:20 | 악인은 그의 모든 날들 동안 아픔으로 고통을 당하며 압제자의 연수는 숨겨져 있느니라. The wicked man travaileth with pain all his days, and the number of years is hidden to the oppressor. | |||
| ☞욥15:21 | 그의 귀에는 무서운 소리가 있으며 그가 번영할 때에는 멸망시키는 자가 그에게 닥치리라. A dreadful sound is in his ears： in prosperity the destroyer shall come upon him. | |||
| ☞욥15:22 | 그는 어두운 데서 돌아오리라는 것을 믿지 못하고 칼의 위협을 기다리게 되느니라. He believeth not that he shall return out of darkness, and he is waited for of the sword. | |||
| ☞욥15:23 | 그는 빵을 구하려고 방황하며 말하기를 '빵이 어디 있느냐?' 하리니 그는 흑암의 날이 가까운 줄 아느니라. He wandereth abroad for bread, saying, Where is it? he knoweth that the day of darkness is ready at his hand. | |||
| ☞욥15:24 | 고난과 고통이 그를 두렵게 하며 그들은 전쟁을 준비한 왕처럼 그를 쳐서 이기리라. Trouble and anguish shall make him afraid; they shall prevail against him, as a king ready to the battle. | |||
| ☞욥15:25 | 이는 그가 하나님을 대적하여 자기 손을 뻗치고 전능하신 분을 대적하여 스스로 힘을 돋우기 때문이라. For he stretcheth out his hand against God, and strengtheneth himself against the Almighty. | |||
| ☞욥15:26 | 그 분은 그를 덮쳐 그의 목을 공격하시고 그의 방패의 두꺼운 중심 부위를 공격하시나니 He runneth upon him, even on his neck, upon the thick bosses of his bucklers： | |||
| ☞욥15:27 | 이는 그의 얼굴은 살지고 옆구리는 기름기로 겹살이 되었음이라. Because he covereth his face with his fatness, and maketh collops of fat on his flanks. | |||
| ☞욥15:28 | 또 그는 황폐한 성읍과 아무도 살지 않는 돌무더기가 될 집에 거하느니라. And he dwelleth in desolate cities, and in houses which no man inhabiteth, which are ready to become heaps. | |||
| ☞욥15:29 | 그는 부자가 되지 못하고, 그의 재산은 지속되지 못하며, 땅 위에서 그가 자기의 완전함을 연장시키지 못하리라. He shall not be rich, neither shall his substance continue, neither shall he prolong the perfection thereof upon the earth. | |||
| ☞욥15:30 | 그가 흑암에서 떠나지 못하리니 불꽃이 그의 가지들을 말려 버릴 것이며 그 분의 입김에 의하여 그가 멀리 가리라. He shall not depart out of darkness; the flame shall dry up his branches, and by the breath of his mouth shall he go away. | |||
| ☞욥15:31 | 속는 자로 허망한 것을 신뢰하지 말도록 할지니 이는 허망한 것이 그의 보상이 될 것임이라. Let not him that is deceived trust in vanity： for vanity shall be his recompence. | |||
| ☞욥15:32 | 그의 때가 되기 전에 그 일이 이루어질 것이며 그의 가지가 푸르지 못하리라. It shall be accomplished before his time, and his branch shall not be green. | |||
| ☞욥15:33 | 그는 포도나무처럼 자기의 익지 않은 포도를 흔들어 떨어뜨릴 것이며 올리브 나무처럼 자기 꽃들을 내던지리라. He shall shake off his unripe grape as the vine, and shall cast off his flower as the olive. | |||
| ☞욥15:34 | 위선자들의 회중은 황폐하게 될 것이요, 불이 뇌물을 받은 자의 장막들을 태우리라. For the congregation of hypocrites shall be desolate, and fire shall consume the tabernacles of bribery. | |||
| ☞욥15:35 | 그들은 재앙을 잉태하고 허망한 것을 낳으며 그들의 배는 속임수를 준비하느니라." 하니라. They conceive mischief, and bring forth vanity, and their belly prepareth deceit. | |||
