| ☞삼하8:1 | 이 일 후에 다윗이 필리스티아인들을 쳐서 그들을 항복시키고 필리스티아인들의 손에서 메덱암마를 빼앗으니라. And after this it came to pass that David smote the Philistines, and subdued them： and David took Methegammah out of the hand of the Philistines. | |||
| ☞삼하8:2 | 또 다윗이 모압을 쳐서 그들로 땅에 엎드리게 하여 줄로 재었으니, 두 줄로 잰 자는 죽이고 한 줄에 차는 자는 살린지라. 그리하여 모압인들이 다윗의 종이 되어 예물을 바치더라. And he smote Moab, and measured them with a line, casting them down to the ground; even with two lines measured he to put to death, and with one full line to keep alive. And so the Moabites became David's servants, and brought gifts. | |||
| ☞삼하8:3 | 다윗이 또한 유프라테스 강변에 그의 경계를 회복하려고 갈 때 소바 왕 르홉의 아들 하닷에셀도 치니라. David smote also Hadadezer, the son of Rehob, king of Zobah, as he went to recover his border at the river Euphrates. | |||
| ☞삼하8:4 | 다윗이 그에게서 병거 일천과 기병 칠백과 보병 이만을 빼앗았으며, 다윗이 모든 병거의 말들의 힘줄을 끊고 병거 일백만 남겨 두더라. And David took from him a thousand chariots, and seven hundred horsemen, and twenty thousand footmen： and David houghed all the chariot horses, but reserved of them for an hundred chariots. | |||
| ☞삼하8:5 | 그때 다마스커스의 시리아인들이 소바 왕 하닷에셀을 도우러 오니, 다윗이 그 시리아인들 가운데 이만 이천을 죽이니라. And when the Syrians of Damascus came to succour Hadadezer king of Zobah, David slew of the Syrians two and twenty thousand men. | |||
| ☞삼하8:6 | 그 후 다윗이 다마스커스의 시리아에 거점들을 두니, 시리아인들이 다윗에게 종이 되어 예물을 바치더라. 주께서 다윗이 가는 곳마다 그를 보호하시더라. Then David put garrisons in Syria of Damascus： and the Syrians became servants to David, and brought gifts. And the LORD preserved David whithersoever he went. | |||
| ☞삼하8:7 | 다윗이 하닷에셀의 신하가 가진 금 방패들을 빼앗아 예루살렘으로 가져왔으며 And David took the shields of gold that were on the servants of Hadadezer, and brought them to Jerusalem. | |||
| ☞삼하8:8 | 하닷에셀의 성읍들 베타와 베로대에서 심히 많은 놋을 빼앗으니라. And from Betah, and from Berothai, cities of Hadadezer, king David took exceeding much brass. | |||
| ☞삼하8:9 | 하맛 왕 토이는 다윗이 하닷에셀의 모든 군대를 쳐부수었다 함을 들은지라, When Toi king of Hamath heard that David had smitten all the host of Hadadezer, | |||
| ☞삼하8:10 | 토이가 그의 아들 요람을 다윗왕에게 보내어 그를 문안하고 축복하게 하였으니, 이는 그가 하닷에셀과 싸워 그를 쳐부수었음이라. (이는 하닷에셀이 토이와 전쟁을 하였음이라.) 요람이 은그릇들과 금그릇들과 놋그릇들을 가지고 오더라. Then Toi sent Joram his son unto king David, to salute him, and to bless him, because he had fought against Hadadezer, and smitten him： for Hadadezer had wars with Toi. And Joram brought with him vessels of silver, and vessels of gold, and vessels of brass： | |||
| ☞삼하8:11 | 다윗왕이 이것들을 그가 항복시킨 모든 나라에서 헌납받은 은과 금과 더불어 주께 헌납하니 이것은 Which also king David did dedicate unto the LORD, with the silver and gold that he had dedicated of all nations which he subdued; | |||
| ☞삼하8:12 | 시리아와 모압과 암몬 자손들과 필리스티아인들과 아말렉과 소바 왕 르홉의 아들 하닷에셀에게서 약탈한 것이더라. Of Syria, and of Moab, and of the children of Ammon, and of the Philistines, and of Amalek, and of the spoil of Hadadezer, son of Rehob, king of Zobah. | |||
| ☞삼하8:13 | 다윗이 소금 골짜기에서 시리아인 일만 팔천 명을 치고 돌아와서 명성을 얻으니라. And David gat him a name when he returned from smiting of the Syrians in the valley of salt, being eighteen thousand men. | |||
| ☞삼하8:14 | 다윗이 에돔에 거점들을 둔지라, 그가 에돔 전역에 거점들을 두니 에돔의 모든 사람이 다윗의 종이 되니라. 주께서 다윗이 가는 곳마다 그를 보호하시더라. And he put garrisons in Edom; throughout all Edom put he garrisons, and all they of Edom became David's servants. And the LORD preserved David whithersoever he went. | |||
| ☞삼하8:15 | 다윗이 온 이스라엘을 치리하였으니, 다윗이 온 백성에게 심판과 정의를 실행하더라. And David reigned over all Israel; and David executed judgment and justice unto all his people. | |||
| ☞삼하8:16 | 스루야의 아들 요압은 군대를 지휘하고, 아힐룻의 아들 여호사팟은 역사 기록자가 되고 And Joab the son of Zeruiah was over the host; and Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud was recorder; | |||
| ☞삼하8:17 | 아히툽의 아들 사독과 아비아달의 아들 아히멜렉은 제사장이 되고, 스라야는 서기관이 되고 And Zadok the son of Ahitub, and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar, were the priests; and Seraiah was the scribe; | |||
| ☞삼하8:18 | 여호야다의 아들 브나야는 크렛인들과 플렛인들을 다스리고, 다윗의 아들들은 최고 치리자가 되니라. And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over both the Cherethites and the Pelethites; and David's sons were chief rulers. | |||
