| ☞삼상27:1 | 다윗이 그의 마음에 말하기를 '언젠가는 내가 사울의 손에 멸망하리라. 필리스티아인들의 땅으로 속히 피하는 것보다 내게 더 나은 것이 없도다. 그러면 사울이 이스라엘의 모든 지경에서 나를 더 찾으려 해도 나로 인하여 절망하리라. 그리하여 내가 그의 손에서 피하리라.' 하고 And David said in his heart, I shall now perish one day by the hand of Saul： there is nothing better for me than that I should speedily escape into the land of the Philistines; and Saul shall despair of me, to seek me any more in any coast of Israel： so shall I escape out of his hand. | |||
| ☞삼상27:2 | 다윗이 일어나 자기와 함께 있는 육백 명과 함께 마옥의 아들 가드 왕 아키스에게로 건너가니라. And David arose, and he passed over with the six hundred men that were with him unto Achish, the son of Maoch, king of Gath. | |||
| ☞삼상27:3 | 다윗이 가드에서 아키스와 함께 거하였으니, 그와 그의 사람들이 각자 자기 가족과 함께 거하였고, 다윗은 그의 두 아내, 즉 이스르엘 여자 아히노암과 나발의 아내였던 칼멜 여자 아비가일과 함께 거하더라. And David dwelt with Achish at Gath, he and his men, every man with his household, even David with his two wives, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, and Abigail the Carmelitess, Nabal's wife. | |||
| ☞삼상27:4 | 사울은 다윗이 가드로 도망하였다 함을 듣고, 다시는 더이상 그를 찾지 아니하더라. And it was told Saul that David was fled to Gath： and he sought no more again for him. | |||
| ☞삼상27:5 | 그때 다윗이 아키스에게 말하기를 "이제 내가 당신 눈에 은혜를 얻었다면, 이 나라의 어떤 고을 중 한 장소를 내게 주어 나로 그 곳에 거하게 하소서. 어찌 당신의 종이 당신과 함께 왕도에 거하리이까?" 하자 And David said unto Achish, If I have now found grace in thine eyes, let them give me a place in some town in the country, that I may dwell there： for why should thy servant dwell in the royal city with thee? | |||
| ☞삼상27:6 | 그 날에 아키스가 시클락을 그에게 주니, 시클락이 오늘까지 유다 왕에게 속하였더라. Then Achish gave him Ziklag that day： wherefore Ziklag pertaineth unto the kings of Judah unto this day. | |||
| ☞삼상27:7 | 다윗이 필리스티아인들의 땅에 거한 기간은 일 년 사 개월이었더라. And the time that David dwelt in the country of the Philistines was a full year and four months. | |||
| ☞삼상27:8 | 다윗과 그의 사람들이 올라가서 그술인들과 게스르인들과 아말렉인들을 침략하였으니, 이들 민족들은 옛부터 술과 이집트 땅으로 갈 때 지나는 지역의 거민이었더라. And David and his men went up, and invaded the Geshurites, and the Gezrites, and the Amalekites： for those nations were of old the inhabitants of the land, as thou goest to Shur, even unto the land of Egypt. | |||
| ☞삼상27:9 | 다윗이 그 땅을 쳐서 남자나 여자를 살려 두지 아니하고, 양과 소와 나귀와 낙타와 의복을 빼앗고 돌아와서 아키스에게 가니라. And David smote the land, and left neither man nor woman alive, and took away the sheep, and the oxen, and the asses, and the camels, and the apparel, and returned, and came to Achish. | |||
| ☞삼상27:10 | 아키스가 말하기를 "너희가 오늘은 어디로 길을 잡았더냐?" 하니 다윗이 말하기를 "유다 남부와 예라므엘인들의 남부와 켄인들의 남부를 쳤나이다." 하더라. And Achish said, Whither have ye made a road to day? And David said, Against the south of Judah, and against the south of the Jerahmeelites, and against the south of the Kenites. | |||
| ☞삼상27:11 | 다윗이 남자나 여자를 살려 두지 아니하여 가드로 소식을 가져가지 못하게 하였으며, 말하기를 "그들이 우리에 관하여 '다윗이 이렇게 행하였고, 그가 필리스티아인들의 땅에 거하는 동안 그의 행사가 이러할 것이라.' 말할까 하노라." 하더라. And David saved neither man nor woman alive, to bring tidings to Gath, saying, Lest they should tell on us, saying, So did David, and so will be his manner all the while he dwelleth in the country of the Philistines. | |||
| ☞삼상27:12 | 아키스가 다윗을 믿고 말하기를 "다윗이 자기 백성 이스라엘로 자기를 완전히 혐오하게 만들었으니, 그가 영원히 내 종이 되리라." 하더라. And Achish believed David, saying, He hath made his people Israel utterly to abhor him; therefore he shall be my servant for ever. | |||
