| ☞삼상8:1 | 사무엘이 늙으니, 그가 그의 아들들로 이스라엘을 다스리는 재판관들을 삼으니라. And it came to pass, when Samuel was old, that he made his sons judges over Israel. | |||
| ☞삼상8:2 | 그의 맏아들의 이름은 요엘이고 그의 둘째 아들의 이름은 아비야이며, 그들이 브엘세바에서 재판관이 되었는데 Now the name of his firstborn was Joel; and the name of his second, Abiah： they were judges in Beersheba. | |||
| ☞삼상8:3 | 그의 아들들이 그의 법도대로 행하지 아니하고 이익을 따라 뇌물을 취하며 잘못된 재판을 하더라. And his sons walked not in his ways, but turned aside after lucre, and took bribes, and perverted judgment. | |||
| ☞삼상8:4 | 그러므로 이스라엘의 모든 장로들이 모여 라마에 이르러 사무엘에게 와서 Then all the elders of Israel gathered themselves together, and came to Samuel unto Ramah, | |||
| ☞삼상8:5 | 그에게 말하기를 "보소서, 당신은 늙고 당신의 아들들은 당신의 법도대로 행하지 아니하니, 이제 모든 민족들처럼 우리에게 왕을 세워 우리를 다스리게 하소서." 하더라. And said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways： now make us a king to judge us like all the nations. | |||
| ☞삼상8:6 | 그러나 그들이 "우리를 다스릴 왕을 우리에게 주소서."라고 말한 그 일이 사무엘을 기쁘게 하지 아니한지라, 사무엘이 주께 기도하였더니 But the thing displeased Samuel, when they said, Give us a king to judge us. And Samuel prayed unto the LORD. | |||
| ☞삼상8:7 | 주께서 사무엘에게 말씀하시기를 "백성이 네게 말하는 모든 일에 있어서 그들의 음성을 들으라. 그들이 너를 거역함이 아니요, 나를 거역하여 나로 그들을 다스리지 못하게 하려는 것이라. And the LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee： for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them. | |||
| ☞삼상8:8 | 내가 그들을 이집트에서 인도하여 낸 그 날부터 오늘에 이르기까지 그들이 행한 모든 일, 즉 그들이 나를 버리고 다른 신들을 섬기더니 네게도 그렇게 행하는도다. According to all the works which they have done since the day that I brought them up out of Egypt even unto this day, wherewith they have forsaken me, and served other gods, so do they also unto thee. | |||
| ☞삼상8:9 | 그러므로 이제 그들의 음성을 들으라. 그러나 아직은 그들에게 엄숙히 경고하고, 그들을 치리할 왕의 제도를 그들로 알게 하라."고 하시니라. Now therefore hearken unto their voice： howbeit yet protest solemnly unto them, and shew them the manner of the king that shall reign over them. | |||
| ☞삼상8:10 | 이에 사무엘이 자기에게 왕을 요구하는 백성에게 주의 모든 말씀을 일러 And Samuel told all the words of the LORD unto the people that asked of him a king. | |||
| ☞삼상8:11 | 말하기를 "너희를 치리할 왕의 제도가 이러하리라. 그가 너희 아들들을 데려다가 자기를 위해 그의 병거에 임명하고 그의 기병이 되게 할 것이요, 일부는 그의 병거 앞에서 달리게 하리라. And he said, This will be the manner of the king that shall reign over you： He will take your sons, and appoint them for himself, for his chariots, and to be his horsemen; and some shall run before his chariots. | |||
| ☞삼상8:12 | 그가 그를 임명하여 천부장들과 오십부장들로 삼으며, 그의 땅을 경작하고 그의 수확을 거두도록 배치하며, 그의 무기들과 그의 병거의 기구들을 만들게 할 것이요 And he will appoint him captains over thousands, and captains over fifties; and will set them to ear his ground, and to reap his harvest, and to make his instruments of war, and instruments of his chariots. | |||
| ☞삼상8:13 | 그가 너희 딸들을 데려다가 향료 만드는 자와, 음식 만드는 자와, 빵 굽는 자로 만들 것이라. And he will take your daughters to be confectionaries, and to be cooks, and to be bakers. | |||
| ☞삼상8:14 | 또 그가 너희 밭과 포도원과 올리브 밭 중에서 가장 좋은 것을 취하여 자기 신하들에게 줄 것이요 And he will take your fields, and your vineyards, and your oliveyards, even the best of them, and give them to his servants. | |||
| ☞삼상8:15 | 그가 너희 곡식과 포도원에서 십일조를 취하여 자기 관원들과 신하들에게 주리라. And he will take the tenth of your seed, and of your vineyards, and give to his officers, and to his servants. | |||
| ☞삼상8:16 | 또 그가 너희의 남종과 여종과 가장 잘 생긴 청년들과 너희 나귀들을 취하여 자기의 일을 시킬 것이요 And he will take your menservants, and your maidservants, and your goodliest young men, and your asses, and put them to his work. | |||
| ☞삼상8:17 | 그가 너희 양의 십일조를 취할 것이며 너희는 그의 종이 될 것이라. He will take the tenth of your sheep： and ye shall be his servants. | |||
| ☞삼상8:18 | 또 너희는 그 날에 너희가 너희를 위하여 뽑은 너희 왕으로 인하여 부르짖을 것이나, 주께서는 그 날에 너희를 듣지 아니하시리라." 하더라. And ye shall cry out in that day because of your king which ye shall have chosen you; and the LORD will not hear you in that day. | |||
| ☞삼상8:19 | 그러나 백성이 사무엘의 음성에 복종하기를 거절하며 말하기를 "아니니이다. 그래도 우리는 우리를 다스릴 왕을 두어 Nevertheless the people refused to obey the voice of Samuel; and they said, Nay; but we will have a king over us; | |||
| ☞삼상8:20 | 우리 또한 모든 민족들과 같이 될 것이요, 우리 왕으로 우리를 다스리고 우리 앞에 나가서 우리의 싸움을 싸우도록 할 것이니이다." 하더라. That we also may be like all the nations; and that our king may judge us, and go out before us, and fight our battles. | |||
| ☞삼상8:21 | 사무엘이 백성의 말을 모두 듣고 주의 귀에 그 말들을 고하니 And Samuel heard all the words of the people, and he rehearsed them in the ears of the LORD. | |||
| ☞삼상8:22 | 주께서 사무엘에게 말씀하시기를 "그들의 음성을 듣고 그들에게 왕을 세워 주라."고 하신지라, 사무엘이 이스라엘 사람들에게 말하기를 "너희는 각자 자기 성읍으로 가라."고 하더라. And the LORD said to Samuel, Hearken unto their voice, and make them a king. And Samuel said unto the men of Israel, Go ye every man unto his city. | |||
