| ☞욥14:1 | 여자에게서 태어난 사람은 날 수가 적고 고통으로 가득 찼도다. Man that is born of a woman is of few days and full of trouble. | |||
| ☞욥14:2 | 그는 꽃같이 나와서 잘려져 버리고 그는 또한 그림자처럼 사라지고 머물지 아니하도다. He cometh forth like a flower, and is cut down： he fleeth also as a shadow, and continueth not. | |||
| ☞욥14:3 | 주께서는 그러한 자에게 주의 눈을 여시고 나를 주와 더불어 심판으로 데려오시나이까? And doth thou open thine eyes upon such an one, and bringest me into judgment with thee? | |||
| ☞욥14:4 | 누가 더러운 것 가운데서 깨끗한 것을 가져올 수 있나이까? 아무도 없나이다. Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? not one. | |||
| ☞욥14:5 | 그의 날들도 정해졌고 그의 달 수도 주와 함께 있으므로 주께서 그의 한계를 정하시어 지나치지 못하게 하셨나이다. Seeing his days are determined, the number of his months are with thee, thou hast appointed his bounds that he cannot pass; | |||
| ☞욥14:6 | 그에게서 돌이키사 그가 품꾼같이 자신의 날을 마칠 때까지 그로 쉬게 하소서. Turn from him, that he may rest, till he shall accomplish, as an hireling, his day. | |||
| ☞욥14:7 | 나무에는 소망이 있나니, 베일지라도 다시 싹이 나서 연한 가지가 끊이지 아니하며 For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease. | |||
| ☞욥14:8 | 그 뿌리가 땅에서 늙고 그 줄기가 땅에서 죽어도 Though the root thereof wax old in the earth, and the stock thereof die in the ground; | |||
| ☞욥14:9 | 물의 기운을 통하여 움이 돋고 식물처럼 가지가 나오는도다. Yet through the scent of water it will bud, and bring forth boughs like a plant. | |||
| ☞욥14:10 | 그러나 사람은 죽으면 소멸되나니, 참으로 사람이 숨을 거두면 그가 어디 있는가? But man dieth, and wasteth away： yea, man giveth up the ghost, and where is he? | |||
| ☞욥14:11 | 바다에서 물이 빠지고 홍수가 줄어들어 말라버림 같이 As the waters fail from the sea, and the flood decayeth and drieth up： | |||
| ☞욥14:12 | 사람은 누우면 일어나지 못하고, 하늘들이 없어질 때까지 그들은 그들의 잠에서 깨어나지 못하고 일어나지 못하는도다. So man lieth down, and riseth not： till the heavens be no more, they shall not awake, nor be raised out of their sleep. | |||
| ☞욥14:13 | 주께서는 나를 음부에 감추시고 주의 진노가 지날 때까지 나를 숨기시며 나에게 때를 정하시고 나를 기억하소서! O that thou wouldest hide me in the grave, that thou wouldest keep me secret, until thy wrath be past, that thou wouldest appoint me a set time, and remember me! | |||
| ☞욥14:14 | 사람이 죽으면 다시 살아나리이까? 나의 변화가 올 때까지 나의 정해진 때의 모든 날들을 나는 기다리나이다. If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come. | |||
| ☞욥14:15 | 주께서 나를 부르시리니 내가 주께 대답하리이다. 주께서는 주의 손의 지으신 것에 애착을 가지시리이다. Thou shalt call, and I will answer thee： thou wilt have a desire to the work of thine hands. | |||
| ☞욥14:16 | 그러나 지금은 주께서 나의 걸음을 헤아리시니 주께서는 나의 죄를 살피지 아니하시나이까? For now thou numberest my steps： dost thou not watch over my sin? | |||
| ☞욥14:17 | 나의 허물을 자루에 담아 봉하시고 주께서는 내 죄악을 실로 꿰매 버리셨나이다. My transgression is sealed up in a bag, and thou sewest up mine iniquity. | |||
| ☞욥14:18 | 산은 무너져 아무것도 아닌 것이 되고 바위도 제자리에서 옮겨지며 And surely the mountains falling cometh to nought, and the rock is removed out of his place. | |||
| ☞욥14:19 | 물은 돌을 닳게 하고 주께서는 땅의 티끌에서 자라는 것들을 씻어 버리시나이다. 또 주께서는 사람의 소망을 멸하시나이다. The waters wear the stones： thou washest away the things which grow out of the dust of the earth; and thou destroyest the hope of man. | |||
| ☞욥14:20 | 주께서는 사람을 영원히 이기시니 그는 사라지나이다. 주께서는 그의 용모를 바꾸시고 그를 멀리 보내시나이다. Thou prevailest for ever against him, and he passeth： thou changest his countenance, and sendest him away. | |||
| ☞욥14:21 | 자기 아들들이 존귀하게 되나 그는 그것도 알지 못하며 그들이 비천하게 되어도 그가 그것을 알지 못하나이다. His sons come to honour, and he knoweth it not; and they are brought low, but he perceiveth it not of them. | |||
| ☞욥14:22 | 다만 자기에게 붙은 살이 아프고 자기 안에 있는 그의 혼이 애통할 뿐이니이다." 하니라. But his flesh upon him shall have pain, and his soul within him shall mourn. | |||
