☞왕상11:1 그러나 솔로몬왕이 파라오의 딸과 더불어 많은 타국 여인들을 사랑하였으니, 모압인들과 암몬인들과 에돔인들과 시돈인들과 힛인들의 여인들이라.
But king Solomon loved many strange women, together with the daughter of Pharaoh, women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Zidonians, and Hittites：
☞왕상11:2 주께서 민족들에 관하여 이스라엘 자손에게 말씀하시기를 "너희는 그들에게로 들어가지도 말고, 그들을 너희에게 들어오게도 말지니, 이는 그들이 반드시 너희 마음을 돌려서 그들의 신들을 따르게 할 것이기 때문이라." 하셨으나, 솔로몬이 사랑으로 그들과 결합하였더라.
Of the nations concerning which the LORD said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall not go in to them, neither shall they come in unto you： for surely they will turn away your heart after their gods： Solomon clave unto these in love.
☞왕상11:3 솔로몬에게 아내, 즉 왕비가 칠백이요, 후궁이 삼백이 있었으니, 그의 아내들이 그의 마음을 돌이켰더라.
And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines： and his wives turned away his heart.
☞왕상11:4 솔로몬이 늙자 그의 아내들이 그의 마음을 돌이켜 다른 신들을 따르게 하였더라. 그의 마음이 그의 아버지 다윗의 마음처럼 주 그의 하나님과 더불어 온전하지 아니하였으니
For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other gods： and his heart was not perfect with the LORD his God, as was the heart of David his father.
☞왕상11:5 이는 솔로몬이 시돈인들의 여신 아스토렛을 따라가고 암몬인들의 가증한 것인 밀콤을 따랐음이라.
For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites.
☞왕상11:6 솔로몬이 주의 목전에서 악을 행하였고, 그의 아버지 다윗이 행한 것처럼 주를 완전히 따르지 아니하더라.
And Solomon did evil in the sight of the LORD, and went not fully after the LORD, as did David his father.
☞왕상11:7 그때 솔로몬이 예루살렘 앞에 있는 산에 모압의 가증한 것인 크모스를 위하여 산당을 짓고, 또 암몬 자손의 가증한 것인 몰록을 위하여 산당을 지었으며
Then did Solomon build an high place for Chemosh, the abomination of Moab, in the hill that is before Jerusalem, and for Molech, the abomination of the children of Ammon.
☞왕상11:8 또 그가 그의 모든 타국인 아내들을 위해서도 그와 같이 하였으니, 그들이 그들의 신들에게 분향하고 희생제를 드리더라.
And likewise did he for all his strange wives, which burnt incense and sacrificed unto their gods.
☞왕상11:9 솔로몬의 마음이 이스라엘의 주 하나님으로부터 돌이켜진 까닭에 주께서 그에게 진노하시니라. 주께서 전에 그에게 두 번 나타나셔서
And the LORD was angry with Solomon, because his heart was turned from the LORD God of Israel, which had appeared unto him twice,
☞왕상11:10 이 일에 관하여 명하시어 그가 다른 신들을 따라가서는 안된다고 하셨는데도 그가 주께서 명령하신 것을 지키지 아니하였으므로
And had commanded him concerning this thing, that he should not go after other gods： but he kept not that which the LORD commanded.
☞왕상11:11 주께서 솔로몬에게 말씀하시기를 "네가 이 일을 행하여 내가 네게 명한 나의 언약과 규례들을 지키지 아니하였으니, 내가 반드시 네게서 왕국을 찢어서 네 신하에게 주리라.
Wherefore the LORD said unto Solomon, Forasmuch as this is done of thee, and thou hast not kept my covenant and my statutes, which I have commanded thee, I will surely rend the kingdom from thee, and will give it to thy servant.
☞왕상11:12 그렇지만 네 아비 다윗을 위하여 내가 너의 날들에는 이 일을 행하지 아니할 것이요, 네 아들의 손에서 왕국을 찢으리라.
Notwithstanding in thy days I will not do it for David thy father's sake： but I will rend it out of the hand of thy son.
☞왕상11:13 그러나 모든 왕국을 찢지는 아니하고, 내 종 다윗과 내가 택한 예루살렘을 위하여 네 아들에게 한 지파를 주리라." 하시니라.
Howbeit I will not rend away all the kingdom; but will give one tribe to thy son for David my servant's sake, and for Jerusalem's sake which I have chosen.
☞왕상11:14 주께서 솔로몬에게 한 대적을 일으키셨으니 에돔인 하닷이라, 그는 에돔에 있는 왕의 씨에 속한 자라.
And the LORD stirred up an adversary unto Solomon, Hadad the Edomite： he was of the king's seed in Edom.
☞왕상11:15 다윗이 에돔에 있었을 때 군대 대장 요압이 에돔에 있는 모든 남자를 쳐 죽인 후 죽임을 당한 자들을 장사하러 올라갔을 때
For it came to pass, when David was in Edom, and Joab the captain of the host was gone up to bury the slain, after he had smitten every male in Edom;
☞왕상11:16 (요압이 에돔에 있는 모든 남자를 멸절할 때까지 육 개월 동안 온 이스라엘과 더불어 거기에 머물렀더라.)
(For six months did Joab remain there with all Israel, until he had cut off every male in Edom:)
☞왕상11:17 하닷은 그때 어린 아이였는데, 그의 아버지의 신하 중 어떤 에돔인들과 함께 도망하여 이집트로 갔더라.
That Hadad fled, he and certain Edomites of his father's servants with him, to go into Egypt; Hadad being yet a little child.
☞왕상11:18 그들이 미디안에서 일어나 파란에 이르고, 파란에서 사람들을 데리고 이집트로 가서 이집트 왕 파라오에게 가니, 파라오가 그에게 집을 주고 식량을 정해 주며 토지를 주었더라.
And they arose out of Midian, and came to Paran： and they took men with them out of Paran, and they came to Egypt, unto Pharaoh king of Egypt; which gave him an house, and appointed him victuals, and gave him land.
☞왕상11:19 하닷이 파라오의 목전에서 큰 은총을 입었으므로 파라오가 그에게 그의 아내의 누이, 즉 왕후 타프네스의 누이를 아내로 주었더라.
And Hadad found great favour in the sight of Pharaoh, so that he gave him to wife the sister of his own wife, the sister of Tahpenes the queen.
☞왕상11:20 타프네스의 누이가 그에게 아들 그누밧을 낳자 타프네스가 그를 파라오의 궁에서 젖을 떼게 하니, 그누밧이 파라오의 궁에서 파라오의 아들들 가운데 있더라.
And the sister of Tahpenes bare him Genubath his son, whom Tahpenes weaned in Pharaoh's house： and Genubath was in Pharaoh's household among the sons of Pharaoh.
☞왕상11:21 하닷이 이집트에서 다윗이 그의 조상들과 함께 잠든 것과 군대 대장 요압이 죽었다 함을 듣고 파라오에게 말하기를 "나로 내 고국으로 돌아가도록 보내 주소서." 하자
And when Hadad heard in Egypt that David slept with his fathers, and that Joab the captain of the host was dead, Hadad said to Pharaoh, Let me depart, that I may go to mine own country.
☞왕상11:22 파라오가 그에게 말하기를 "보라, 네가 나와 함께 있는 것이 무엇이 부족하기에 네가 네 고국으로 가려고 하느냐?" 하니 그가 대답하기를 "아무것도 없나이다. 그러나 아무쪼록 나로 가게 하소서." 하였더라.
Then Pharaoh said unto him, But what hast thou lacked with me, that, behold, thou seekest to go to thine own country? And he answered, Nothing： howbeit let me go in any wise.
☞왕상11:23 또 하나님께서 다른 대적을 그에게 일으키셨으니, 엘리아다의 아들 르손이라. 그는 그의 주 소바 왕 하닷에셀에게서 도망하였던 자라.
And God stirred him up another adversary, Rezon the son of Eliadah, which fled from his lord Hadadezer king of Zobah：
☞왕상11:24 다윗이 소바 사람들을 죽일 때에 그가 사람들을 자기에게로 모아 부대를 다스리는 대장이 되었으니, 그들이 다마스커스로 가서 거기에 거하며 다마스커스를 다스리더라.
And he gathered men unto him, and became captain over a band, when David slew them of Zobah： and they went to Damascus, and dwelt therein, and reigned in Damascus.
☞왕상11:25 하닷이 행한 재앙 외에도 그가 솔로몬의 평생 동안 이스라엘에게 대적이 되니라. 그가 이스라엘을 증오하고 시리아를 다스렸더라.
And he was an adversary to Israel all the days of Solomon, beside the mischief that Hadad did： and he abhorred Israel, and reigned over Syria.
☞왕상11:26 솔로몬의 신하 스레다의 에프랏인 느밧의 아들 여로보암이 왕을 대적하여 그의 손을 들었으니, 그의 어미의 이름은 스루아요 과부더라.
And Jeroboam the son of Nebat, an Ephrathite of Zereda, Solomon's servant, whose mother's name was Zeruah, a widow woman, even he lifted up his hand against the king.
☞왕상11:27 그가 왕을 대적하여 그의 손을 들어올린 까닭이 이러하니라. 솔로몬이 밀로를 짓고 그의 아버지 다윗 성읍의 무너진 것을 수리할 때
And this was the cause that he lifted up his hand against the king： Solomon built Millo, and repaired the breaches of the city of David his father.
☞왕상11:28 이 사람 여로보암은 용맹한 용사인지라, 솔로몬이 그 청년의 근면함을 보고 그를 세워 요셉의 집의 모든 과업을 다스리게 하였더라.
And the man Jeroboam was a mighty man of valour： and Solomon seeing the young man that he was industrious, he made him ruler over all the charge of the house of Joseph.
☞왕상11:29 그때 여로보암이 예루살렘에서 나갔는데, 실로인 선지자 아히야가 길에서 그를 만난지라 그가 새 의복을 입고 있었고 들에는 그들 둘만 있었는데
And it came to pass at that time when Jeroboam went out of Jerusalem, that the prophet Ahijah the Shilonite found him in the way; and he had clad himself with a new garment; and they two were alone in the field：
☞왕상11:30 아히야는 자기가 입은 새 의복을 잡아 그것을 열두 조각으로 찢고
And Ahijah caught the new garment that was on him, and rent it in twelve pieces：
☞왕상11:31 여로보암에게 말하기를 "너는 열 조각을 취하라. 이는 주, 이스라엘의 하나님께서 이같이 말씀하시기를 '보라, 내가 솔로몬의 손에서 왕국을 찢어서 열 지파를 네게 줄 것이라.
And he said to Jeroboam, Take thee ten pieces： for thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, Behold, I will rend the kingdom out of the hand of Solomon, and will give ten tribes to thee：
☞왕상11:32 (그러나 그는 내 종 다윗을 위하여, 또 내가 이스라엘 모든 지파 중에서 택한 성읍 예루살렘을 위하여 한 지파를 가지리라.)
(But he shall have one tribe for my servant David's sake, and for Jerusalem's sake, the city which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel:)
☞왕상11:33 이는 그들이 나를 버리고 시돈인들의 여신 아스토렛과 모압인들의 크모스와 암몬 자손의 신 밀콤을 경배하며, 그의 아버지 다윗이 행한 것처럼 나의 길로 행하고 내 눈에 옳은 일을 행하고 나의 규례들과 명령들을 행하지 아니하였음이라.
Because that they have forsaken me, and have worshipped Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, Chemosh the god of the Moabites, and Milcom the god of the children of Ammon, and have not walked in my ways, to do that which is right in mine eyes, and to keep my statutes and my judgments, as did David his father.
☞왕상11:34 내가 그의 손에서 온 왕국을 빼앗지는 아니할 것이요, 내가 택한 나의 종 다윗을 위하여 솔로몬의 평생 동안에는 그를 왕으로 삼으리니, 이는 다윗이 나의 계명들과 규례들을 지켰음이라.
Howbeit I will not take the whole kingdom out of his hand： but I will make him prince all the days of his life for David my servant's sake, whom I chose, because he kept my commandments and my statutes：
☞왕상11:35 그러나 내가 그의 아들의 손에서 그 왕국을 빼앗아 너에게 열 지파를 줄 것이요
But I will take the kingdom out of his son's hand, and will give it unto thee, even ten tribes.
☞왕상11:36 내가 한 지파를 그의 아들에게 주어, 내 종 다윗으로 내가 나의 이름을 두려고 나를 위하여 택한 성읍 예루살렘에서 항상 내 앞에서 빛을 갖게 하리라.
And unto his son will I give one tribe, that David my servant may have a light alway before me in Jerusalem, the city which I have chosen me to put my name there.
☞왕상11:37 내가 너를 택하리니, 너는 네 혼이 원하는 모든 것을 따라 치리할 것이요, 이스라엘을 치리할 왕이 되리라.
And I will take thee, and thou shalt reign according to all that thy soul desireth, and shalt be king over Israel.
☞왕상11:38 만일 내가 네게 명한 모든 일을 네가 듣고, 내 길로 행하며, 내가 보기에 바른 것을 행하고, 내 규례들과 계명들을 내 종 다윗이 행한 것과 같이 지키면, 내가 너와 함께 있어 내가 다윗을 위하여 세운 것과 같이 너를 위하여 견고한 집을 세우고 이스라엘을 네게 주리라.
And it shall be, if thou wilt hearken unto all that I command thee, and wilt walk in my ways, and do that is right in my sight, to keep my statutes and my commandments, as David my servant did; that I will be with thee, and build thee a sure house, as I built for David, and will give Israel unto thee.
☞왕상11:39 내가 이를 위하여 다윗의 씨를 괴롭힐 것이나 영원히 하지는 아니하리라.' 하심이니라." 하더라.
And I will for this afflict the seed of David, but not for ever.
☞왕상11:40 그러므로 솔로몬이 여로보암을 죽이려 한지라, 여로보암이 일어나 이집트로 도망하여 이집트 왕 시삭에게 이르러 솔로몬이 죽기까지 이집트에 있었더라.
Solomon sought therefore to kill Jeroboam. And Jeroboam arose, and fled into Egypt, unto Shishak king of Egypt, and was in Egypt until the death of Solomon.
☞왕상11:41 솔로몬의 나머지 행적과 그가 행한 모든 것과 그의 지혜가 솔로몬의 행적의 책에 기록되어 있지 아니하냐?
And the rest of the acts of Solomon, and all that he did, and his wisdom, are they not written in the book of the acts of Solomon?
☞왕상11:42 솔로몬이 예루살렘에서 온 이스라엘을 치리한 기간이 사십 년이더라.
And the time that Solomon reigned in Jerusalem over all Israel was forty years.
☞왕상11:43 솔로몬이 그의 조상들과 함께 잠들자 그의 아버지 다윗 성읍에 장사되었으며, 그의 아들 르호보암이 그를 대신하여 왕이 되니라.
And Solomon slept with his fathers, and was buried in the city of David his father： and Rehoboam his son reigned in his stead.
