| ☞수14:1 | 이스라엘 자손이 카나안 땅에서 유업으로 받은 지역들은 이러하니 제사장 엘르아살과 눈의 아들 여호수아와 이스라엘 자손 지파의 족장들이 그들에게 유업으로 분배하였더라. And these are the countries which the children of Israel inherited in the land of Canaan, which Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel, distributed for inheritance to them. | |||
| ☞수14:2 | 주께서 모세의 손을 빌어 명하신 대로 그들의 유업을 제비뽑아 아홉 지파와 반 지파에게 주었더라. By lot was their inheritance, as the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses, for the nine tribes, and for the half tribe. | |||
| ☞수14:3 | 모세가 요단 저편에서 두 지파와 반 지파에게 유업을 주었으나 그들 가운데서 레위인에게는 아무 유업도 주지 아니하였더라. For Moses had given the inheritance of two tribes and an half tribe on the other side Jordan： but unto the Levites he gave none inheritance among them. | |||
| ☞수14:4 | 요셉의 자손은 두 지파 므낫세와 에프라임이었으니, 그러므로 그들이 그 땅에서 레위인들에게는 오직 거할 성읍들과 그들의 가축과 그들의 소유물들을 둘 들판 외에는 아무 몫도 주지 아니하였더라. For the children of Joseph were two tribes, Manasseh and Ephraim： therefore they gave no part unto the Levites in the land, save cities to dwell in, with their suburbs for their cattle and for their substance. | |||
| ☞수14:5 | 주께서 모세에게 명하신 대로 이스라엘 자손이 그렇게 행하여 그들이 땅을 나누었더라. As the LORD commanded Moses, so the children of Israel did, and they divided the land. | |||
| ☞수14:6 | 그때에 유다 자손이 길갈에 있는 여호수아에게 오니 크네스인 여푼네의 아들 칼렙이 그에게 말하기를 "당신은 주께서 하나님의 사람 모세에게 카데스바네아에서 나와 당신에 관하여 말씀하신 것을 아시나이다. Then the children of Judah came unto Joshua in Gilgal： and Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite said unto him, Thou knowest the thing that the LORD said unto Moses the man of God concerning me and thee in Kadeshbarnea. | |||
| ☞수14:7 | 내가 마흔 살이었는데 주의 종 모세가 카데스바네아로부터 그 땅을 탐지하라고 나를 보냈을 때 나는 내 마음 속에 있는 대로 그에게 보고하였나이다. Forty years old was I when Moses the servant of the LORD sent me from Kadeshbarnea to espy out the land; and I brought him word again as it was in mine heart. | |||
| ☞수14:8 | 그럼에도 불구하고 나와 함께 갔던 내 형제들은 백성의 마음을 녹였으나 나는 온전히 주 나의 하나님을 따랐나이다. Nevertheless my brethren that went up with me made the heart of the people melt： but I wholly followed the LORD my God. | |||
| ☞수14:9 | 모세가 그 날 맹세하여 말하기를 '네 발로 밟고 있는 그 땅은 반드시 너와 네 자손의 영원한 유업이 되리니 이는 네가 온전히 주 나의 하나님을 따랐음이라.' 하였나이다. And Moses sware on that day, saying, Surely the land whereon thy feet have trodden shall be thine inheritance, and thy children's for ever, because thou hast wholly followed the LORD my God. | |||
| ☞수14:10 | 이제 보소서, 주께서 이 말씀을 모세에게 말씀하신 이래로 이스라엘 자손이 광야에서 방황하던 동안, 주께서 말씀하신 대로 사십오 년 간을 나로 살게 하셨나이다. 이제 보소서, 오늘에 내가 팔십오 세니이다. And now, behold, the LORD hath kept me alive, as he said, these forty and five years, even since the LORD spake this word unto Moses, while the children of Israel wandered in the wilderness： and now, lo, I am this day fourscore and five years old. | |||
| ☞수14:11 | 나는 모세가 그 날 나를 보내었을 때처럼 오늘에도 여전히 강건하며 나의 힘이 그때처럼 지금도 강건하여 전쟁을 위하여 나가고 들어올 수 있나이다. As yet I am as strong this day as I was in the day that Moses sent me： as my strength was then, even so is my strength now, for war, both to go out, and to come in. | |||
| ☞수14:12 | 그러므로 이제 그 날에 주께서 말씀하신 이 산을 나에게 주소서. 거기에는 아낙인이 있고 그 성읍들은 크고 견고하다는 것을 당신도 그 날 들었거니와 만일 주께서 나와 함께 하신다면 주께서 내게 말씀하신 대로 내가 그들을 쫓아내리이다." 하였더니 Now therefore give me this mountain, whereof the LORD spake in that day; for thou heardest in that day how the Anakims were there, and that the cities were great and fenced： if so be the LORD will be with me, then I shall be able to drive them out, as the LORD said. | |||
| ☞수14:13 | 여호수아가 여푼네의 아들 칼렙을 축복하고 그에게 헤브론을 유업으로 주었더라. And Joshua blessed him, and gave unto Caleb the son of Jephunneh Hebron for an inheritance. | |||
| ☞수14:14 | 그러므로 헤브론이 오늘까지 크네스인 여푼네의 아들 칼렙의 유업이 되었으니 이는 그가 이스라엘 주 하나님을 온전히 따랐음이라. Hebron therefore became the inheritance of Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite unto this day, because that he wholly followed the LORD God of Israel. | |||
| ☞수14:15 | 헤브론의 이전 이름은 키럇아르바라. 아르바는 아낙인 가운데서 가장 위대한 사람이었더라. 그 땅에 전쟁이 그쳤더라. And the name of Hebron before was Kirjatharba; which Arba was a great man among the Anakims. And the land had rest from war. | |||
