| ☞대하12:1 | 르호보암이 왕국을 견고하게 세우고 스스로 힘을 강하게 하자 주의 법을 버리니, 온 이스라엘이 그와 함께 하더라. And it came to pass, when Rehoboam had established the kingdom, and had strengthened himself, he forsook the law of the LORD, and all Israel with him. | |||
| ☞대하12:2 | 르호보암왕 제 오년에 이집트의 시삭왕이 예루살렘을 치러 올라왔으니, 이는 그들이 주를 거스려 범죄하였기 때문이더라. And it came to pass, that in the fifth year of king Rehoboam Shishak king of Egypt came up against Jerusalem, because they had transgressed against the LORD, | |||
| ☞대하12:3 | 그가 병거 일천이백과 기병 육만을 대동했으며, 이집트에서 그와 함께 온 백성은 헤아릴 수 없었으니 루빔인들과 숙키임인들과 에디오피아인들이더라. With twelve hundred chariots, and threescore thousand horsemen： and the people were without number that came with him out of Egypt; the Lubims, the Sukkiims, and the Ethiopians. | |||
| ☞대하12:4 | 시삭이 유다에 속한 성벽으로 두른 성읍들을 취하고 예루살렘으로 갔더라. And he took the fenced cities which pertained to Judah, and came to Jerusalem. | |||
| ☞대하12:5 | 그때, 시삭으로 인하여 예루살렘에 모인 르호보암과 유다의 고관들에게 선지자 스마야가 가서 그들에게 말하기를 "주가 이같이 말하노라. 너희가 나를 버렸으니, 그러므로 나도 너희를 시삭의 손에 내버려 두었노라." 한지라 Then came Shemaiah the prophet to Rehoboam, and to the princes of Judah, that were gathered together to Jerusalem because of Shishak, and said unto them, Thus saith the LORD, Ye have forsaken me, and therefore have I also left you in the hand of Shishak. | |||
| ☞대하12:6 | 그러므로 이스라엘의 고관들과 왕이 겸손해져서 말하기를 "주는 의로우시도다." 하더라. Whereupon the princes of Israel and the king humbled themselves; and they said, The LORD is righteous. | |||
| ☞대하12:7 | 주께서 그들이 겸손해진 것을 보시자 주의 말씀이 스마야에게 임하여 말씀하시기를 "그들이 겸손해졌으므로 내가 그들을 멸하지 아니하고 약간의 구원을 베풀리니, 시삭의 손을 통하여 나의 진노를 예루살렘에 붓지 아니하리라. And when the LORD saw that they humbled themselves, the word of the LORD came to Shemaiah, saying, They have humbled themselves; therefore I will not destroy them, but I will grant them some deliverance; and my wrath shall not be poured out upon Jerusalem by the hand of Shishak. | |||
| ☞대하12:8 | 그러나 그들이 그의 종이 되리니, 그들이 나를 섬기는 것과 여러 이방 왕국들을 섬기는 것을 알게 되리라." 하시더라. Nevertheless they shall be his servants; that they may know my service, and the service of the kingdoms of the countries. | |||
| ☞대하12:9 | 그리하여 이집트의 시삭왕이 예루살렘을 치러 와서 주의 전의 보물과 왕궁의 보물을 빼앗아 갔더라. 그가 모든 것을 가져갔으니 솔로몬이 만든 금 방패들도 가져갔더라. So Shishak king of Egypt came up against Jerusalem, and took away the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king's house; he took all： he carried away also the shields of gold which Solomon had made. | |||
| ☞대하12:10 | 르호보암 왕이 그것들을 대신하여 놋으로 방패들을 만들어 왕궁의 입구를 지키는 경호 대장의 손에 그것들을 맡기니 Instead of which king Rehoboam made shields of brass, and committed them to the hands of the chief of the guard, that kept the entrance of the king's house. | |||
| ☞대하12:11 | 왕이 주의 전으로 들어갈 때면 경호원이 와서 그 방패들을 가져갔다가 경호실로 다시 가져왔더라. And when the king entered into the house of the LORD, the guard came and fetched them, and brought them again into the guard chamber. | |||
| ☞대하12:12 | 왕이 겸손해지자 주께서 진노를 그에게서 돌이키시어 그를 완전히 멸하지 아니하셨으니, 유다에서도 일들이 잘 되어 가더라. And when he humbled himself, the wrath of the LORD turned from him, that he would not destroy him altogether： and also in Judah things went well. | |||
| ☞대하12:13 | 그리하여 르호보암왕이 예루살렘에서 스스로 강해져서 치리하였더라. 르호보암이 치리하기 시작하였을 때 사십일 세로 예루살렘에서 십칠 년을 치리하였으니, 그 곳은 주께서 자기의 이름을 두시려고 이스라엘 온 지파 중에서 택하신 성읍이더라. 그의 어머니의 이름은 암몬 여인 나아마더라. So king Rehoboam strengthened himself in Jerusalem, and reigned： for Rehoboam was one and forty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned seventeen years in Jerusalem, the city which the LORD had chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, to put his name there. And his mother's name was Naamah an Ammonitess. | |||
| ☞대하12:14 | 그가 주를 찾기 위하여 그의 마음을 준비하지 아니하였으므로 악을 행했더라. And he did evil, because he prepared not his heart to seek the LORD. | |||
| ☞대하12:15 | 이제 르호보암의 행적의 처음과 마지막이 선지자 스마야의 책에, 또 계보에 관한 선견자 잇도의 책에 기록되어 있지 아니하냐? 르호보암과 여로보암 사이에 전쟁이 계속해서 있었더라. Now the acts of Rehoboam, first and last, are they not written in the book of Shemaiah the prophet, and of Iddo the seer concerning genealogies? And there were wars between Rehoboam and Jeroboam continually. | |||
| ☞대하12:16 | 르호보암이 그의 조상들과 함께 잠들어 다윗 성읍에 장사되니, 그의 아들 아비야가 그를 대신해서 왕이 되니라. And Rehoboam slept with his fathers, and was buried in the city of David： and Abijah his son reigned in his stead. | |||
