| ☞민25:1 | 이스라엘이 싯팀에 거하였는데 그 백성이 모압의 딸들과 더불어 음행하기 시작하였더라. And Israel abode in Shittim, and the people began to commit whoredom with the daughters of Moab. | |||
| ☞민25:2 | 그들이 자기 신들의 희생제에 백성을 부르니 그 백성이 먹고 그들의 신들에게 절하였더라. And they called the people unto the sacrifices of their gods： and the people did eat, and bowed down to their gods. | |||
| ☞민25:3 | 이스라엘이 바알프올에게 가담하였으니 주의 진노가 이스라엘에 대하여 일어나더라. And Israel joined himself unto Baalpeor： and the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel. | |||
| ☞민25:4 | 주께서 모세에게 말씀하시기를 "백성의 모든 우두머리들을 잡아다가 태양을 향하여 주 앞에 그들을 목매어 달라. 그리하면 주의 맹렬한 진노가 이스라엘로부터 사라지리라." 하시니라. And the LORD said unto Moses, Take all the heads of the people, and hang them up before the LORD against the sun, that the fierce anger of the LORD may be turned away from Israel. | |||
| ☞민25:5 | 모세가 이스라엘의 재판관들에게 말하기를 "너희는 각기 바알프올에게 가담하였던 자기 남자들을 모두 죽이라." 하니라. And Moses said unto the judges of Israel, Slay ye every one his men that were joined unto Baalpeor. | |||
| ☞민25:6 | 보라, 이스라엘 자손이 회중의 성막 문 앞에서 울고 있었는데, 이스라엘 자손 중 한 사람이 모세와 이스라엘 자손의 온 회중의 목전에서 한 미디안 여인을 데리고 그의 형제들에게로 온지라. And, behold, one of the children of Israel came and brought unto his brethren a Midianitish woman in the sight of Moses, and in the sight of all the congregation of the children of Israel, who were weeping before the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. | |||
| ☞민25:7 | 제사장 아론의 손자, 엘르아살의 아들 피느하스가 그것을 보고 회중 가운데서 일어나 손에 창을 들고 And when Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, saw it, he rose up from among the congregation, and took a javelin in his hand; | |||
| ☞민25:8 | 그 이스라엘 남자를 따라 그의 장막으로 들어가서 그 이스라엘 남자와 그 여인의 배를 꿰뚫었더니 그 역병이 이스라엘 자손에게서 멈추었더라. And he went after the man of Israel into the tent, and thrust both of them through, the man of Israel, and the woman through her belly. So the plague was stayed from the children of Israel. | |||
| ☞민25:9 | 그 역병으로 죽은 자들이 이만 사천 명이었더라. And those that died in the plague were twenty and four thousand. | |||
| ☞민25:10 | 주께서 모세에게 일러 말씀하시기를 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, | |||
| ☞민25:11 | "제사장 아론의 손자, 엘르아살의 아들 피느하스가 그들 가운데서 나를 위해 질투하여 이스라엘 자손으로부터 나의 진노를 돌이켰으니 내가 나의 질투심으로 이스라엘 자손을 진멸하지 않았도다. Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, hath turned my wrath away from the children of Israel, while he was zealous for my sake among them, that I consumed not the children of Israel in my jealousy. | |||
| ☞민25:12 | 그러므로 말하라. 보라, 내가 그에게 나의 화평의 언약을 주리라. Wherefore say, Behold, I give unto him my covenant of peace： | |||
| ☞민25:13 | 그와 그 뒤를 잇는 그의 씨가 그것을 가지리니, 곧 영원한 제사장 직분의 언약이라. 이는 그가 그의 하나님을 위하여 열성이 있어 이스라엘 자손을 속죄하였음이라." 하시니라. And he shall have it, and his seed after him, even the covenant of an everlasting priesthood; because he was zealous for his God, and made an atonement for the children of Israel. | |||
| ☞민25:14 | 그때 살해된 이스라엘 사람, 곧 미디안 여인과 함께 살해된 자의 이름은 시므리니, 살루의 아들이요 시므온인들 가운데서 주요 가문의 한 고관이며 Now the name of the Israelite that was slain, even that was slain with the Midianitish woman, was Zimri, the son of Salu, a prince of a chief house among the Simeonites. | |||
| ☞민25:15 | 살해된 미디안 여인의 이름은 코스비니, 수르의 딸이라. 수르는 미디안 주요 가문의 백성을 다스리는 우두머리였더라. And the name of the Midianitish woman that was slain was Cozbi, the daughter of Zur; he was head over a people, and of a chief house in Midian. | |||
| ☞민25:16 | 주께서 모세에게 일러 말씀하시기를 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, | |||
| ☞민25:17 | "미디안인들을 괴롭혀서 그들을 치라. Vex the Midianites, and smite them： | |||
| ☞민25:18 | 이는 그들이 간계로 너희를 괴롭히되, 그들이 프올의 일과, 미디안 통치자의 딸 곧 프올의 일로 역병이 일어난 날에 살해된 그들의 자매 코스비의 일로 너희를 현혹하였음이라." 하시니라. For they vex you with their wiles, wherewith they have beguiled you in the matter of Peor, and in the matter of Cozbi, the daughter of a prince of Midian, their sister, which was slain in the day of the plague for Peor's sake. | |||
