☞눅15:1 그때 모든 세리와 죄인이 주의 말씀을 들으려고 주께 다가오니
Then drew near unto him all the publicans and sinners for to hear him.
☞눅15:2 바리새인들과 서기관들이 불평하여 말하기를 "이 사람은 죄인들을 영접하여 함께 음식을 먹는다."고 하더라.
And the Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying, This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them.
☞눅15:3 그러자 주께서는 그들에게 이런 비유를 말씀하시더라. 이르시기를
And he spake this parable unto them, saying,
☞눅15:4 "너희 가운데 누가 양 일백 마리를 가졌는데, 그 중 한 마리를 잃었다면 아흔 아홉 마리를 광야에 두고 그 잃어 버린 양을 찾을 때까지 찾아 다니지 아니하겠느냐?
What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?
☞눅15:5 그러다가 그가 그 양을 찾으면 자기 어깨에 메고 기뻐하며
And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing.
☞눅15:6 집에 돌아와서는 친구들과 이웃들을 함께 불러서 말하기를 '내가 잃어 버린 양을 찾았으니 나와 함께 기뻐하자.'고 하리라.
And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.
☞눅15:7 내가 너희에게 말하노니, 이와 같이 하늘에서는 회개할 필요가 없는 아흔 아홉 명의 의인들보다 회개하는 한 사람의 죄인을 더 기뻐하리라.
I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.
☞눅15:8 또 어떤 여인이 은 열 개를 가졌다가 한 개를 잃어 버리면 촛불을 켜서 찾을 때까지 집을 쓸고 샅샅이 찾지 아니하겠느냐?
Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it?
☞눅15:9 그리하여 그것을 찾으면 친구들과 이웃 사람들을 함께 불러 말하기를 '나와 함께 기뻐하자. 내가 잃어 버린 은 한 개를 찾았도다.'라고 하리라.
And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbours together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost.
☞눅15:10 내가 너희에게 말하노니, 이와 같이 죄인 하나가 회개하면 하나님의 천사들 앞에 기쁨이 있느니라."고 하시니라.
Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.
☞눅15:11 또 예수께서 말씀하시기를 "어떤 사람에게 두 아들이 있었는데
And he said, A certain man had two sons：
☞눅15:12 그 중 작은 아들이 아버지에게 말하기를 '아버지, 저에게 돌아올 재산의 몫을 주소서.'라고 하니, 그 아버지가 자기 살림을 그들에게 나누어 주었더라.
And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living.
☞눅15:13 얼마 후에 작은 아들이 모든 것을 모아가지고 먼 나라로 가서 그 곳에서 방탕하게 살면서 자기 재산을 낭비하더라.
And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.
☞눅15:14 그가 모든 것을 탕진한 후에 그 나라에 큰 기근이 들어 궁핍하게 되기 시작하니
And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want.
☞눅15:15 그가 나가서 그 나라 백성 중 한 사람에게 더부살이를 하게 되었더라. 그 주인이 그를 자기 농지로 보내어 돼지를 치게 한지라.
And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.
☞눅15:16 그가 돼지가 먹는 곡식 껍질로 배를 채우고자 하였으나, 그에게 주는 사람은 아무도 없더라.
And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat： and no man gave unto him.
☞눅15:17 그때 그가 자신을 돌아보고 말하기를 '내 아버지의 많은 품꾼들은 먹을 것이 풍족하고도 남는도다. 그런데 나는 굶어 죽어가는도다!
And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!
☞눅15:18 이제 내가 일어나서 내 아버지께로 가리라. 그리고 이렇게 말하리니 아버지여, 내가 하늘을 거역하여 아버지 앞에 죄를 지었나이다.
I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,
☞눅15:19 나는 더이상 아버지의 아들이라고 할 만한 자격이 없나이다. 나를 품꾼의 하나로 삼아 주소서 하리라.' 하고
And am no more worthy to be called thy son： make me as one of thy hired servants.
☞눅15:20 그가 일어나서 자기 아버지에게로 갔는데 그가 아직도 멀리 있을 때 아버지가 그를 보고 가엾게 여겨 달려가 목을 안고 입맞추더라.
And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.
☞눅15:21 그때 그 아들이 아버지에게 말하기를 '아버지여, 내가 하늘을 거역하여 아버지 앞에 죄를 지었나이다. 나는 더이상 아들이라고 할 만한 자격이 없나이다.'라고 하더라.
And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.
☞눅15:22 그러나 그 아버지가 자기 종들에게 말하기를 '가장 좋은 옷을 가져다가 그에게 입히고 손에 가락지를 끼우고 발에 신을 신겨라.
But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet：
☞눅15:23 그리고 살진 송아지를 이리로 끌어내어 잡아서 먹고 즐기자.
And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry：
☞눅15:24 이는 이 내 아들이 죽었다가 다시 살아났으며 또 잃어 버렸다가 찾았느니라.'고 하니 그들이 즐거워하더라.
For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.
☞눅15:25 그때 큰 아들은 들에 있었는데, 그가 집 가까이 왔을 때 노래와 춤추는 소리를 듣고
Now his elder son was in the field： and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard musick and dancing.
☞눅15:26 종 하나를 불러서 이것이 무슨 일인지 묻더라.
And he called one of the servants, and asked what these things meant.
☞눅15:27 종이 그에게 말하기를 '당신의 동생이 돌아와서 당신의 아버지께서 살진 송아지를 잡았나이다. 이는 아버지께서 무사하고 건강하게 돌아온 그를 환영하기 위해서니이다.'라고 하니
And he said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound.
☞눅15:28 그가 화가 나서 들어가기도 싫어하더라. 그러자 그의 아버지가 나가서 그에게 권하더라.
And he was angry, and would not go in： therefore came his father out, and intreated him.
☞눅15:29 그가 자기 아버지께 대답하여 말하기를 '보소서, 수 년 동안 내가 아버지를 섬기고 어느 때에도 명령을 거역하지 아니하였으나 내 친구들과 함께 즐기라고 나에게 염소 새끼 한 마리도 주시지 않았나이다.
And he answering said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment： and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends：
☞눅15:30 그러나 아버지의 살림을 창녀들과 더불어 탕진해 버린 그 아들이 돌아오자마자 그를 위해서는 살진 송아지를 잡아 주셨나이다.'라고 하자
But as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf.
☞눅15:31 아버지가 그 아들에게 말하기를 '아들아, 너는 항상 나와 함께 있고 또 내가 가진 모든 것이 네 것이지만
And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine.
☞눅15:32 너의 이 동생은 죽었다가 다시 살아났고 잃어 버렸다가 찾았기에 우리가 즐거워하고 기뻐하는 것이 당연하니라.'고 하더라."고 하시니라.
It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad： for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.
