| ☞욥4:1 | 그때 테만인 엘리파스가 대답하여 말하기를 Then Eliphaz the Temanite answered and said, | |||
| ☞욥4:2 | "우리가 너와 이야기하고자 하면 네가 괴로워하겠으나, 그래도 말하지 않을 사람이 누구겠느냐? If we assay to commune with thee, wilt thou be grieved? but who can withhold himself from speaking? | |||
| ☞욥4:3 | 보라, 네가 많은 사람을 가르쳤고 네가 힘없는 손들에게 힘을 주었도다. Behold, thou hast instructed many, and thou hast strengthened the weak hands. | |||
| ☞욥4:4 | 네 말이 쓰러져 가는 자를 붙들어 세웠고, 네가 연약한 무릎에 힘을 주었도다. Thy words have upholden him that was falling, and thou hast strengthened the feeble knees. | |||
| ☞욥4:5 | 그러나 이제 그 일이 네게 임하여 네가 기진하였고, 그 일이 너를 치니 네가 고통을 당하는도다. But now it is come upon thee, and thou faintest; it toucheth thee, and thou art troubled. | |||
| ☞욥4:6 | 이것이 너의 두려움이며 신뢰며 희망이며 네 길들의 정직이 아니더냐? Is not this thy fear, thy confidence, thy hope, and the uprightness of thy ways? | |||
| ☞욥4:7 | 내가 네게 청하노니 기억해 보라. 무죄한데 망한 자가 누구이며, 의인으로 끊어진 자가 어디 있느냐? Remember, I pray thee, who ever perished, being innocent? or where were the righteous cut off? | |||
| ☞욥4:8 | 내가 본 바와 같이 죄악을 경작하는 자와 악을 심는 자는 같은 것을 거두나니 Even as I have seen, they that plow iniquity, and sow wickedness, reap the same. | |||
| ☞욥4:9 | 그들은 하나님의 입기운에 멸망하고 그의 콧김에 소멸되느니라. By the blast of God they perish, and by the breath of his nostrils are they consumed. | |||
| ☞욥4:10 | 사자의 으르렁거림과 사나운 사자의 소리와 젊은 사자들의 이빨이 부러졌도다. The roaring of the lion, and the voice of the fierce lion, and the teeth of the young lions, are broken. | |||
| ☞욥4:11 | 늙은 사자는 먹이가 부족하여 죽어가고 힘센 사자의 새끼들은 멀리 흩어지는도다. The old lion perisheth for lack of prey, and the stout lion's whelps are scattered abroad. | |||
| ☞욥4:12 | 이제 내게 어떤 말씀이 가만히 이르렀고 내 귀가 그 말씀에서 작은 것을 받았으니 Now a thing was secretly brought to me, and mine ear received a little thereof. | |||
| ☞욥4:13 | 사람들이 깊은 잠에 들 무렵, 그 밤에 본 환상들 생각에 빠졌는데 In thoughts from the visions of the night, when deep sleep falleth on men, | |||
| ☞욥4:14 | 두려움과 떨림이 내게 임하여 내 모든 뼈를 흔들었도다. Fear came upon me, and trembling, which made all my bones to shake. | |||
| ☞욥4:15 | 그 때 한 영이 내 얼굴 앞을 지나니 내 몸의 털이 곤두섰는데 Then a spirit passed before my face; the hair of my flesh stood up： | |||
| ☞욥4:16 | 그 영이 가만히 섰으나 나로서는 그 형태를 분별할 수가 없었으며, 한 형상이 내 눈 앞에 있는데 조용하였고, 내가 한 음성을 들었는데 말하기를 It stood still, but I could not discern the form thereof： an image was before mine eyes, there was silence, and I heard a voice, saying, | |||
| ☞욥4:17 | '죽을 인간이 하나님보다 더 의롭겠느냐? 사람이 자기의 창조주보다 더 순결하겠느냐? Shall mortal man be more just than God? shall a man be more pure than his maker? | |||
| ☞욥4:18 | 보라, 하나님은 자기 종들에게도 신뢰를 두지 아니하시며 그의 천사들도 우둔하다 책망하시나니 Behold, he put no trust in his servants; and his angels he charged with folly： | |||
| ☞욥4:19 | 좀 앞에서도 부서져 버리는 먼지에 기초를 둔 진흙집에 사는 자들은 얼마나 덜 신뢰하시겠느냐? How much less in them that dwell in houses of clay, whose foundation is in the dust, which are crushed before the moth? | |||
| ☞욥4:20 | 그들은 아침부터 저녁까지 멸망하고, 아무도 생각해 주는 이 없이 영원히 멸망하리라. They are destroyed from morning to evening： they perish for ever without any regarding it. | |||
| ☞욥4:21 | 그들 안에 있는 그들의 훌륭함이 사라지지 아니하겠느냐? 그들은 지혜도 없이 죽는도다.' 하더라. Doth not their excellency which is in them go away? they die, even without wisdom. | |||
