| ☞출1:1 | 그때 이집트로 들어간 이스라엘의 자손들의 이름들은 이러하니, 모든 남자와 그의 가족이 야곱과 함께 왔더라. Now these are the names of the children of Israel, which came into Egypt; every man and his household came with Jacob. | |||
| ☞출1:2 | 르우벤과 시므온과 레위와 유다요 Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, | |||
| ☞출1:3 | 잇사칼과 스불룬과 베냐민이요 Issachar, Zebulun, and Benjamin, | |||
| ☞출1:4 | 단과 납탈리와 갓과 아셀이니 Dan, and Naphtali, Gad, and Asher. | |||
| ☞출1:5 | 야곱의 허리에서 나온 모든 사람들이 칠십 명이었는데, 요셉은 이집트에 있었더라. And all the souls that came out of the loins of Jacob were seventy souls： for Joseph was in Egypt already. | |||
| ☞출1:6 | 요셉이 죽고 그의 모든 형제들과 당대의 사람들도 모두 죽었더라. And Joseph died, and all his brethren, and all that generation. | |||
| ☞출1:7 | 이스라엘 자손들은 다산하고 풍성하게 번식하며, 번성하고 심히 막강해져서 그 땅이 그들로 가득 찼더라. And the children of Israel were fruitful, and increased abundantly, and multiplied, and waxed exceeding mighty; and the land was filled with them. | |||
| ☞출1:8 | 그때 요셉을 모르는 새 왕이 일어나서 이집트를 다스리는데 Now there arose up a new king over Egypt, which knew not Joseph. | |||
| ☞출1:9 | 그가 그의 백성들에게 말하기를 "보라, 이스라엘 자손의 백성이 우리보다 더 많고 더 강하도다. And he said unto his people, Behold, the people of the children of Israel are more and mightier than we： | |||
| ☞출1:10 | 오라, 그들을 지혜롭게 다루자. 그들이 번성하면 전쟁이 일어날 때 그들도 우리의 원수들과 합세하여 우리를 대적하여 싸우고 이 땅에서 나갈까 하노라." 하더라. Come on, let us deal wisely with them; lest they multiply, and it come to pass, that, when there falleth out any war, they join also unto our enemies, and fight against us, and so get them up out of the land. | |||
| ☞출1:11 | 그리하여 그들이 이스라엘 백성들을 관장할 공사 감독자들을 세우고 무거운 짐을 지워 그들을 괴롭히니라. 그들은 파라오를 위하여 국고 성읍들로 비돔과 라암셋을 건축하더라. Therefore they did set over them taskmasters to afflict them with their burdens. And they built for Pharaoh treasure cities, Pithom and Raamses. | |||
| ☞출1:12 | 그러나 그들이 이스라엘 백성들을 괴롭힐수록 그들은 더욱더 번성하고 늘어나니, 그들이 이스라엘 자손들로 인하여 괴로워하더라. But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. And they were grieved because of the children of Israel. | |||
| ☞출1:13 | 이집트인들이 이스라엘 자손들로 엄격하게 섬기게 하여 And the Egyptians made the children of Israel to serve with rigour： | |||
| ☞출1:14 | 그들의 생활을 고된 노예생활, 즉 흙 이기는 일과 벽돌 만드는 일과 들에서 섬기는 모든 일에서 더욱 힘들게 하더라. 그들이 이스라엘 백성들로 섬기도록 하는 모든 일이 엄격하더라. And they made their lives bitter with hard bondage, in morter, and in brick, and in all manner of service in the field： all their service, wherein they made them serve, was with rigour. | |||
| ☞출1:15 | 이집트 왕이 히브리 산파들에게 말하니, 한 사람의 이름은 시브라이고 또 한 사람의 이름은 푸아인데 And the king of Egypt spake to the Hebrew midwives, of which the name of the one was Shiphrah, and the name of the other Puah： | |||
| ☞출1:16 | 그가 말하기를 "너희가 히브리 여인들에게 산파 일을 수행할 때 출산대 위에 있는 아이들을 살펴 아들이거든 죽이고 딸이거든 살려 주라." 하더라. And he said, When ye do the office of a midwife to the Hebrew women, and see them upon the stools; if it be a son, then ye shall kill him： but if it be a daughter, then she shall live. | |||
| ☞출1:17 | 그러나 그 산파들은 하나님을 두려워하여 이집트 왕이 그들에게 명령한 대로 하지 않고 사내 아이들을 살려 주었더라. But the midwives feared God, and did not as the king of Egypt commanded them, but saved the men children alive. | |||
| ☞출1:18 | 이에 이집트 왕이 그 산파들을 불러 말하기를 "너희가 어찌 이같이 행하여 사내 아이들을 살려 주었느냐?" 하니 And the king of Egypt called for the midwives, and said unto them, Why have ye done this thing, and have saved the men children alive? | |||
| ☞출1:19 | 그 산파들이 파라오에게 말하기를 "히브리 여인들은 이집트 여인들과 같지 않고 건강하여 산파가 그들에게 도착하기 전에 해산하나이다." 하더라. And the midwives said unto Pharaoh, Because the Hebrew women are not as the Egyptian women; for they are lively, and are delivered ere the midwives come in unto them. | |||
| ☞출1:20 | 그러므로 하나님께서 그 산파들을 선히 대하셨으며, 백성들은 번성하고 매우 강성해지더라. Therefore God dealt well with the midwives： and the people multiplied, and waxed very mighty. | |||
| ☞출1:21 | 산파들이 하나님을 두려워하였으므로 그 분께서 그들의 집안을 융성케 하셨더라. And it came to pass, because the midwives feared God, that he made them houses. | |||
| ☞출1:22 | 그러나 파라오는 그의 모든 백성에게 명하여 말하기를 "태어난 아들은 다 강에다 버리고 딸은 다 살려 주라." 하더라. And Pharaoh charged all his people, saying, Every son that is born ye shall cast into the river, and every daughter ye shall save alive. | |||
