| ☞욥38:1 | 그 때 주께서 회오리바람 속에서 욥에게 대답하여 말씀하시기를 Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said, | |||
| ☞욥38:2 | "지식이 없는 말로 이치를 어둡게 하는 이 자가 누구냐? Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge? | |||
| ☞욥38:3 | 너는 이제 남자답게 네 허리를 동이라. 내가 너에게 요구할 것이니, 너는 내게 대답하라. Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me. | |||
| ☞욥38:4 | 내가 이 세상의 기초들을 놓을 때에 네가 어디 있었느냐? 네게 명철이 있다면 분명히 밝히라. Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding. | |||
| ☞욥38:5 | 누가 그 치수를 재었는지, 네가 아느냐? 누가 그 위에 척량줄을 띄웠느냐? Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it? | |||
| ☞욥38:6 | 그 기초들은 무엇 위에다 고정시켰으며 모퉁잇돌은 누가 놓았느냐? Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof; | |||
| ☞욥38:7 | 언제 새벽별들이 함께 노래했으며 하나님의 아들들이 모두 기뻐서 소리쳤느냐? When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy? | |||
| ☞욥38:8 | 바닷물이 마치 태에서 물이 터져 나온 것처럼 쏟아져 나왔을 때 누가 바다를 문들로 막았더냐? Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb? | |||
| ☞욥38:9 | 내가 구름으로 바다의 의복을 만들고 짙은 흑암으로 그것을 싸는 포대기로 만들었을 때 When I made the cloud the garment thereof, and thick darkness a swaddlingband for it, | |||
| ☞욥38:10 | 나의 정해 놓은 곳에 한계를 정하여 빗장들과 문들을 세우고 And brake up for it my decreed place, and set bars and doors, | |||
| ☞욥38:11 | 말하기를 '네가 여기까지는 오나 더이상 가지 못하리니, 여기서 네 자만의 물결이 멈추겠느냐?' 하였도다. And said, Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further： and here shall thy proud waves be stayed? | |||
| ☞욥38:12 | 네가 네 날 이후로 아침에게 명령한 적이 있으며 새벽으로 그의 처소를 알게 하여 Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days; and caused the dayspring to know his place; | |||
| ☞욥38:13 | 그것으로 땅의 끝을 붙잡게 하며 악인을 거기서 흔들어 떨쳐 버린 적이 있느냐? That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it? | |||
| ☞욥38:14 | 새벽 해는 도장 밑의 진흙처럼 되었고 땅끝은 옷처럼 서 있도다. It is turned as clay to the seal; and they stand as a garment. | |||
| ☞욥38:15 | 악인들로부터는 그들의 빛이 억제되고 오만한 팔은 꺾이는도다 And from the wicked their light is withholden, and the high arm shall be broken. | |||
| ☞욥38:16 | 너는 바다의 샘들 속으로 들어가 보았느냐? 아니면 네가 깊은 곳을 찾아 거닐어 본 적이 있느냐? Hast thou entered into the springs of the sea? or hast thou walked in the search of the depth? | |||
| ☞욥38:17 | 사망의 문들이 네게 열렸더냐? 아니면 사망의 그림자의 문들을 보았더냐? Have the gates of death been opened unto thee? or hast thou seen the doors of the shadow of death? | |||
| ☞욥38:18 | 네가 땅의 너비를 알았더냐? 만일 그것을 모두 알았다면 선포하라. Hast thou perceived the breadth of the earth? declare if thou knowest it all. | |||
| ☞욥38:19 | 빛이 거하는 곳은 어느 길이냐? 흑암이 있는 자리는 어느 곳이기에 Where is the way where light dwelleth? and as for darkness, where is the place thereof, | |||
| ☞욥38:20 | 네가 그 경계로 가는 길을 택하여서 네가 그 집으로 가는 길을 알겠느냐? That thou shouldest take it to the bound thereof, and that thou shouldest know the paths to the house thereof? | |||
| ☞욥38:21 | 네가 그 때 태어났기에 그것을 알았느냐? 아니면 네 날 수가 많기에 네가 그것을 알았느냐? Knowest thou it, because thou wast then born? or because the number of thy days is great? | |||
| ☞욥38:22 | 네가 눈의 보고 속으로 들어갔느냐? 아니면 네가 우박의 보고를 보았느냐? Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail, | |||
| ☞욥38:23 | 그것들은 내가 고난의 때와 싸움과 전쟁의 날을 위하여 간직해 둔 것이라. Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war? | |||
| ☞욥38:24 | 동풍을 땅 위에 흩어지게 하는 그 빛이 어느 길로 갈라지겠느냐? By what way is the light parted, which scattereth the east wind upon the earth? | |||
| ☞욥38:25 | 범람하는 물에 누가 물길을 나누었으며 천둥의 번개에 누가 길을 내며 Who hath divided a watercourse for the overflowing of waters, or a way for the lightning of thunder; | |||
| ☞욥38:26 | 사람 없는 땅에 비를 내리게 하고 사람 없는 광야에 비를 내리게 하며 To cause it to rain on the earth, where no man is; on the wilderness, wherein there is no man; | |||
| ☞욥38:27 | 누가 황량하고 황폐한 땅을 적셔 주며 연한 풀에서 싹이 돋아나게 하였느냐? To satisfy the desolate and waste ground; and to cause the bud of the tender herb to spring forth? | |||
| ☞욥38:28 | 비에게 아비가 있느냐? 이슬 방울은 누가 낳았느냐? Hath the rain a father? or who hath begotten the drops of dew? | |||
| ☞욥38:29 | 얼음은 누구의 태에서 나왔느냐? 하늘의 하얀 서리는 누가 낳았느냐? Out of whose womb came the ice? and the hoary frost of heaven, who hath gendered it? | |||
| ☞욥38:30 | 물이 돌로 된 것처럼 감추워졌고 깊음의 표면은 얼어 있도다. The waters are hid as with a stone, and the face of the deep is frozen. | |||
| ☞욥38:31 | 네가 플레아데스 성단의 아름다운 감응력을 묶을 수 있으며 오리온의 띠를 풀 수가 있느냐? Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion? | |||
| ☞욥38:32 | 네가 열두 궁성을 그의 시기를 따라 불러낼 수 있느냐? 아니면 네가 악투루스 성단을 그의 아들들과 함께 인도할 수 있느냐? Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons? | |||
| ☞욥38:33 | 네가 하늘의 규례들을 아느냐? 네가 그 통치를 땅에 펼 수 있느냐? Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven? canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth? | |||
| ☞욥38:34 | 네가 네 목소리를 구름에까지 높여 많은 물들로 너를 덮게 할 수 있느냐? Canst thou lift up thy voice to the clouds, that abundance of waters may cover thee? | |||
| ☞욥38:35 | 네가 번개들을 보내어 그들로 가서 네게 말하기를 '우리가 여기 있나이다' 하게 할 수 있느냐? Canst thou send lightnings, that they may go and say unto thee, Here we are? | |||
| ☞욥38:36 | 누가 속에다 지혜를 주었느냐? 또한 누가 마음 속에 명철을 주었느냐? Who hath put wisdom in the inward parts? or who hath given understanding to the heart? | |||
| ☞욥38:37 | 누가 지혜로 구름을 셀 수 있겠느냐? 누가 하늘의 병들을 멈추게 할 수 있겠느냐? Who can number the clouds in wisdom? or who can stay the bottles of heaven, | |||
| ☞욥38:38 | 그때 먼지가 굳어지고 흙덩이가 함께 엉켜 있었도다. When the dust groweth into hardness, and the clods cleave fast together? | |||
| ☞욥38:39 | 네가 사자를 위하여 먹이를 사냥하겠느냐? 아니면 젊은 사자들의 식욕을 채워 주겠느냐? Wilt thou hunt the prey for the lion? or fill the appetite of the young lions, | |||
| ☞욥38:40 | 그들이 굴 속에서 웅크리고 은신처에서 숨어 기다릴 때에 그리하겠느냐? When they couch in their dens, and abide in the covert to lie in wait? | |||
| ☞욥38:41 | 까마귀 새끼들이 하나님께 울부짖고 먹이가 없어 방황할 때 누가 그 까마귀를 위하여 그의 먹을 것을 마련해 주느냐? Who provideth for the raven his food? when his young ones cry unto God, they wander for lack of meat. | |||
