| ☞왕상17:1 | 길르앗 거민에 속한 티셉인 엘리야가 아합에게 말하기를 "내가 섬기는 이스라엘의 주 하나님께서 살아 계시는 한, 내 말이 없으면 수 년 동안 이슬도 내리지 않겠고, 비도 오지 아니하리라." 하니라. And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word. | |||
| ☞왕상17:2 | 주의 말씀이 엘리야에게 임하여 말씀하시기를 And the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, | |||
| ☞왕상17:3 | "너는 여기서 떠나 동쪽으로 향하여 요단 앞에 있는 크릿 시내 옆에 숨고 Get thee hence, and turn thee eastward, and hide thyself by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan. | |||
| ☞왕상17:4 | 그 시냇물을 마시라. 내가 까마귀들에게 거기서 너를 먹이도록 명하였느니라." 하시므로 And it shall be, that thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there. | |||
| ☞왕상17:5 | 그가 가서 주의 말씀대로 행하니라. 그가 가서 요단 앞에 있는 크릿 시내 옆에 거하였으니 So he went and did according unto the word of the LORD： for he went and dwelt by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan. | |||
| ☞왕상17:6 | 까마귀들이 아침에 빵과 고기를, 저녁에 빵과 고기를 그에게 가져왔으며, 그가 시냇물을 마셨더라. And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening; and he drank of the brook. | |||
| ☞왕상17:7 | 얼마 후 그 땅에 비가 오지 아니하므로 그 시냇물이 마르더라. And it came to pass after a while, that the brook dried up, because there had been no rain in the land. | |||
| ☞왕상17:8 | 그때 주의 말씀이 그에게 임하여 말씀하시기를 And the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, | |||
| ☞왕상17:9 | "너는 일어나 시돈에 속한 사르밧으로 가서 거기 거하라. 보라, 내가 그 곳에 있는 한 과부 여인에게 명하여 너를 부양하게 하였느니라." 하시므로 Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there： behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee. | |||
| ☞왕상17:10 | 그가 일어나 사르밧으로 가니라. 그가 성읍의 문에 이르니, 보라, 그 과부 여인이 거기서 나뭇가지를 모으고 있는지라, 그가 그녀를 불러 말하기를 "내가 청하노니 그릇에 물을 조금 가져와 나로 마시게 하라." 하더라. So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold, the widow woman was there gathering of sticks： and he called to her, and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessel, that I may drink. | |||
| ☞왕상17:11 | 또 그녀가 물을 가지러 갈 때 그가 그녀를 불러 말하기를 "내가 청하노니 네 손에 빵 한 조각을 내게 가져오라." 하니라. And as she was going to fetch it, he called to her, and said, Bring me, I pray thee, a morsel of bread in thine hand. | |||
| ☞왕상17:12 | 그러자 그녀가 말하기를 "주 당신의 하나님께서 살아 계시거니와, 내게는 과자가 없고 통에 한 줌 가루와 병에 기름이 조금 있을 뿐이니이다. 보소서, 내가 나뭇가지 두어 개를 주어 가지고 가서 나와 내 아들을 위하여 음식을 만들어, 우리가 먹고 죽으려 하나이다." 하니 And she said, As the LORD thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse： and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die. | |||
| ☞왕상17:13 | 엘리야가 그녀에게 말하기를 "두려워 말고 가서 네가 말한 대로 행하라. 그러나 나를 위하여 조그만 과자 하나를 먼저 만들어 내게 가져오고, 그 후에 너와 네 아들을 위하여 만들라. And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said： but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son. | |||
| ☞왕상17:14 | 이스라엘의 주 하나님께서 이같이 말씀하시기를 '주가 땅에 비를 보내는 날까지 가루통도 고갈되지 아니하고 기름병도 비지 아니하리라.' 하시느니라." 하더라. For thus saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the LORD sendeth rain upon the earth. | |||
| ☞왕상17:15 | 그 여인이 가서 엘리야의 말대로 하니, 그 여인과 엘리야와 그녀의 집안이 여러 날을 먹었으나 And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah： and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days. | |||
| ☞왕상17:16 | 엘리야를 통하여 하신 주의 말씀대로 가루통도 고갈되지 아니하고 기름병도 비지 아니하였더라. And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Elijah. | |||
| ☞왕상17:17 | 이런 일 후에 그 집의 안주인인 그 여인의 아들이 병들었는데, 그의 병이 심히 악화되어 그에게서 숨이 끊어진지라 And it came to pass after these things, that the son of the woman, the mistress of the house, fell sick; and his sickness was so sore, that there was no breath left in him. | |||
| ☞왕상17:18 | 그녀가 엘리야에게 말하기를 "오 하나님의 사람이여, 내가 당신과 무슨 상관이 있기에 당신이 내게 와서 내 죄를 생각나게 하시며 내 아들을 죽이시나이까?" 하니 And she said unto Elijah, What have I to do with thee, O thou man of God? art thou come unto me to call my sin to remembrance, and to slay my son? | |||
| ☞왕상17:19 | 엘리야가 그녀에게 말하기를 "네 아들을 내게 달라." 하고 그녀의 품에서 그 아이를 취하여 그가 거처하는 다락으로 안고 가서 자기의 침상에 내려 놓더라. And he said unto her, Give me thy son. And he took him out of her bosom, and carried him up into a loft, where he abode, and laid him upon his own bed. | |||
| ☞왕상17:20 | 그리고 그가 주께 부르짖어 말하기를 "오 주 나의 하나님이여, 주께서는 내가 기거하고 있는 과부에게도 재앙을 내리시어 그의 아들을 죽게 하셨나이까?" 하고 And he cried unto the LORD, and said, O LORD my God, hast thou also brought evil upon the widow with whom I sojourn, by slaying her son? | |||
| ☞왕상17:21 | 그가 자기 몸을 그 아이 위에 세 번 펴고 주께 부르짖어 말하기를 "오 주 나의 하나님이여, 내가 간구하오니 이 아이의 혼이 그의 안에 돌아오게 하소서." 하자 And he stretched himself upon the child three times, and cried unto the LORD, and said, O LORD my God, I pray thee, let this child's soul come into him again. | |||
| ☞왕상17:22 | 주께서 엘리야의 음성을 들으셨으니, 그 아이의 혼이 그의 안에 돌아와서 그가 살아났더라. And the LORD heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came into him again, and he revived. | |||
| ☞왕상17:23 | 엘리야가 그 아이를 데리고 그 방에서 집 안으로 내려와 그 어머니에게 넘겨주며 말하기를 "보라, 네 아들이 살아났느니라." 하니라. And Elijah took the child, and brought him down out of the chamber into the house, and delivered him unto his mother： and Elijah said, See, thy son liveth. | |||
| ☞왕상17:24 | 그 여인이 엘리야에게 말하기를 "내가 이제 이 일로 당신이 하나님의 사람인 것과 당신 입에 있는 주의 말씀이 진리임을 아나이다." 하더라. And the woman said to Elijah, Now by this I know that thou art a man of God, and that the word of the LORD in thy mouth is truth. | |||
