| ☞대하27:1 | 요담이 치리하기 시작할 때 이십오 세였고, 그가 예루살렘에서 십육 년을 치리하였으며, 그의 어머니의 이름은 여루사로, 사독의 딸이더라. Jotham was twenty and five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. His mother's name also was Jerushah, the daughter of Zadok. | |||
| ☞대하27:2 | 그가 그의 아버지 웃시야가 행한 모든 것을 따라 주의 목전에 옳은 것을 행하였더라. 그러나 그가 주의 성전에는 들어가지 아니하였으며, 백성은 오히려 부패하여 행하더라. And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father Uzziah did： howbeit he entered not into the temple of the LORD. And the people did yet corruptly. | |||
| ☞대하27:3 | 그가 주의 전의 윗문을 건축하고 오펠의 성곽도 많이 세웠더라. He built the high gate of the house of the LORD, and on the wall of Ophel he built much. | |||
| ☞대하27:4 | 또 그가 유다의 산지에 성읍들을 건축하고, 산림 안에는 성곽들과 망대들을 건축하였더라. Moreover he built cities in the mountains of Judah, and in the forests he built castles and towers. | |||
| ☞대하27:5 | 그가 암몬인들의 왕과 싸워 이기니, 암몬 자손이 그 해에 은 일백 달란트와 밀 일만 말과 보리 일만 말을 그에게 바쳤으며, 암몬 자손이 제 이년과 제 삼년에도 그와 같이 그에게 바쳤더라. He fought also with the king of the Ammonites, and prevailed against them. And the children of Ammon gave him the same year an hundred talents of silver, and ten thousand measures of wheat, and ten thousand of barley. So much did the children of Ammon pay unto him, both the second year, and the third. | |||
| ☞대하27:6 | 그리하여 요담이 막강해졌으니, 이는 그가 주 그의 하나님 앞에서 그의 길들을 준비 하였음이더라. So Jotham became mighty, because he prepared his ways before the LORD his God. | |||
| ☞대하27:7 | 요담의 나머지 행적과 그의 모든 전쟁과 그의 행사는 이스라엘과 유다의 열왕기에 기록되었더라. Now the rest of the acts of Jotham, and all his wars, and his ways, lo, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah. | |||
| ☞대하27:8 | 그가 치리하기 시작할 때 이십오 세였으며, 예루살렘에서 십육 년을 치리하였더라. He was five and twenty years old when he began to reign, and reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. | |||
| ☞대하27:9 | 요담이 그의 조상들과 함께 잠드니 백성이 그를 다윗 성읍에 장사하였고, 그의 아들 아하스가 그를 대신하여 왕이 되니라. And Jotham slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the city of David： and Ahaz his son reigned in his stead. | |||
