☞왕상9:1 솔로몬이 주의 전과 왕궁 건축을 마치고, 또 솔로몬이 하고자 했던 그의 모든 소원을 이루었을 때
And it came to pass, when Solomon had finished the building of the house of the LORD, and the king's house, and all Solomon's desire which he was pleased to do,
☞왕상9:2 주께서 전에 기브온에서 그에게 나타나셨던 것처럼 솔로몬에게 두 번째로 나타나시니라.
That the LORD appeared to Solomon the second time, as he had appeared unto him at Gibeon.
☞왕상9:3 주께서 그에게 말씀하시기를 "네가 내 앞에서 한 네 기도와 간구를 내가 들었느니라. 네가 나의 이름을 영원히 두려고 지은 이 전을 내가 거룩하게 하였으며, 내 눈과 내 마음이 계속해서 그 곳에 있으리라.
And the LORD said unto him, I have heard thy prayer and thy supplication, that thou hast made before me： I have hallowed this house, which thou hast built, to put my name there for ever; and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually.
☞왕상9:4 만일 네가 네 아비 다윗이 행한 것과 같이 마음의 온전함으로, 또 정직함으로 내 앞에서 행하고 내가 네게 명한 모든 것을 따라 행하며 내 규례들과 명령들을 지키면
And if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, in integrity of heart, and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded thee, and wilt keep my statutes and my judgments：
☞왕상9:5 내가 네 아비 다윗에게 약속하여 말하기를 '이스라엘의 보좌에 앉을 사람이 네게 끊어지지 아니하리라.' 한 대로 내가 네 왕국의 보좌를 이스라엘 위에 영원히 세우리라.
Then I will establish the throne of thy kingdom upon Israel for ever, as I promised to David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man upon the throne of Israel.
☞왕상9:6 그러나 만일 너희, 즉 너희와 너희 자손이 나를 따르는 데서 아주 돌이켜, 내가 너희 앞에 둔 내 계명들과 규례들을 지키지 아니하고, 가서 다른 신들을 섬기고 그것들에게 경배하면
But if ye shall at all turn from following me, ye or your children, and will not keep my commandments and my statutes which I have set before you, but go and serve other gods, and worship them：
☞왕상9:7 내가 이스라엘을 그들에게 준 땅에서 끊어 버릴 것이요, 내 이름을 위하여 내가 거룩하게 한 이 전도 내 앞에서 버리리니, 이스라엘이 모든 백성 가운데 속담거리와 이야깃거리가 되리라.
Then will I cut off Israel out of the land which I have given them; and this house, which I have hallowed for my name, will I cast out of my sight; and Israel shall be a proverb and a byword among all people：
☞왕상9:8 이 높은 전을 지나가는 자는 누구나 놀라고 비웃으며, 또 그들이 말하기를 '어찌하여 주께서 이 땅과 이 전에 이같이 행하셨는가?' 할 것이요
And at this house, which is high, every one that passeth by it shall be astonished, and shall hiss; and they shall say, Why hath the LORD done thus unto this land, and to this house?
☞왕상9:9 그러면 그들이 대답하기를 '이는 그들이 그들의 조상을 이집트 땅에서 인도해 내신 주 그들의 하나님을 버리고 다른 신들을 붙들어 그것들에게 경배하고 그것들을 섬겼음이라. 그러므로 주께서 이 모든 재앙을 그들에게 내리셨도다.' 하리라." 하시더라.
And they shall answer, Because they forsook the LORD their God, who brought forth their fathers out of the land of Egypt, and have taken hold upon other gods, and have worshipped them, and served them： therefore hath the LORD brought upon them all this evil.
☞왕상9:10 솔로몬이 두 집, 즉 주의 전과 왕궁 건축하기를 이십 년만에 마친 후
And it came to pass at the end of twenty years, when Solomon had built the two houses, the house of the LORD, and the king's house,
☞왕상9:11 (투로 왕 히람이 솔로몬에게 그의 모든 소원 대로 백향목과 잣나무와 금을 제공하였으므로) 솔로몬왕이 히람에게 갈릴리 땅에 있는 이십 성읍을 주니라.
(Now Hiram the king of Tyre had furnished Solomon with cedar trees and fir trees, and with gold, according to all his desire,) that then king Solomon gave Hiram twenty cities in the land of Galilee.
☞왕상9:12 히람이 투로에서 나와 솔로몬이 자기에게 준 성읍들을 보았으나, 그것들이 마음에 들지 않은지라
And Hiram came out from Tyre to see the cities which Solomon had given him; and they pleased him not.
☞왕상9:13 그가 말하기를 "나의 형제여, 당신이 내게 주신 이 성읍들이 어떤 성읍이니이까?" 하고 그가 그 성읍들을 카불의 땅이라 부르니, 오늘에 이르니라.
And he said, What cities are these which thou hast given me, my brother? And he called them the land of Cabul unto this day.
☞왕상9:14 히람이 왕에게 금 일백이십 달란트를 보내었더라.
And Hiram sent to the king sixscore talents of gold.
☞왕상9:15 솔로몬왕이 사람들을 동원한 이유가 이러하니, 즉 주의 전과 자기 궁과 밀로와 예루살렘 성벽과 하솔과 므깃도와 게셀을 건축하려 한 것인데
And this is the reason of the levy which king Solomon raised; for to build the house of the LORD, and his own house, and Millo, and the wall of Jerusalem, and Hazor, and Megiddo, and Gezer.
☞왕상9:16 이는 이집트 왕 파라오가 올라와서 게셀을 취하여 불사르고, 그 성읍에 거하는 카나안인들을 죽이고 솔로몬의 아내인 그의 딸에게 선물로 준 것이더라.
For Pharaoh king of Egypt had gone up, and taken Gezer, and burnt it with fire, and slain the Canaanites that dwelt in the city, and given it for a present unto his daughter, Solomon's wife.
☞왕상9:17 솔로몬이 게셀과 그 아래 벧호론을 건축하고
And Solomon built Gezer, and Bethhoron the nether,
☞왕상9:18 바알랏과, 그 땅 광야에 있는 탓몰과
And Baalath, and Tadmor in the wilderness, in the land,
☞왕상9:19 솔로몬이 가진 모든 국고 성읍과, 그의 병거 성읍들과, 기병 성읍들을 건축하고 또 솔로몬이 예루살렘과 레바논과 그가 지배하는 모든 땅에 건축하고자 했던 것을 건축하였더라.
And all the cities of store that Solomon had, and cities for his chariots, and cities for his horsemen, and that which Solomon desired to build in Jerusalem, and in Lebanon, and in all the land of his dominion.
☞왕상9:20 이스라엘 자손에 속하지 않는 아모리인들과, 힛인들과, 프리스인들과, 히위인들과, 여부스인들의 남아 있는 모든 백성들과
And all the people that were left of the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites, which were not of the children of Israel,
☞왕상9:21 그들 이후에 그 땅에 남겨진 그들의 자손, 즉 이스라엘 자손 또한 완전히 멸하지 못한 자들에게 솔로몬이 노예의 조공을 이날까지 부과하였더라.
Their children that were left after them in the land, whom the children of Israel also were not able utterly to destroy, upon those did Solomon levy a tribute of bondservice unto this day.
☞왕상9:22 그러나 솔로몬이 이스라엘 자손은 노예로 삼지 아니하였으니, 그들은 전사들이요, 그의 신하들이며, 그의 관원들이고, 그의 대장들이며, 그의 병거를 다스리는 자들이고, 그의 기병들임이라.
But of the children of Israel did Solomon make no bondmen： but they were men of war, and his servants, and his princes, and his captains, and rulers of his chariots, and his horsemen.
☞왕상9:23 솔로몬의 공사를 지휘하는 관원들의 우두머리가 오백오십이요, 그들이 공사에서 일하는 백성들을 다스리더라.
These were the chief of the officers that were over Solomon's work, five hundred and fifty, which bare rule over the people that wrought in the work.
☞왕상9:24 파라오의 딸이 다윗 성읍에서 나와 솔로몬이 그녀를 위하여 건축한 그녀의 궁으로 갔으니, 그때 솔로몬이 밀로를 건축하더라.
But Pharaoh's daughter came up out of the city of David unto her house which Solomon had built for her： then did he build Millo.
☞왕상9:25 솔로몬이 일 년에 세 번 그가 주를 위하여 건축한 제단에서 번제와 화목제를 드리고 주 앞에 있는 제단에서 향을 피웠더라. 이렇게 솔로몬이 전을 완공하였더라.
And three times in a year did Solomon offer burnt offerings and peace offerings upon the altar which he built unto the LORD, and he burnt incense upon the altar that was before the LORD. So he finished the house.
☞왕상9:26 솔로몬왕이 에돔 땅 홍해 해변 엘롯 곁에 있는 에시온게벨에서 배들을 지으니라.
And king Solomon made a navy of ships in Eziongeber, which is beside Eloth, on the shore of the Red sea, in the land of Edom.
☞왕상9:27 히람이 그의 신하들, 즉 바다에 관한 지식을 갖고 있는 선원들을 솔로몬의 신하들과 함께 배로 보내니
And Hiram sent in the navy his servants, shipmen that had knowledge of the sea, with the servants of Solomon.
☞왕상9:28 그들이 오필에 가서 거기서 금 사백이십 달란트를 가져다가, 그것을 솔로몬왕에게 가져왔더라.
And they came to Ophir, and fetched from thence gold, four hundred and twenty talents, and brought it to king Solomon.
