☞마10:1 주께서 자기 열두 제자들을 부르시어 그들에게 더러운 영들을 쫓아내며 모든 병과 허약함을 치유하는 권세를 주시더라.
And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.
☞마10:2 그 열두 사도들의 이름은 이러하니, 즉 첫째, 베드로라 하는 시몬이요, 그의 형제 안드레이며, 세베대의 아들 야고보와 그의 형제 요한이요,
Now the names of the twelve apostles are these; The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother;
☞마10:3 빌립과 바돌로매, 도마와 세리 마태, 알패오의 아들 야고보와 다대오라는 별명을 가진 렙배오,
Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus;
☞마10:4 카나안인 시몬과 유다 이스카리옷이니, 그는 주를 배반한 자더라.
Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.
☞마10:5 예수께서 이 열둘을 보내시면서 그들에게 명령하여 말씀하시기를 "이방인들의 길로도 가지 말고, 또 사마리아인의 성읍에도 들어가지 말고
These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not：
☞마10:6 다만 이스라엘 집의 잃어버린 양에게로 가라.
But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
☞마10:7 가서 전할 때, '천국이 가까이 왔다.'고 말하고
And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.
☞마10:8 병든 자들을 고쳐 주고, 문둥병자들을 깨끗케 하며, 죽은 자들을 살리고, 마귀들을 내어 쫓으라. 너희가 값없이 받았으니 값없이 주어라.
Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils： freely ye have received, freely give.
☞마10:9 너희의 돈 주머니에 금이나 은이나 동전을 가지고 다니지 말라.
Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses,
☞마10:10 여행을 위하여 자루나 겉옷 두 벌이나 신이나 지팡이도 지니지 말라. 일꾼이 자기 몫의 음식을 받는 것은 당연하니라.
Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves： for the workman is worthy of his meat.
☞마10:11 어느 성읍이나 촌락에 들어가든지 거기에 적절한 사람이 있는가 알아보아 너희가 거기를 떠날 때까지 그 집에 머무르라.
And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, enquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go thence.
☞마10:12 그 집에 들어갈 때에 문안하라.
And when ye come into an house, salute it.
☞마10:13 만일 그 집이 합당하면 너희의 화평이 그 집 위에 내리게 하고, 만일 합당치 못하면 너희의 화평이 너희에게로 되돌아오게 하라.
And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it： but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you.
☞마10:14 아무도 너희를 영접하지 아니하거나 너희 말을 듣지도 아니하면 그 집이나 성읍에서 떠날 때 너희 발의 먼지를 떨어버리라.
And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.
☞마10:15 진실로 내가 너희에게 말하노니, 심판날에 소돔과 고모라 땅이 그 성읍보다 더 견디기 쉬우리라.
Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.
☞마10:16 보라, 내가 너희를 내보내는 것이 마치 양을 이리들 가운데로 보냄과 같도다. 그러므로 너희는 뱀처럼 지혜롭고 비둘기처럼 순수하라.
Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves： be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.
☞마10:17 그러나 사람들을 조심하라. 이는 그들이 너희를 공회에 넘겨 주겠고 또 그들의 회당에서 너희를 매질할 것임이라.
But beware of men： for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues;
☞마10:18 또 너희들이 나로 인하여 총독들과 왕들 앞에 불려가서 그들과 이방인들에게 증거하리라.
And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles.
☞마10:19 그러나 그들이 너희를 넘겨줄 때에, 어떻게 또는 무엇을 말할까 염려하지 말라. 그 시각에 너희에게 말할 바를 주시리라.
But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak： for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak.
☞마10:20 말을 하는 이는 너희가 아니라 너희 안에서 말씀하시는 너희 아버지의 영이시니라.
For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.
☞마10:21 또 형제가 형제를, 아비가 자식을 죽음에 내어주며, 자식들이 부모를 대적하고 일어나 부모를 죽게 하리라.
And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child： and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
☞마10:22 또 너희는 내 이름으로 인하여 모든 사람들로부터 미움을 받을 것이라. 그러나 끝까지 견디는 자는 구원을 받으리라.
And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake： but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.
☞마10:23 사람들이 이 성읍에서 너희를 박해하면 다른 성읍으로 피하라. 진실로 내가 너희에게 말하노니, 인자가 올 때까지 너희가 이스라엘의 성읍들을 다 다녀 보지 못하리라.
But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another： for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.
☞마10:24 제자가 그 선생보다, 종이 그 주인보다 높지 못하니라.
The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.
☞마10:25 제자가 자기의 선생같이 되고 종이 그 주인같이 되면 그것으로 충분하니라. 그들이 그 집 주인을 비엘세불이라 불렀다면 그 집 가족들에게는 얼마나 더 심하게 하겠느냐?
It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?
☞마10:26 그러므로 그들을 두려워 말라. 가리워진 것이 드러나지 않을 것이 없고 숨겨진 것이 알려지지 않을 것이 없느니라.
Fear them not therefore： for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.
☞마10:27 내가 너희에게 어두움 속에서 말하는 것을 너희는 빛 가운데서 말하고 너희가 귓속으로 듣는 것을 지붕 위에서 전파하라.
What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light： and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.
☞마10:28 또 너희는 몸은 죽일 수 있으나 혼은 죽이지 못하는 자들을 두려워하지 말고, 차라리 혼과 몸을 모두 지옥에서 멸하실 수 있는 그 분을 두려워하라.
And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul： but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
☞마10:29 참새 두 마리가 한 앗사리온에 팔리지 아니하느냐? 그러나 너희 아버지 없이는 그 중 한 마리도 땅에 떨어지지 아니하리라.
Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.
☞마10:30 그러나 너희의 머리털까지도 다 세어 두셨나니
But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
☞마10:31 그러므로 두려워하지 말라. 너희는 많은 참새보다 더 귀하니라.
Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.
☞마10:32 그러므로 누구든지 사람들 앞에서 나를 시인하면, 나도 하늘에 계신 나의 아버지 앞에서 그를 시인할 것이요
Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
☞마10:33 누구든지 사람들 앞에서 나를 부인하면, 나도 하늘에 계신 나의 아버지 앞에서 그를 부인하리라.
But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
☞마10:34 내가 세상에 화평을 주러 온 줄 생각하지 말라. 나는 화평을 주러 온 것이 아니라 칼을 주러 왔노라.
Think not that I am come to send peace on earth： I came not to send peace, but a sword.
☞마10:35 내가 온 것은 사람이 그 아버지와, 딸이 그 어머니와, 며느리가 그 시어머니와 서로 대적하게 하려 함이니라.
For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
☞마10:36 사람의 원수들은 그의 가족 중에 있으리라.
And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.
☞마10:37 아버지나 어머니를 나보다 더 사랑하는 사람은 나에게 합당치 아니하고, 아들이나 딸을 나보다 더 사랑하는 사람도 나에게 합당치 아니하며
He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me： and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
☞마10:38 또 자기 십자가를 지지 않고 나를 따르는 자도 나에게 합당치 아니하니라.
And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
☞마10:39 자기 생명을 찾는 사람은 잃을 것이요, 나로 인하여 자기 생명을 잃는 사람은 찾을 것이라.
He that findeth his life shall lose it： and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.
☞마10:40 너희를 영접하는 사람은 곧 나를 영접하는 것이며, 또 나를 영접하는 사람은 곧 나를 보내신 분을 영접하는 것이라.
He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.
☞마10:41 선지자의 이름으로 선지자를 영접하는 사람은 선지자의 상을 받을 것이요, 의인의 이름으로 의인을 영접하는 사람은 의인의 상을 받을 것이라.
He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward.
☞마10:42 또 누구든지 제자의 이름으로 이 작은 자들 중 하나에게 마실 냉수 한 그릇이라도 주는 사람은, 진실로 내가 너희에게 말하노니, 그는 결코 자기 상을 잃지 아니하리라." 하시더라.
And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.
