| ☞욥29:1 | 또 욥이 계속 그의 비유로 말하기를 Moreover Job continued his parable, and said, | |||
| ☞욥29:2 | "내가 지난 달들같이, 하나님께서 나를 보존하시던 날들과 같이 되었으면! Oh that I were as in months past, as in the days when God preserved me; | |||
| ☞욥29:3 | 그때는 그의 촛불이 내 머리 위에 비쳤고 그의 빛으로 내가 어두움 속을 헤쳐 걸었으니 When his candle shined upon my head, and when by his light I walked through darkness; | |||
| ☞욥29:4 | 내 젊은 시절이라. 그때는 하나님의 비밀이 내 장막 위에 있었도다. As I was in the days of my youth, when the secret of God was upon my tabernacle; | |||
| ☞욥29:5 | 그 때는 전능하신 분이 나와 함께 계셨으며, 내 자식들이 내 주위에 있었도다. When the Almighty was yet with me, when my children were about me; | |||
| ☞욥29:6 | 그 때는 내가 나의 발자취를 버터로 씻었으며 바위가 기름의 강을 내게 부었도다. When I washed my steps with butter, and the rock poured me out rivers of oil; | |||
| ☞욥29:7 | 그 때는 내가 성읍을 질러 성문으로 나갔으며 내 자리를 거리에 마련하였도다. When I went out to the gate through the city, when I prepared my seat in the street! | |||
| ☞욥29:8 | 청년들은 나를 보고 숨었으며 나이 든 사람들은 일어나 서 있었도다. The young men saw me, and hid themselves： and the aged arose, and stood up. | |||
| ☞욥29:9 | 통치자들은 말을 삼가고 손으로 입을 가렸도다. The princes refrained talking, and laid their hand on their mouth. | |||
| ☞욥29:10 | 귀족들이 잠잠하였으니 그들의 혀가 입천장에 붙었도다. The nobles held their peace, and their tongue cleaved to the roof of their mouth. | |||
| ☞욥29:11 | 귀가 내 말을 들었을 때 나를 축복하였고 눈이 나를 보았을 때 나를 증거하였나니 When the ear heard me, then it blessed me; and when the eye saw me, it gave witness to me： | |||
| ☞욥29:12 | 이는 부르짖는 가난한 사람과 아비 없는 자와 도움을 받을 수 없는 자를 내가 구해 냈음이라. Because I delivered the poor that cried, and the fatherless, and him that had none to help him. | |||
| ☞욥29:13 | 망하게 된 자의 복이 내게 임하였으며 또 내가 과부의 마음도 기쁨으로 노래하게 하였도다. The blessing of him that was ready to perish came upon me： and I caused the widow's heart to sing for joy. | |||
| ☞욥29:14 | 내가 의로 옷 입었더니 그 의가 나를 옷 입혔도다. 나의 심판은 겉옷과 왕의 두건 같았도다. I put on righteousness, and it clothed me： my judgment was as a robe and a diadem. | |||
| ☞욥29:15 | 내가 소경에게는 눈이 되었고 절름발이에게는 발이 되었으며 I was eyes to the blind, and feet was I to the lame. | |||
| ☞욥29:16 | 가난한 자에게는 아비가 되었고 내가 알지 못하는 그 이유를 찾아내었도다. I was a father to the poor： and the cause which I knew not I searched out. | |||
| ☞욥29:17 | 내가 악인의 턱을 부수고 그의 잇사이에서 약탈물을 빼앗아 내었도다. And I brake the jaws of the wicked, and plucked the spoil out of his teeth. | |||
| ☞욥29:18 | 그때 내가 말하기를 "나는 나의 보금자리에서 죽을 것이요 내가 나의 날을 모래알처럼 많이 늘리리라. Then I said, I shall die in my nest, and I shall multiply my days as the sand. | |||
| ☞욥29:19 | 나의 뿌리는 물에 의하여 뻗어 나갔고 이슬이 밤새도록 내 가지 위에 내렸도다. My root was spread out by the waters, and the dew lay all night upon my branch. | |||
| ☞욥29:20 | 내 영광이 내 안에서 신선했고 내 활이 내 손에서 새롭게 되었도다. My glory was fresh in me, and my bow was renewed in my hand. | |||
| ☞욥29:21 | 사람들이 내게 귀를 기울이고 기다렸으며 내 권고에 잠잠하였도다. Unto me men gave ear, and waited, and kept silence at my counsel. | |||
| ☞욥29:22 | 내 말이 있은 후에는 그들이 다시 말하지 아니하였고 내 말이 그들 위에 내렸도다. After my words they spake not again; and my speech dropped upon them. | |||
| ☞욥29:23 | 그들이 나를 기다림이 마치 비를 기다림 같았으며 그들은 늦은 비를 찾듯이 입을 크게 벌렸도다. And they waited for me as for the rain; and they opened their mouth wide as for the latter rain. | |||
| ☞욥29:24 | 내가 그들을 비웃을지라도 그들은 그것을 믿지 않고, 내 얼굴빛을 낙담시키지 않았도다. If I laughed on them, they believed it not; and the light of my countenance they cast not down. | |||
| ☞욥29:25 | 내가 그들의 길을 택하였고, 우두머리로 앉아서 군대 가운데 있는 왕처럼 거하였으며, 애곡하는 자들을 위로하는 자와 같았도다. I chose out their way, and sat chief, and dwelt as a king in the army, as one that comforteth the mourners. | |||
