| ☞출17:1 | 이스라엘 자손의 모든 회중이 신 광야로부터 그들의 여정에 따라 이동하였고 주의 명령에 따라 르피딤에 장막을 쳤으나 백성이 마실 물이 전혀 없더라. And all the congregation of the children of Israel journeyed from the wilderness of Sin, after their journeys, according to the commandment of the LORD, and pitched in Rephidim： and there was no water for the people to drink. | |||
| ☞출17:2 | 그러므로 백성이 모세와 다투며 말하기를 "우리에게 마실 물을 달라." 하니, 모세가 그들에게 말하기를 "어찌하여 너희가 나와 다투느냐? 어찌하여 너희가 주를 시험하느냐?" 하더라. Wherefore the people did chide with Moses, and said, Give us water that we may drink. And Moses said unto them, Why chide ye with me? wherefore do ye tempt the LORD? | |||
| ☞출17:3 | 백성이 거기서 물이 없어 갈증을 느끼니 백성이 모세에게 대항하며 불평하여 말하기를 "어찌하여 네가 이집트에서 우리를 데리고 나와서 우리와 우리 자녀와 우리의 가축을 목말라 죽게 하느냐?" 하더라. And the people thirsted there for water; and the people murmured against Moses, and said, Wherefore is this that thou hast brought us up out of Egypt, to kill us and our children and our cattle with thirst? | |||
| ☞출17:4 | 모세가 주께 부르짖어 말하기를 "내가 이 백성들에게 어떻게 하리이까? 그들이 곧 내게 돌을 던지려고 하나이다." 하니 And Moses cried unto the LORD, saying, What shall I do unto this people? they be almost ready to stone me. | |||
| ☞출17:5 | 주께서 모세에게 말씀하시기를 "백성 앞을 지나가서 이스라엘의 장로들을 데리고 강을 쳤던 네 막대기를 손에 잡고 가라. And the LORD said unto Moses, Go on before the people, and take with thee of the elders of Israel; and thy rod, wherewith thou smotest the river, take in thine hand, and go. | |||
| ☞출17:6 | 보라, 내가 거기 호렙에 있는 반석 위에서 네 앞에 서리니 너는 그 반석을 치라. 그러면 그 곳에서 물이 나오리니 백성이 마시리라." 하시니, 모세가 이스라엘의 장로들 앞에서 그렇게 행하니라. Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb; and thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel. | |||
| ☞출17:7 | 그가 그 곳의 이름을 맛사와 므리바라 불렀으니, 이는 이스라엘 자손이 다투었기 때문이요, 이는 그들이 주를 시험하여 말하기를 "주께서 우리 가운데 계신가 안계신가?" 하였기 때문이라. And he called the name of the place Massah, and Meribah, because of the chiding of the children of Israel, and because they tempted the LORD, saying, Is the LORD among us, or not? | |||
| ☞출17:8 | 그때에 아말렉이 와서 르피딤에서 이스라엘과 싸우니라. Then came Amalek, and fought with Israel in Rephidim. | |||
| ☞출17:9 | 모세가 여호수아에게 말하기를 "우리에게서 남자들을 택하여 나가서 아말렉과 싸우라. 내일 내가 하나님의 막대기를 내 손에 들고 산 정상에 서리라." 하니라. And Moses said unto Joshua, Choose us out men, and go out, fight with Amalek： to morrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in mine hand. | |||
| ☞출17:10 | 그러므로 여호수아는 모세가 자기에게 말한 대로 행하여 아말렉과 싸웠고 모세와 아론과 훌은 산 정상으로 올라갔으니 So Joshua did as Moses had said to him, and fought with Amalek： and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill. | |||
| ☞출17:11 | 모세가 자기 손을 들면 이스라엘이 이기고 그가 손을 내리면 아말렉이 이기더라. And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed： and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed. | |||
| ☞출17:12 | 그러나 모세가 손이 무거워지니 그들이 돌을 가져다가 모세 아래다 놓더라. 그가 그 위에 앉자 아론과 훌이 하나는 이편에서 하나는 저편에서 모세의 손을 붙들어 그의 손이 해가 질 때까지 그대로 있더라. But Moses hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun. | |||
| ☞출17:13 | 여호수아가 칼날로 아말렉과 그의 백성을 쳐부수니라. And Joshua discomfited Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword. | |||
| ☞출17:14 | 주께서 모세에게 말씀하시기를 "이것을 책에 기록하여 기념하게 하고 여호수아의 귀에 되풀이해서 들려 주라. 이는 내가 하늘 아래에서 아말렉의 기억을 완전히 없앨 것임이라." 하시니라. And the LORD said unto Moses, Write this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua： for I will utterly put out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven. | |||
| ☞출17:15 | 모세가 제단을 쌓고 그것의 이름을 여호와 닛시라 부르고 And Moses built an altar, and called the name of it Jehovahnissi： | |||
| ☞출17:16 | 말하기를 "이는 주께서 대대로 아말렉과 싸우리라고 주께서 맹세하셨기 때문이라." 하더라. For he said, Because the LORD hath sworn that the LORD will have war with Amalek from generation to generation. | |||
