| ☞욥21:1 | 그러나 욥이 대답하여 말하기를 But Job answered and said, | |||
| ☞욥21:2 | "너희는 내 말을 잘 듣고 이것이 너희의 위로가 되게 하라. Hear diligently my speech, and let this be your consolations. | |||
| ☞욥21:3 | 내가 말하도록 용납하고 내가 말한 후에 조롱하라. Suffer me that I may speak; and after that I have spoken, mock on. | |||
| ☞욥21:4 | 나로 말하면, 나의 불평이 사람에게냐? 만일 그렇다면 어찌하여 내 영이 불안하지 아니하겠느냐? As for me, is my complaint to man? and if it were so, why should not my spirit be troubled? | |||
| ☞욥21:5 | 나를 보고 놀라라. 그리고 너희 손을 너희 입에 갖다 대라. Mark me, and be astonished, and lay your hand upon your mouth. | |||
| ☞욥21:6 | 내가 생각만 해도 무서우며 떨림이 내 몸을 붙잡는도다. Even when I remember I am afraid, and trembling taketh hold on my flesh. | |||
| ☞욥21:7 | 어찌하여 악인이 살고, 늙도록 살며, 정녕, 권력이 막강해지느냐? Wherefore do the wicked live, become old, yea, are mighty in power? | |||
| ☞욥21:8 | 그들의 자손이 그들의 목전에서 그들과 함께 굳게 서고 그들의 후손도 그들의 눈 앞에서 그러하도다. Their seed is established in their sight with them, and their offspring before their eyes. | |||
| ☞욥21:9 | 그들의 집은 두려움에서 벗어나 안전하며 그들 위에는 하나님의 막대기도 없도다. Their houses are safe from fear, neither is the rod of God upon them. | |||
| ☞욥21:10 | 그들의 수소는 틀림없이 새끼를 배게 하고, 암소는 새끼를 낳으며 낙태하지 않는도다. Their bull gendereth, and faileth not; their cow calveth, and casteth not her calf. | |||
| ☞욥21:11 | 그들은 양떼같이 어린 것들을 내보내며 그들의 자녀들은 춤추는도다. They send forth their little ones like a flock, and their children dance. | |||
| ☞욥21:12 | 그들은 탬버린과 하프를 들고 오르간 소리에 즐거워하는도다. They take the timbrel and harp, and rejoice at the sound of the organ. | |||
| ☞욥21:13 | 그들은 그들의 날들을 부유하게 보내다가 순식간에 음부로 내려가는도다. They spend their days in wealth, and in a moment go down to the grave. | |||
| ☞욥21:14 | 그러므로 그들이 하나님께 말하기를 '우리를 떠나가소서. 우리가 주의 길의 지식을 기뻐하지 아니하나이다. Therefore they say unto God, Depart from us; for we desire not the knowledge of thy ways. | |||
| ☞욥21:15 | 전능하신 분이 누구기에 우리가 그를 섬겨야 하리이까? 우리가 그 분께 기도한들 무슨 유익을 얻으리이까?' 하는도다. What is the Almighty, that we should serve him? and what profit should we have, if we pray unto him? | |||
| ☞욥21:16 | 보라, 그들의 복이 그들의 손에 있지 아니하며, 악인의 계획은 내게 멀리 있도다. Lo, their good is not in their hand： the counsel of the wicked is far from me. | |||
| ☞욥21:17 | 악인의 촛불이 얼마나 자주 꺼지랴? 그들의 멸망이 그들에게 얼마나 자주 임하랴? 하나님께서는 그 분의 진노 속에서 슬픔을 나눠 주시는도다. How oft is the candle of the wicked put out! and how oft cometh their destruction upon them! God distributeth sorrows in his anger. | |||
| ☞욥21:18 | 그들은 바람 앞에 그루터기 같고 폭풍에 휩쓸려가는 쭉정이 같도다. They are as stubble before the wind, and as chaff that the storm carrieth away. | |||
| ☞욥21:19 | 하나님은 그의 자녀들을 위해 그의 죄악을 쌓아 두셨다가 그에게 보상하시니, 그가 그것을 알게 되리라. God layeth up his iniquity for his children： he rewardeth him, and he shall know it. | |||
| ☞욥21:20 | 그는 자기 눈으로 자기의 멸망을 볼 것이요 전능하신 분의 진노를 마시게 되리라. His eyes shall see his destruction, and he shall drink of the wrath of the Almighty. | |||
| ☞욥21:21 | 그의 달 수가 중간에 끊기면 그가 없는 그의 집에 무슨 기쁨이 있겠느냐? For what pleasure hath he in his house after him, when the number of his months is cut off in the midst? | |||
| ☞욥21:22 | 그 분은 높은 데 있는 자들을 심판하시나니, 누가 하나님께 지식을 가르치겠느냐? Shall any teach God knowledge? seeing he judgeth those that are high. | |||
| ☞욥21:23 | 어떤 사람은 기력이 왕성할 때 아주 평안하고 안락한 가운데 죽나니 One dieth in his full strength, being wholly at ease and quiet. | |||
| ☞욥21:24 | 그의 가슴은 젖으로 가득 차고 그의 뼈는 골수로 차 있으며 His breasts are full of milk, and his bones are moistened with marrow. | |||
| ☞욥21:25 | 또 어떤 사람은 자기 혼의 쓰라림 속에서 죽으며 기쁨으로 먹지 못하는도다. And another dieth in the bitterness of his soul, and never eateth with pleasure. | |||
| ☞욥21:26 | 그들이 다 같이 흙 속에 눕고 벌레들이 그들을 덮는도다. They shall lie down alike in the dust, and the worms shall cover them. | |||
| ☞욥21:27 | 보라, 내가 너희의 생각을 알고 너희가 나를 거역하려고 그릇되이 구상한 계략을 아노라. Behold, I know your thoughts, and the devices which ye wrongfully imagine against me. | |||
| ☞욥21:28 | 너희가 말하기를 '통치자의 집이 어디 있느냐? 악인의 거처가 어디 있느냐?' 하는도다. For ye say, Where is the house of the prince? and where are the dwelling places of the wicked? | |||
| ☞욥21:29 | 너희는 길 가는 사람에게 묻지 아니하였느냐? 너희는 그들의 표식을 모르느냐? Have ye not asked them that go by the way? and do ye not know their tokens, | |||
| ☞욥21:30 | 즉 악인이 멸망의 날까지 보존되는 것을 알지 못하느냐? 그들은 진노의 날에 불려 나가게 되리라. That the wicked is reserved to the day of destruction? they shall be brought forth to the day of wrath. | |||
| ☞욥21:31 | 누가 그의 길을 그의 면전에 선포하랴? 누가 그가 행한 것을 그에게 갚아주랴? Who shall declare his way to his face? and who shall repay him what he hath done? | |||
| ☞욥21:32 | 그러나 그는 무덤으로 데려가져서 묘지에 남게 되리라. Yet shall he be brought to the grave, and shall remain in the tomb. | |||
| ☞욥21:33 | 골짜기의 흙덩어리가 그에게는 달겠고 그보다 앞서 간 자들이 무수한 것같이 모든 사람이 그를 뒤따르리라. The clods of the valley shall be sweet unto him, and every man shall draw after him, as there are innumerable before him. | |||
| ☞욥21:34 | 너희의 대답 속에 거짓이 남아 있음을 보는데, 너희가 어찌 나를 헛되이 위로하려느나? " 하니라. How then comfort ye me in vain, seeing in your answers there remaineth falsehood? | |||
