| ☞삼하4:1 | 사울의 아들은 아브넬이 헤브론에서 죽었다 함을 듣자 손에 기운이 빠졌으며, 온 이스라엘이 번민하더라. And when Saul's son heard that Abner was dead in Hebron, his hands were feeble, and all the Israelites were troubled. | |||
| ☞삼하4:2 | 사울의 아들에게 군대 대장 두 사람이 있었으니, 한 사람의 이름은 바아나요, 다른 한 사람의 이름은 레캅인데, 베냐민 자손에 속한 브에롯인 림몬의 아들들이더라. (이는 브에롯도 베냐민으로 여김이더라. And Saul's son had two men that were captains of bands： the name of the one was Baanah, and the name of the other Rechab, the sons of Rimmon a Beerothite, of the children of Benjamin： (for Beeroth also was reckoned to Benjamin. | |||
| ☞삼하4:3 | 브에롯인들이 깃타임으로 도망하여 오늘까지 그 곳에 우거하더라.) And the Beerothites fled to Gittaim, and were sojourners there until this day.) | |||
| ☞삼하4:4 | 사울의 아들 요나단에게 다리를 저는 한 아들이 있더라. 이스르엘에서 사울과 요나단의 소식이 왔을 때 그가 다섯 살이었는데, 그의 유모가 그를 업고 도망할 때 급히 도망하다가 그가 떨어져 절게 되었더라. 그의 이름은 므피보셋이더라. And Jonathan, Saul's son, had a son that was lame of his feet. He was five years old when the tidings came of Saul and Jonathan out of Jezreel, and his nurse took him up, and fled： and it came to pass, as she made haste to flee, that he fell, and became lame. And his name was Mephibosheth. | |||
| ☞삼하4:5 | 브에롯인 림몬의 아들들 레캅과 바아나가 가서 그 날의 햇볕이 따가울 무렵 이스보셋의 집에 이르니, 정오인데 그가 침상에 누워 있더라. And the sons of Rimmon the Beerothite, Rechab and Baanah, went, and came about the heat of the day to the house of Ishbosheth, who lay on a bed at noon. | |||
| ☞삼하4:6 | 그들이 밀을 가지러 온 체하고 집 안으로 들어와서 그의 다섯 번째 갈비뼈 아래를 찌르고, 레캅과 그의 아우 바아나는 도망하였더라. And they came thither into the midst of the house, as though they would have fetched wheat; and they smote him under the fifth rib： and Rechab and Baanah his brother escaped. | |||
| ☞삼하4:7 | 그들이 집에 들어갔을 때, 그가 그의 침실 침상에 누워 있는지라, 그들이 그를 쳐서 죽이고 목을 베어, 그의 머리를 가지고 밤새도록 평원을 가로질러 갔더라. For when they came into the house, he lay on his bed in his bedchamber, and they smote him, and slew him, and beheaded him, and took his head, and gat them away through the plain all night. | |||
| ☞삼하4:8 | 그들이 헤브론에 이르러 이스보셋의 머리를 다윗에게 가져가, 왕에게 말하기를 "왕의 생명을 찾은 왕의 원수 사울의 아들 이스보셋의 머리를 보소서. 주께서 오늘 사울과 그의 씨에게 내 주 왕의 원수를 갚으셨나이다." 하니라. And they brought the head of Ishbosheth unto David to Hebron, and said to the king, Behold the head of Ishbosheth the son of Saul thine enemy, which sought thy life; and the LORD hath avenged my lord the king this day of Saul, and of his seed. | |||
| ☞삼하4:9 | 그러자 다윗이 브에롯인 림몬의 아들들 레캅과 그의 아우 바아나에게 대답하여 말하기를 "모든 대적으로부터 내 혼을 구속해 주신 주의 살아 계심으로 맹세하노니 And David answered Rechab and Baanah his brother, the sons of Rimmon the Beerothite, and said unto them, As the LORD liveth, who hath redeemed my soul out of all adversity, | |||
| ☞삼하4:10 | 어떤 사람이 기쁜 소식을 가져왔다고 생각하고 내게 고하여 말하기를 '보소서, 사울이 죽었나이다.' 하기에, 자기가 전한 소식에 상을 받으리라고 생각한 그를 내가 잡아 시클락에서 죽였거늘 When one told me, saying, Behold, Saul is dead, thinking to have brought good tidings, I took hold of him, and slew him in Ziklag, who thought that I would have given him a reward for his tidings： | |||
| ☞삼하4:11 | 하물며 자기 집 침상에서 자고 있는 의로운 사람을 죽인 악인들에게는 얼마나 더하겠느냐? 내가 너희의 손에서 그의 피값을 요구하여 너희를 이 땅에서 없애지 아니하겠느냐?" 하고 How much more, when wicked men have slain a righteous person in his own house upon his bed? shall I not therefore now require his blood of your hand, and take you away from the earth? | |||
| ☞삼하4:12 | 다윗이 그의 청년들에게 명하니 그 청년들이 그들을 죽여 손과 발을 잘라서 헤브론 연못 위에 매달더라. 그러나 그들이 이스보셋의 머리는 취하여 헤브론에 있는 아브넬의 묘에 장사하더라. And David commanded his young men, and they slew them, and cut off their hands and their feet, and hanged them up over the pool in Hebron. But they took the head of Ishbosheth, and buried it in the sepulchre of Abner in Hebron. | |||
