| ☞삼상24:1 | 사울이 필리스티아인들을 따르다가 돌아오는데, 누군가가 그에게 전하여 말하기를 "보소서, 다윗이 엔게디 광야에 있나이다." 하더라. And it came to pass, when Saul was returned from following the Philistines, that it was told him, saying, Behold, David is in the wilderness of Engedi. | |||
| ☞삼상24:2 | 그러자 사울이 온 이스라엘에서 삼천 명을 뽑아 다윗과 그의 사람들을 찾으러 들염소 바위로 가더라. Then Saul took three thousand chosen men out of all Israel, and went to seek David and his men upon the rocks of the wild goats. | |||
| ☞삼상24:3 | 그가 길가에 있는 양우리로 가니, 거기에 한 굴이 있는지라, 사울이 그의 발을 가리려고 들어갔는데, 그 굴 벽쪽에 다윗과 그의 사람들이 있었더라. And he came to the sheepcotes by the way, where was a cave; and Saul went in to cover his feet： and David and his men remained in the sides of the cave. | |||
| ☞삼상24:4 | 다윗의 사람들이 다윗에게 말하기를 "보소서, 주께서 당신에게 말씀하시기를 '보라, 내가 네 원수를 네 손에 넘겨 주어, 네게 좋은 대로 그에게 행하게 하리라.' 하신 그 날이니이다." 하더라. 그때 다윗이 일어나서 사울의 겉옷 자락을 가만히 베더라. And the men of David said unto him, Behold the day of which the LORD said unto thee, Behold, I will deliver thine enemy into thine hand, that thou mayest do to him as it shall seem good unto thee. Then David arose, and cut off the skirt of Saul's robe privily. | |||
| ☞삼상24:5 | 그런 후에 다윗이 사울의 옷자락을 벤 것으로 인하여 다윗의 마음이 그를 치니 And it came to pass afterward, that David's heart smote him, because he had cut off Saul's skirt. | |||
| ☞삼상24:6 | 다윗이 자기 사람들에게 말하기를 "주의 기름 부음 받은 이, 곧 나의 주인께 나의 손을 뻗쳐 그를 치려고 이런 일을 행하는 것은 주께서 금하신 것이라. 이는 그가 주의 기름 부음 받은 자임이라." 하더라. And he said unto his men, The LORD forbid that I should do this thing unto my master, the LORD's anointed, to stretch forth mine hand against him, seeing he is the anointed of the LORD. | |||
| ☞삼상24:7 | 그리하여 다윗이 이런 말로 그의 부하들을 가만 있게 하고 사울을 치려고 일어나는 것을 허락하지 아니하더라. 한편 사울은 일어나 굴에서 나가 자기 길을 가더라. So David stayed his servants with these words, and suffered them not to rise against Saul. But Saul rose up out of the cave, and went on his way. | |||
| ☞삼상24:8 | 다윗 또한 그 후에 일어나 굴에서 나가, 사울 뒤에서 외쳐 말하기를 "내 주 왕이여." 하는지라, 사울이 돌아보니 다윗이 땅에 엎드려 절하더라. David also arose afterward, and went out of the cave, and cried after Saul, saying, My lord the king. And when Saul looked behind him, David stooped with his face to the earth, and bowed himself. | |||
| ☞삼상24:9 | 그리고 다윗이 사울에게 말하기를 "어찌하여 왕은 '보소서, 다윗이 왕을 해치려 하나이다.'라고 하는 사람들의 말을 들으시나이까? And David said to Saul, Wherefore hearest thou men's words, saying, Behold, David seeketh thy hurt? | |||
| ☞삼상24:10 | 보소서, 오늘 어떻게 주께서 굴 속에서 왕을 내 손에 넘겨주셨는가를 왕의 눈으로 보셨나이다. 누군가가 나에게 왕을 죽이라고 하였으나, 내가 말하기를 '나는 내 주를 대적하여 내 손을 대지 아니하리니, 이는 그가 주의 기름 부음 받은 자임이라.' 하였나이다. Behold, this day thine eyes have seen how that the LORD had delivered thee to day into mine hand in the cave： and some bade me kill thee： but mine eye spared thee; and I said, I will not put forth mine hand against my lord; for he is the LORD's anointed. | |||
| ☞삼상24:11 | 더욱이, 내 아버지여, 보소서, 정녕 보소서, 왕의 겉옷 자락이 내 손에 있나이다. 내가 왕을 죽이지 아니하고 왕의 겉옷 자락만 베었나니, 이것으로 왕께서는 내 손에 악이나 죄악이 없는 것과 내가 왕을 거역하여 죄를 짓지 아니하였음을 알고 또 보소서. 그런데도 왕께서는 내 생명을 찾아 취하려 하시나이다. Moreover, my father, see, yea, see the skirt of thy robe in my hand： for in that I cut off the skirt of thy robe, and killed thee not, know thou and see that there is neither evil nor transgression in mine hand, and I have not sinned against thee; yet thou huntest my soul to take it. | |||
| ☞삼상24:12 | 주께서 나와 왕 사이를 판단하시고, 주께서 나를 위하여 왕에게 보복하시기를 원하나, 내 손으로는 왕을 해치지 아니하리이다. The LORD judge between me and thee, and the LORD avenge me of thee： but mine hand shall not be upon thee. | |||
| ☞삼상24:13 | 옛 사람들의 잠언에 '악은 악인에게서 난다.' 하듯이, 내 손이 왕을 해치지 아니하리이다. As saith the proverb of the ancients, Wickedness proceedeth from the wicked： but mine hand shall not be upon thee. | |||
| ☞삼상24:14 | 이스라엘의 왕께서 누구를 쫓아 나오시나이까? 왕께서 누구를 추격하시나이까? 죽은 개 한 마리와 벼룩 한 마리니이다. After whom is the king of Israel come out? after whom dost thou pursue? after a dead dog, after a flea. | |||
| ☞삼상24:15 | 그러므로 주께서 재판장이 되어 나와 왕 사이를 판단하시어 나의 사정을 옹호하시고 왕의 손에서 나를 구해 주시기를 원하나이다." 하더라. The LORD therefore be judge, and judge between me and thee, and see, and plead my cause, and deliver me out of thine hand. | |||
| ☞삼상24:16 | 다윗이 사울에게 이렇게 말하기를 마치니, 사울이 말하기를 "내 아들 다윗아, 이것이 네 음성이냐?" 하고 사울이 소리 높여 울더라. And it came to pass, when David had made an end of speaking these words unto Saul, that Saul said, Is this thy voice, my son David? And Saul lifted up his voice, and wept. | |||
| ☞삼상24:17 | 그가 다윗에게 말하기를 "네가 나보다 의롭도다. 이는 내가 네게 악으로 갚았어도 너는 내게 선으로 갚았기 때문이라. And he said to David, Thou art more righteous than I： for thou hast rewarded me good, whereas I have rewarded thee evil. | |||
| ☞삼상24:18 | 네가 얼마나 나를 선대하였는지 네가 오늘 나에게 보여 주었도다. 주께서 나를 네 손에 넘겨주셨는데도 네가 나를 죽이지 아니하였도다. And thou hast shewed this day how that thou hast dealt well with me： forasmuch as when the LORD had delivered me into thine hand, thou killedst me not. | |||
| ☞삼상24:19 | 어떤 사람이 그의 원수를 만나면 그를 무사히 가게 하겠느냐? 그러므로 네가 오늘 내게 행한 그 일로 인하여 주께서 네게 선으로 갚으시기를 원하노라. For if a man find his enemy, will he let him go well away? wherefore the LORD reward thee good for that thou hast done unto me this day. | |||
| ☞삼상24:20 | 이제 보라, 나는 네가 반드시 왕이 될 것과 이스라엘 왕국이 네 손에서 견고히 설 것을 잘 아노라. And now, behold, I know well that thou shalt surely be king, and that the kingdom of Israel shall be established in thine hand. | |||
| ☞삼상24:21 | 그러므로 이제 너는 내 뒤로 내 씨를 끊지 아니하고, 내 아버지의 집에서 내 이름을 멸하지 아니하겠다고 내게 주로 맹세하라." 하니 Swear now therefore unto me by the LORD, that thou wilt not cut off my seed after me, and that thou wilt not destroy my name out of my father's house. | |||
| ☞삼상24:22 | 다윗이 사울에게 맹세하더라. 이에 사울은 집으로 가고, 다윗과 그의 사람들은 요새로 올라가니라. And David sware unto Saul. And Saul went home; but David and his men gat them up unto the hold. | |||
