| ☞창40:1 | 그 후에 이집트 왕의 술 맡은 자와 빵 굽는 자가 그들의 군주 이집트 왕에게 범죄한지라 And it came to pass after these things, that the butler of the king of Egypt and his baker had offended their lord the king of Egypt. | |||
| ☞창40:2 | 파라오가 그의 두 관리, 즉 술 맡은 책임자와 빵 굽는 책임자에게 노하여 And Pharaoh was wroth against two of his officers, against the chief of the butlers, and against the chief of the bakers. | |||
| ☞창40:3 | 그들을 경호대장의 집에 있는 철창에 넣었으니, 그곳은 감옥, 곧 요셉이 갇힌 곳이더라. And he put them in ward in the house of the captain of the guard, into the prison, the place where Joseph was bound. | |||
| ☞창40:4 | 경호대장이 요셉으로 그들과 함께 있게 하였으니 그가 그들을 섬겼더라. 그들이 철창에 한동안 계속해서 갇혀 있더라. And the captain of the guard charged Joseph with them, and he served them： and they continued a season in ward. | |||
| ☞창40:5 | 감옥에 갇혀 있는 이집트 왕의 술 맡은 자와 빵 굽는 자 두 사람이 다 꿈을 꾸었는데 각자가 한 밤에 꾼 꿈의 해석이 각각이더라. And they dreamed a dream both of them, each man his dream in one night, each man according to the interpretation of his dream, the butler and the baker of the king of Egypt, which were bound in the prison. | |||
| ☞창40:6 | 요셉이 아침에 그들에게 들어가서 그들을 보니, 보라, 그들이 슬퍼하는 기색이더라. And Joseph came in unto them in the morning, and looked upon them, and, behold, they were sad. | |||
| ☞창40:7 | 요셉이 자기 주인 집의 철창에 자기와 함께 갇혀 있는 파라오의 관리들에게 물어 말하기를 "어찌하여 오늘은 그처럼 슬퍼 보이나이까?" 하니 And he asked Pharaoh's officers that were with him in the ward of his lord's house, saying, Wherefore look ye so sadly to day? | |||
| ☞창40:8 | 그들이 그에게 말하기를 "우리가 꿈을 꾸었으나 그 꿈을 해석할 자가 없도다." 하니, 요셉이 그들에게 말하기를 "그 해석은 하나님께 속하지 아니하나이까? 내가 당신들에게 청하오니 내게 이야기하소서." 하더라. And they said unto him, We have dreamed a dream, and there is no interpreter of it. And Joseph said unto them, Do not interpretations belong to God? tell me them, I pray you. | |||
| ☞창40:9 | 술 맡은 책임자가 자기 꿈을 요셉에게 이야기하였는데 말하기를 "보라, 내 꿈에 내 앞에 포도나무가 있는데 And the chief butler told his dream to Joseph, and said to him, In my dream, behold, a vine was before me; | |||
| ☞창40:10 | 그 포도나무에 세 가지가 있고 싹이 나는 것 같았는데 꽃이 피고 그 포도송이에 익은 포도가 열렸더라. And in the vine were three branches： and it was as though it budded, and her blossoms shot forth; and the clusters thereof brought forth ripe grapes： | |||
| ☞창40:11 | 파라오의 잔이 내 손에 있어 내가 포도를 따서 파라오의 잔에다 즙을 짜서 그 잔을 파라오의 손에다 주었노라." 하니 And Pharaoh's cup was in my hand： and I took the grapes, and pressed them into Pharaoh's cup, and I gave the cup into Pharaoh's hand. | |||
| ☞창40:12 | 요셉이 그에게 말하기를 "그것의 해석이 이러하니, 그 세 가지는 삼 일이라. And Joseph said unto him, This is the interpretation of it： The three branches are three days： | |||
| ☞창40:13 | 이제부터 삼 일 안에 파라오가 당신의 머리를 들어올려서 당신의 자리를 회복시키리니, 당신이 전에 그의 술 맡은 자였을 때 했던 대로 당신은 파라오의 손에 그의 잔을 건네주리이다. Yet within three days shall Pharaoh lift up thine head, and restore thee unto thy place： and thou shalt deliver Pharaoh's cup into his hand, after the former manner when thou wast his butler. | |||
| ☞창40:14 | 그러나 일이 잘되거든 나를 생각하고, 내가 당신에게 부탁하오니, 나에게 친절을 베풀어서 나에 대해 파라오에게 고하여 나를 이 집에서 나가게 하소서. But think on me when it shall be well with thee, and shew kindness, I pray thee, unto me, and make mention of me unto Pharaoh, and bring me out of this house： | |||
| ☞창40:15 | 나는 진정으로 히브리인들의 땅에서 남몰래 끌려온 자요, 여기서도 그들이 나를 감옥에 넣을 만한 일을 내가 한 적이 없나이다." 하더라. For indeed I was stolen away out of the land of the Hebrews： and here also have I done nothing that they should put me into the dungeon. | |||
| ☞창40:16 | 빵 굽는 책임자가 그 해석이 좋은 것을 보고 요셉에게 말하기를 "나도 꿈을 꾸었는데, 보라, 내 머리 위에 흰 광주리 세 개가 있고 When the chief baker saw that the interpretation was good, he said unto Joseph, I also was in my dream, and, behold, I had three white baskets on my head： | |||
| ☞창40:17 | 맨 위에 있는 광주리에 파라오를 위하여 만든 여러 가지 구운 음식이 있는데 새들이 내 머리 위에 있는 광주리에서 그것들을 먹더라." 하니 And in the uppermost basket there was of all manner of bakemeats for Pharaoh; and the birds did eat them out of the basket upon my head. | |||
| ☞창40:18 | 요셉이 대답하여 말하기를 "그 해석이 이러하니라. 세 광주리는 삼 일이라. And Joseph answered and said, This is the interpretation thereof： The three baskets are three days： | |||
| ☞창40:19 | 이제부터 삼 일 안에 파라오가 당신의 머리를 끊어서 들어올릴 것이요, 당신을 나무에다 매달리니, 새들이 당신의 살을 뜯어 먹으리이다." 하더라. Yet within three days shall Pharaoh lift up thy head from off thee, and shall hang thee on a tree; and the birds shall eat thy flesh from off thee. | |||
| ☞창40:20 | 삼일째 되던 날은 파라오의 생일이었으므로 그가 그의 모든 신하들에게 잔치를 벌였는데 그의 신하들 가운데서 술 맡은 책임자와 빵 굽는 책임자의 머리를 들어서 And it came to pass the third day, which was Pharaoh's birthday, that he made a feast unto all his servants： and he lifted up the head of the chief butler and of the chief baker among his servants. | |||
| ☞창40:21 | 술 맡은 책임자는 그 술 맡은 직책을 회복시키니, 그가 파라오의 손에다 잔을 건네주더라. And he restored the chief butler unto his butlership again; and he gave the cup into Pharaoh's hand： | |||
| ☞창40:22 | 그러나 파라오가 빵 굽는 책임자는 매어 달았더라. 요셉이 그들에게 해석했던 것과 같았으나 But he hanged the chief baker： as Joseph had interpreted to them. | |||
| ☞창40:23 | 술 맡은 책임자는 요셉을 기억하지 못하고 그를 잊어 버렸더라. Yet did not the chief butler remember Joseph, but forgat him. | |||
