☞삼상2:1 한나가 기도하고 말하기를 "내 마음이 주 안에서 기뻐하며, 내 뿔이 주 안에서 높아졌도다. 내 입이 내 원수들 위에 크게 벌어졌으니, 이는 내가 주의 구원을 기뻐함이니이다.
And Hannah prayed, and said, My heart rejoiceth in the LORD, mine horn is exalted in the LORD： my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in thy salvation.
☞삼상2:2 주와 같이 거룩하신 분은 없나니, 이는 주 밖에 다른 이가 없고 우리 하나님과 같은 어떤 반석도 없음이니이다.
There is none holy as the LORD： for there is none beside thee： neither is there any rock like our God.
☞삼상2:3 다시는 그처럼 심히 교만하게 말하지 말고 너희 입에서 오만이 나오지 못하게 할지니, 이는 주께서 지식의 하나님이시며 행동들이 그 분에 의하여 저울질되기 때문이라.
Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth： for the LORD is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed.
☞삼상2:4 용사들의 화살은 부러졌으나, 넘어진 자는 힘으로 띠를 두르도다.
The bows of the mighty men are broken, and they that stumbled are girded with strength.
☞삼상2:5 풍족하던 자들이 빵을 위하여 품을 팔고, 굶주리던 자들이 그쳤도다. 그와 같이 잉태치 못하던 여인은 일곱을 낳았고, 많은 자식을 둔 여인은 쇠약해졌도다.
They that were full have hired out themselves for bread; and they that were hungry ceased： so that the barren hath born seven; and she that hath many children is waxed feeble.
☞삼상2:6 주께서는 죽이기도 하시며, 살리기도 하시고, 음부로 끌어 내리기도 하시며, 끌어 올리기도 하시는도다.
The LORD killeth, and maketh alive： he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up.
☞삼상2:7 주께서는 가난하게도 하시며, 부하게도 하시고, 낮추기도 하시며, 높이기도 하시는도다.
The LORD maketh poor, and maketh rich： he bringeth low, and lifteth up.
☞삼상2:8 주께서는 가난한 자를 티끌에서 일으켜 세우시며, 거지를 퇴비더미에서 높이 들어 통치자들 사이에 앉히시고 그들로 영광의 보좌를 이어받게 하시나니, 이는 땅의 기둥들이 주의 것임이요, 또 주께서 세상을 그것들 위에 세우셨음이라.
He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory： for the pillars of the earth are the LORD's, and he hath set the world upon them.
☞삼상2:9 주께서는 주의 성도들의 발을 지키실 것이며, 악인들은 흑암 속에서 조용해질 것이니 힘으로는 주를 이길 사람이 없음이라.
He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail.
☞삼상2:10 주의 대적들은 산산이 부서질 것이요, 주께서는 하늘에서 그들 위에 천둥을 일으키시리라. 주께서 땅 끝까지 심판하실 것이나, 그의 왕에게는 힘을 주시고 주의 기름 부음받은 이의 뿔은 높이시리로다." 하더라.
The adversaries of the LORD shall be broken to pieces; out of heaven shall he thunder upon them： the LORD shall judge the ends of the earth; and he shall give strength unto his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed.
☞삼상2:11 그 후에 엘카나는 라마의 자기 집으로 돌아가고, 그 아이는 제사장 엘리 앞에서 주를 섬기니라.
And Elkanah went to Ramah to his house. And the child did minister unto the LORD before Eli the priest.
☞삼상2:12 한편 엘리의 아들들은 벨리알의 아들들이라, 그들은 주를 알지 못하더라.
Now the sons of Eli were sons of Belial; they knew not the LORD.
☞삼상2:13 그 제사장들이 백성에게 행하는 관습이 이러하니, 어떤 사람이 희생제를 드리면 고기가 삶아지는 동안 제사장의 종이 세 살 갈고리를 손에 들고 와서
And the priest's custom with the people was, that, when any man offered sacrifice, the priest's servant came, while the flesh was in seething, with a fleshhook of three teeth in his hand;
☞삼상2:14 그것을 남비나 들통, 큰 솥이나 솥 안으로 찔러 넣어, 갈고리에 걸려 나오는 것은 모두 제사장이 자기 것으로 취하더라. 그들이 실로에서 그 곳에 온 모든 이스라엘인들에게 그렇게 행하더라.
And he struck it into the pan, or kettle, or caldron, or pot; all that the fleshhook brought up the priest took for himself. So they did in Shiloh unto all the Israelites that came thither.
☞삼상2:15 또한 그들이 기름을 태우기 전에 제사장의 종이 와서 제사드리는 사람에게 말하기를 "제사장을 위하여 구울 고기를 달라. 그가 삶은 고기를 원치 아니하시고 날고기를 원하신다." 하였으며
Also before they burnt the fat, the priest's servant came, and said to the man that sacrificed, Give flesh to roast for the priest; for he will not have sodden flesh of thee, but raw.
☞삼상2:16 만일 그 사람이 그 종에게 말하기를 "사람들로 기름을 반드시 지금 태우도록 하고, 그 다음에 네 혼이 원하는 만큼 가져가라." 하면 그가 대답하기를 "아니라. 당장 그것을 내게 달라. 그렇지 아니하면 내가 강제로 빼앗아가리라." 하더라.
And if any man said unto him, Let them not fail to burn the fat presently, and then take as much as thy soul desireth; then he would answer him, Nay; but thou shalt give it me now： and if not, I will take it by force.
☞삼상2:17 그러므로 이 젊은이들의 죄가 주 앞에 심히 컸으니, 이는 그들이 주께 드리는 제물을 멸시함이라.
Wherefore the sin of the young men was very great before the LORD： for men abhorred the offering of the LORD.
☞삼상2:18 그러나 사무엘은 아이였을 때 세마포 에봇을 입고 주 앞에서 섬겼더라.
But Samuel ministered before the LORD, being a child, girded with a linen ephod.
☞삼상2:19 또한 그의 어머니가 그에게 작은 겉옷을 만들어 매년 그녀가 남편과 함께 해마다 드리는 희생제를 드리러 올 때 그에게 가져다 주더라.
Moreover his mother made him a little coat, and brought it to him from year to year, when she came up with her husband to offer the yearly sacrifice.
☞삼상2:20 엘리가 엘카나와 그의 아내를 축복하고 말하기를 "주께서 너에게 이 여인의 씨를 주사 주께 빌려 드린 것을 대신하기 원하노라." 하더라. 그들이 자기 집으로 가니라.
And Eli blessed Elkanah and his wife, and said, The LORD give thee seed of this woman for the loan which is lent to the LORD. And they went unto their own home.
☞삼상2:21 주께서 한나를 돌아보시므로 그녀가 임신하여 세 아들과 두 딸을 낳았더라. 한편 아이 사무엘은 주 앞에서 자라더라.
And the LORD visited Hannah, so that she conceived, and bare three sons and two daughters. And the child Samuel grew before the LORD.
☞삼상2:22 엘리가 심히 늙었는데, 그가 그의 아들들이 온 이스라엘에게 행한 모든 일과 회중의 성막 문에 모인 여인들과 동침했다는 것을 듣고
Now Eli was very old, and heard all that his sons did unto all Israel; and how they lay with the women that assembled at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
☞삼상2:23 그들에게 말하기를 "어찌하여 너희가 그런 짓을 하였느냐? 내가 너희의 악한 행실들을 이 온 백성에게 듣노라.
And he said unto them, Why do ye such things? for I hear of your evil dealings by all this people.
☞삼상2:24 내 아들들아, 그리 말라. 내가 좋지 않은 소문을 듣나니, 너희가 주의 백성으로 범죄케 하는도다.
Nay, my sons; for it is no good report that I hear： ye make the LORD's people to transgress.
☞삼상2:25 한 사람이 다른 사람에게 죄를 지으면 재판관이 그를 판단할 것이나, 사람이 주를 거역하여 죄를 지으면 누가 그를 위하여 간청하겠느냐?" 하였으나 그래도 그들이 자기 아버지의 음성을 경청하지 아니하였으니, 이는 주께서 그들을 죽이고자 하심이었더라.
If one man sin against another, the judge shall judge him： but if a man sin against the LORD, who shall intreat for him? Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto the voice of their father, because the LORD would slay them.
☞삼상2:26 아이 사무엘이 점점 자라면서 주와 사람들에게 모두 사랑을 받더라.
And the child Samuel grew on, and was in favour both with the LORD, and also with men.
☞삼상2:27 하나님의 사람이 엘리에게 와서 말하기를 "주께서 이같이 말씀하시느니라. 그들이 이집트에서 파라오의 집에 있었을 때 내가 분명히 네 조상의 집에 나타나지 않았느냐?
And there came a man of God unto Eli, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Did I plainly appear unto the house of thy father, when they were in Egypt in Pharaoh's house?
☞삼상2:28 내가 그를 이스라엘 온 지파 중에서 내 제사장으로 택하여 내 제단에 제사를 드리고 분향하며 내 앞에서 에봇을 입게 하지 않았느냐? 또 내가 이스라엘 자손이 불로 만든 모든 제사를 네 조상 집에 주지 아니하였느냐?
And did I choose him out of all the tribes of Israel to be my priest, to offer upon mine altar, to burn incense, to wear an ephod before me? and did I give unto the house of thy father all the offerings made by fire of the children of Israel?
☞삼상2:29 어찌하여 너희는 내가 내 처소에서 명령한 내 희생제물과 내 제물을 차버리며, 네 자식들을 나보다 더 높여 내 백성 이스라엘의 모든 제물 중에서 가장 좋은 것으로 너희 자신을 살찌우느냐?
Wherefore kick ye at my sacrifice and at mine offering, which I have commanded in my habitation; and honourest thy sons above me, to make yourselves fat with the chiefest of all the offerings of Israel my people?
☞삼상2:30 그러므로 이스라엘의 주 하나님이 말하노라. 내가 참으로 네 집과 네 조상의 집이 내 앞에서 영원히 행하리라고 말하였으나, 이제 주가 말하노니, 결코 그렇게 하지 아니하리라. 나를 존중하는 자들을 내가 존중하고 나를 멸시하는 자들을 내가 소홀히 여기리라.
Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever： but now the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.
☞삼상2:31 보라, 그 날들이 이르리니, 내가 네 팔과 네 조상의 집의 팔을 끊어 네 집에 노인이 없게 하리라.
Behold, the days come, that I will cut off thine arm, and the arm of thy father's house, that there shall not be an old man in thine house.
☞삼상2:32 너는 하나님께서 이스라엘에게 주실 모든 재물 가운데, 내 처소에서 한 원수를 볼 것이요, 네 집에는 영원히 노인이 없으리라.
And thou shalt see an enemy in my habitation, in all the wealth which God shall give Israel： and there shall not be an old man in thine house for ever.
☞삼상2:33 내가 내 제단으로부터 끊어 버리지 아니할 너의 사람이 네 눈을 쇠잔케 할 것이며 네 마음을 슬프게 할 것이라. 네 집에서 자라나는 모든 자가 젊어서 죽으리라.
And the man of thine, whom I shall not cut off from mine altar, shall be to consume thine eyes, and to grieve thine heart： and all the increase of thine house shall die in the flower of their age.
☞삼상2:34 이것이 너에게 표적이 되어 네 두 아들 홉니와 피느하스에게 닥치리니, 한 날에 그들이 둘 다 죽으리라.
And this shall be a sign unto thee, that shall come upon thy two sons, on Hophni and Phinehas; in one day they shall die both of them.
☞삼상2:35 그리고 내가 한 신실한 제사장을 일으키리니, 그가 내 마음과 내 뜻대로 행할 것이라. 내가 그에게 견고한 집을 지어 주리니, 그가 나의 기름 부음 받은 자 앞에서 영원히 행하리라.
And I will raise me up a faithful priest, that shall do according to that which is in mine heart and in my mind： and I will build him a sure house; and he shall walk before mine anointed for ever.
☞삼상2:36 네 집에 남은 자는 모두 와서 그에게 굽실거리며, 은 한 개와 빵 한 조각을 위하여 말하기를 '내가 청하오니, 나에게 제사장 직분 중 하나를 맡겨 나로 빵 한 조각을 먹게 하소서.' 하리라." 하더라.
And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left in thine house shall come and crouch to him for a piece of silver and a morsel of bread, and shall say, Put me, I pray thee, into one of the priests' offices, that I may eat a piece of bread.
