| ☞삿14:1 | 삼손이 팀나에 내려가서 팀나에서 필리스티아인 딸들 가운데 한 여인을 보고 And Samson went down to Timnath, and saw a woman in Timnath of the daughters of the Philistines. | |||
| ☞삿14:2 | 올라와서 그의 아비와 어미에게 고하여 말하기를 "내가 팀나에서 필리스티아인의 딸들 가운데 한 여인을 보았사오니 이제 그녀를 내 아내로 삼게 하소서." 하니 And he came up, and told his father and his mother, and said, I have seen a woman in Timnath of the daughters of the Philistines： now therefore get her for me to wife. | |||
| ☞삿14:3 | 그의 아비와 어미가 그에게 말하기를 "네 형제들의 딸들 가운데나 내 온 백성 가운데 여자가 없어서 네가 가서 할례받지 아니한 필리스티아인 중에서 아내를 취하려 하느냐?" 하니, 삼손이 그의 아비에게 말하기를 "그녀가 나를 매우 기쁘게 하니 나를 위하여 그녀를 얻어 주소서." 하더라. Then his father and his mother said unto him, Is there never a woman among the daughters of thy brethren, or among all my people, that thou goest to take a wife of the uncircumcised Philistines? And Samson said unto his father, Get her for me; for she pleaseth me well. | |||
| ☞삿14:4 | 그러나 그의 아비와 어미는 그 일이 주께로부터 나온 것을 알지 못하였더라. 주께서 필리스티아인들을 칠 계기를 찾으셨으니 이는 그 당시 필리스티아인들이 이스라엘을 다스렸음이더라. But his father and his mother knew not that it was of the LORD, that he sought an occasion against the Philistines： for at that time the Philistines had dominion over Israel. | |||
| ☞삿14:5 | 그때에 삼손과 그의 아비와 어미가 팀나로 내려가서 팀나의 포도원에 이르렀는데, 보라, 젊은 사자 한 마리가 그를 향하여 으르렁거리더라. Then went Samson down, and his father and his mother, to Timnath, and came to the vineyards of Timnath： and, behold, a young lion roared against him. | |||
| ☞삿14:6 | 주의 영이 그에게 강하게 임하니 그의 손에 아무것도 가지지 아니하였으나 그가 그 사자를 새끼 염소 찢듯이 찢고 그가 행한 일을 그의 아비나 어미에게 말하지 아니하였더라. And the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and he rent him as he would have rent a kid, and he had nothing in his hand： but he told not his father or his mother what he had done. | |||
| ☞삿14:7 | 그가 내려가서 그 여자와 이야기하니 그녀가 삼손을 매우 기쁘게 하더라. And he went down, and talked with the woman; and she pleased Samson well. | |||
| ☞삿14:8 | 얼마 후에 그가 그녀를 취하려고 다시 가다가 그 사자의 시체를 보려고 옆 길로 들어섰더니, 보라, 그 사자의 시체에 벌떼와 꿀이 있는지라 And after a time he returned to take her, and he turned aside to see the carcase of the lion： and, behold, there was a swarm of bees and honey in the carcase of the lion. | |||
| ☞삿14:9 | 그가 손으로 그것을 집어 먹으면서 길을 가다 그의 아비와 어미에게 이르러 그들에게 주었더니 그들도 먹더라. 그러나 그 꿀을 사자의 시체에서 취한 것이라고는 그들에게 말하지 아니하였더라. And he took thereof in his hands, and went on eating, and came to his father and mother, and he gave them, and they did eat： but he told not them that he had taken the honey out of the carcase of the lion. | |||
| ☞삿14:10 | 그리하여 그의 아비가 그 여자에게 내려가고 삼손이 거기서 잔치를 베풀었으니 이는 젊은이들이 그렇게 행하는 것이 관습이었음이더라. So his father went down unto the woman： and Samson made there a feast; for so used the young men to do. | |||
| ☞삿14:11 | 사람들이 그를 보고 동료 삼십 명을 데려와서 그와 함께하니라. And it came to pass, when they saw him, that they brought thirty companions to be with him. | |||
| ☞삿14:12 | 삼손이 그들에게 말하기를 "내가 이제 너희들에게 한 수수께끼를 내리니 만일 잔치하는 칠 일 동안에 너희가 답을 찾아내어 내게 확실히 말해줄 수 있으면 내가 속옷 삼십 벌과 갈아 입을 옷 삼십 벌을 너희에게 주리라. And Samson said unto them, I will now put forth a riddle unto you： if ye can certainly declare it me within the seven days of the feast, and find it out, then I will give you thirty sheets and thirty change of garments： | |||
| ☞삿14:13 | 그러나 만일 너희가 그것을 내게 알려 주지 못하면 너희가 내게 삼십 벌의 속옷과 갈아 입을 옷 삼십 벌을 줄지니라." 하니, 그들이 그에게 말하기를 "네 수수께끼를 내라. 우리가 들으리라." 하더라. But if ye cannot declare it me, then shall ye give me thirty sheets and thirty change of garments. And they said unto him, Put forth thy riddle, that we may hear it. | |||
| ☞삿14:14 | 삼손이 그들에게 말하기를 "잡아먹는 자에게서 음식이 나오고, 강한 자에게서 단 것이 나왔도다." 하더라. 그러나 그들이 삼 일 동안에 그 수수께끼를 풀지 못하였더라. And he said unto them, Out of the eater came forth meat, and out of the strong came forth sweetness. And they could not in three days expound the riddle. | |||
| ☞삿14:15 | 일곱째 날이 되자 그들이 삼손의 아내에게 말하기를 "너는 네 남편을 꾀어 그로 우리에게 그 수수께끼를 알려 주게 하라. 그렇지 않으면 우리가 너와 네 아비의 집을 불사르리라. 우리가 가진 것을 취하려고 너희가 우리를 불렀더냐? 그렇지 아니하냐?" 하니 And it came to pass on the seventh day, that they said unto Samson's wife, Entice thy husband, that he may declare unto us the riddle, lest we burn thee and thy father's house with fire： have ye called us to take that we have? is it not so? | |||
| ☞삿14:16 | 삼손의 아내가 그의 앞에서 울며 말하기를 "당신이 나를 미워할 뿐 사랑하지 아니하는도다. 당신이 내 백성의 자손들에게 수수께끼를 내고 내게 그것을 이야기해 주지 아니하였도다." 하니 그가 그녀에게 말하기를 "보라, 내가 그것을 내 아버지나 내 어머니에게도 이야기하지 아니하였는데 내가 네게 이야기하겠느냐?" 하더라. And Samson's wife wept before him, and said, Thou dost but hate me, and lovest me not： thou hast put forth a riddle unto the children of my people, and hast not told it me. And he said unto her, Behold, I have not told it my father nor my mother, and shall I tell it thee? | |||
| ☞삿14:17 | 그들의 잔치가 계속되는 동안 그녀가 그의 앞에서 칠 일 동안을 울더라. 일곱째 날이 되자 그녀가 그를 몹시 괴롭힘으로 그가 그녀에게 이야기하니 그녀가 자기 백성의 자손들에게 수수께끼를 이야기하더라. And she wept before him the seven days, while their feast lasted： and it came to pass on the seventh day, that he told her, because she lay sore upon him： and she told the riddle to the children of her people. | |||
| ☞삿14:18 | 그 성읍의 사람들이 일곱째 날 해지기 전에 그에게 말하기를 "무엇이 꿀보다 달겠으며, 무엇이 사자보다 강하겠느냐?" 하니, 삼손이 그들에게 말하기를 "만일 너희가 내 암송아지로 밭을 갈지 아니하였더라면 내 수수께끼를 알아내지 못하였으리라." 하니라. And the men of the city said unto him on the seventh day before the sun went down, What is sweeter than honey? And what is stronger than a lion? and he said unto them, If ye had not plowed with my heifer, ye had not found out my riddle. | |||
| ☞삿14:19 | 주의 영이 그에게 임하니 그가 아스켈론으로 내려가서 그들 중 삼십 명을 죽이고 약탈해서 수수께기를 푼 그들에게 옷을 주었더라. 그가 화가 나서 자기 아비 집으로 올라갔더라. And the Spirit of the LORD came upon him, and he went down to Ashkelon, and slew thirty men of them, and took their spoil, and gave change of garments unto them which expounded the riddle. And his anger was kindled, and he went up to his father's house. | |||
| ☞삿14:20 | 삼손의 아내는 삼손의 친구였던 그의 동료에게 주어졌더라. But Samson's wife was given to his companion, whom he had used as his friend. | |||
