| ☞수1:1 | 그때 주의 종 모세가 죽은 후 주께서 모세의 종 눈의 아들 여호수아에게 일러 말씀하시기를 Now after the death of Moses the servant of the LORD it came to pass, that the LORD spake unto Joshua the son of Nun, Moses' minister, saying, | |||
| ☞수1:2 | "내 종 모세가 죽었으니 이제 너와 이 모든 백성은 일어나 이 요단을 건너 내가 그들, 즉 이스라엘 자손에게 주는 그 땅으로 가라. Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel. | |||
| ☞수1:3 | 내가 모세에게 말한 대로 너희의 발바닥으로 밟을 모든 곳은 내가 너희에게 준 것이라. Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses. | |||
| ☞수1:4 | 광야와 이 레바논에서부터 큰 강 유프라테스 강에 이르는 힛인의 온 땅과 해지는 편 큰 바다에 이르기까지 너희의 지경이 되리라. From the wilderness and this Lebanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your coast. | |||
| ☞수1:5 | 네 평생에 네 앞에 설 자가 아무도 없으리라. 내가 모세와 함께하였던 것과 같이 내가 너와도 함께하리니, 내가 너를 단념하지 아니하고 버리지 아니하리라. There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life： as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee： I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. | |||
| ☞수1:6 | 강건하고 담대하라. 이는 내가 이 백성에게 주기로 네 조상들에게 약속한 그 땅을 네가 그들에게 유업으로 나눠 줄 것임이라. Be strong and of a good courage： for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them. | |||
| ☞수1:7 | 너는 오직 강건하고 아주 담대하여 내 종 모세가 네게 명령한 모든 율법대로 지켜 행하고 오른편이나 왼편으로 치우치지 말라. 그리하면 네가 어디로 가든지 번성하리라. Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee： turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper withersoever thou goest. | |||
| ☞수1:8 | 이 율법책을 네 입에서 떠나지 않게 하고 주야로 그 안에 있는 것을 묵상하여 그 안에 기록된 모든 것대로 지켜 행하라. 그리하면 네가 너의 길을 번성하게 만들 것이고 네가 좋은 성공을 이루리라. This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein： for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. | |||
| ☞수1:9 | 내가 네게 명령하지 아니하였느냐? 강건하고 담대하라. 무서워 말고 낙심치 말라. 이는 주 네 하나님이 네가 어디로 가든지 너와 함께함이라." 하시니라. Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed： for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. | |||
| ☞수1:10 | 그러자 여호수아가 백성의 관원들에게 명령하여 말하기를 Then Joshua commanded the officers of the people, saying, | |||
| ☞수1:11 | "진중을 돌아다니며 백성들에게 명령하여 말하기를 '식량을 준비하라. 삼 일 안에 너희가 이 요단을 건너 주 너희 하나님께서 차지하라고 너희에게 주신 그 땅을 가서 차지할 것이라.' 하라." 하더라. Pass through the host, and command the people, saying, Prepare you victuals; for within three days ye shall pass over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land, which the LORD your God giveth you to possess it. | |||
| ☞수1:12 | 또 여호수아가 르우벤 지파와 갓 지파와 므낫세 반 지파에게 일러 말하기를 And to the Reubenites, and to the Gadites, and to half the tribe of Manasseh, spake Joshua, saying, | |||
| ☞수1:13 | "주의 종 모세가 너희에게 명령하여 말하기를 '주 너희 하나님께서 너희에게 안식을 주시고 이 땅을 너희에게 주셨다.'고 한 그 말을 기억하라. Remember the word which Moses the servant of the LORD commanded you, saying, The LORD your God hath given you rest, and hath given you this land. | |||
| ☞수1:14 | 너희 아내들과 자식들과 가축들은 모세가 요단 강 이편에다 너희에게 준 땅에 남겨 둘지니라. 그러나 너희는 무장한 너희 형제들과 용감한 모든 용사들보다 먼저 건너서 그들을 도우라. Your wives, your little ones, and your cattle, shall remain in the land which Moses gave you on this side Jordan; but ye shall pass before your brethren armed, all the mighty men of valour, and help them; | |||
| ☞수1:15 | 주께서 너희에게 주신 것같이 너희 형제들에게 안식을 주셔서 그들도 또한 주 너희 하나님께서 그들에게 주시는 땅을 차지하리니, 그때에 너희가 너희 소유의 땅에 돌아와서 주의 종 모세가 너희에게 준 해돋는 쪽 요단 이편을 차지할지니라." 하니라. Until the LORD have given your brethren rest, as he hath given you, and they also have possessed the land which the LORD your God giveth them： then ye shall return unto the land of your possession, and enjoy it, which Moses the LORD's servant gave you on this side Jordan toward the sunrising. | |||
| ☞수1:16 | 그들이 여호수아에게 대답하여 말하기를 "당신이 우리에게 명령하신 모든 것을 우리가 행하고 당신이 우리를 어디로 보내든지 우리가 가리이다. And they answered Joshua, saying, All that thou commandest us we will do, and whithersoever thou sendest us, we will go. | |||
| ☞수1:17 | 우리가 모든 일에 모세를 경청했던 대로 우리가 당신을 경청하겠으며 오직 주 당신의 하나님께서 모세와 함께하셨던 것같이 당신과 함께하시기를 원하나이다. According as we hearkened unto Moses in all things, so will we hearken unto thee： only the LORD thy God be with thee, as he was with Moses. | |||
| ☞수1:18 | 누구든지 당신의 명령을 거역하고 당신이 명령한 모든 일에 당신의 말을 경청하지 아니하면 그는 사형에 처하리니 오직 강건하시고 담대하소서." 하더라. Whosoever he be that doth rebel against thy commandment, and will not hearken unto thy words in all that thou commandest him, he shall be put to death： only be strong and of a good courage. | |||
