☞욥36:1 엘리후가 또 계속해서 말하기를
Elihu also proceeded, and said,
☞욥36:2 "나를 조금만 용납하라. 그러면 내가 하나님을 대신해서 아직 말해야 함을 당신에게 보여 주겠노라.
Suffer me a little, and I will shew thee that I have yet to speak on God's behalf.
☞욥36:3 내가 먼 곳에서 지식을 가져와서 나를 만드신 분께 의를 돌리리라.
I will fetch my knowledge from afar, and will ascribe righteousness to my Maker.
☞욥36:4 진실로 내 말은 거짓이 아니니 지식으로 온전하신 분께서 당신과 함께 계시느니라.
For truly my words shall not be false： he that is perfect in knowledge is with thee.
☞욥36:5 보라, 하나님께서는 막강하시나 아무도 멸시치 아니하시니라. 그 분은 능력과 지혜가 강하시니라.
Behold, God is mighty, and despiseth not any： he is mighty in strength and wisdom.
☞욥36:6 그 분은 악인의 생명은 보존하지 않으시나 가난한 자들에게는 의를 주시는도다.
He preserveth not the life of the wicked： but giveth right to the poor.
☞욥36:7 그 분은 의인들로부터 그의 눈을 돌이키지 아니하시나 그들로 왕들과 함께 보좌에 있게 하시며, 그 분은 그들을 영원히 세우시니 그들이 높임을 받는도다.
He withdraweth not his eyes from the righteous： but with kings are they on the throne; yea, he doth establish them for ever, and they are exalted.
☞욥36:8 만일 그들이 족쇄에 메이고 고난의 줄에 얽혔으면
And if they be bound in fetters, and be holden in cords of affliction;
☞욥36:9 그 분은 그들의 행실과 방자하게 저지른 그들의 허물들을 그들에게 보여 주시는도다.
Then he sheweth them their work, and their transgressions that they have exceeded.
☞욥36:10 그 분은 또한 그들의 귀를 열어 훈계를 듣게 하시며 그들로 죄악에서 돌이키도록 명령하시도다.
He openeth also their ear to discipline, and commandeth that they return from iniquity.
☞욥36:11 만일 그들이 그 분께 순종하고 섬기면 그들은 번영 가운데서 그들의 날을, 기쁨 가운데서 그들의 해를 보낼 것이니라.
If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.
☞욥36:12 그러나 만일 그들이 순종하지 아니하면 그들은 칼에 망할 것이요 그들은 지식 없이 죽을 것이니라.
But if they obey not, they shall perish by the sword, and they shall die without knowledge.
☞욥36:13 그러나 마음 속에 위선을 부리는 자들은 진노를 쌓나니, 그 분이 그들을 속박하실지라도 그들은 울지 아니하는도다.
But the hypocrites in heart heap up wrath： they cry not when he bindeth them.
☞욥36:14 그들은 젊어서 죽고 그들의 생명은 더러운 자들 가운데 있도다.
They die in youth, and their life is among the unclean.
☞욥36:15 그 분은 고난 중에 있는 가난한 자를 구해 내시고 압박당하는 그들의 귀를 열어 주시는도다.
He delivereth the poor in his affliction, and openeth their ears in oppression.
☞욥36:16 그렇더라도 그 분은 너를 좁은 곳에서 좁지 않은 넓은 곳으로 옮기셨을 것이며, 당신의 상 위에는 기름진 것으로 가득 채워 차렸으리라.
Even so would he have removed thee out of the strait into a broad place, where there is no straitness; and that which should be set on thy table should be full of fatness.
☞욥36:17 그러나 당신이 악인의 심판을 채웠으니 심판과 정의가 당신을 붙잡았도다.
But thou hast fulfilled the judgment of the wicked： judgment and justice take hold on thee.
☞욥36:18 그 분의 진노가 있으니 그 분께서 당신을 쳐서 제거하실까 주의하라. 그 때는 아무리 큰 몸값으로도 당신을 구해 내지 못하리라.
Because there is wrath, beware lest he take thee away with his stroke： then a great ransom cannot deliver thee.
☞욥36:19 그 분이 당신의 재물을 존중하시느뇨? 아니라. 금도 아니요, 힘이 되는 모든 세력도 아니라.
Will he esteem thy riches? no, not gold, nor all the forces of strength.
☞욥36:20 당신은 사람들이 그들의 처소에서 끊어지는 밤을 갈망하지 말라.
Desire not the night, when people are cut off in their place.
☞욥36:21 죄악을 고려하지 않도록 주의하라. 이는 당신이 고통보다도 이것을 택하였음이라.
Take heed, regard not iniquity： for this hast thou chosen rather than affliction.
☞욥36:22 보라, 하나님은 자신의 권능으로 높이시나니 누가 그와 같이 가르치겠느뇨?
Behold, God exalteth by his power： who teacheth like him?
☞욥36:23 누가 감히 그 분의 길을 그 분에게 명령하겠느뇨? 누가 감히 '주께서는 불의를 행하셨나이다' 라고 말할 수 있겠느뇨?
Who hath enjoined him his way? or who can say, Thou hast wrought iniquity?
☞욥36:24 당신은 사람들이 바라보는 그 분의 일을 드높이기를 기억하라.
Remember that thou magnify his work, which men behold.
☞욥36:25 모든 사람들이 그 일을 볼 것이요 먼 곳에서도 볼 것이라.
Every man may see it; man may behold it afar off.
☞욥36:26 보라, 하나님은 위대하시니 우리가 그 분을 알 수도 없고 그의 연수를 헤아릴 수도 없느니라.
Behold, God is great, and we know him not, neither can the number of his years be searched out.
☞욥36:27 그가 물방울을 작게 만드시나니 그 물방울들이 그 수증기대로 비로 쏟아지느니라.
For he maketh small the drops of water： they pour down rain according to the vapour thereof：
☞욥36:28 구름은 수증기를 물방울로 만들어 사람 위에 많이 떨어뜨리는도다.
Which the clouds do drop and distil upon man abundantly.
☞욥36:29 누가 구름이 펼쳐진 것이나 그의 장막의 소리를 알아차릴 수 있으랴?
Also can any understand the spreadings of the clouds, or the noise of his tabernacle?
☞욥36:30 보라, 그 분은 구름 위에 빛을 펴시고 바다 밑을 덮으시는도다.
Behold, he spreadeth his light upon it, and covereth the bottom of the sea.
☞욥36:31 그것들로 그 분은 백성을 심판하시며 그 분은 풍성하게 식물을 주시는도다.
For by them judgeth he the people; he giveth meat in abundance.
☞욥36:32 구름으로 빛을 가리시고, 그 중간에서 나오는 구름으로 빛이 비치지 못하도록 명하시도다.
With clouds he covereth the light; and commandeth it not to shine by the cloud that cometh betwixt.
☞욥36:33 그 소리가 빛에 관하여 보여 주고 가축도 이슬에 관하여 보여 주는도다.
The noise thereof sheweth concerning it, the cattle also concerning the vapour.
