| ☞삿12:1 | 에프라임 사람들이 모여 북쪽으로 가서 입다에게 말하기를 "어찌하여 암몬 자손과 싸우려고 건너갈 때에 너와 함께 가도록 우리를 부르지 아니하였느냐? 우리가 네 집과 너를 불로 태우리라." 하니 And the men of Ephraim gathered themselves together, and went northward, and said unto Jephthah, Wherefore passedst thou over to fight against the children of Ammon, and didst not call us to go with thee? we will burn thine house upon thee with fire. | |||
| ☞삿12:2 | 입다가 그들에게 말하기를 "나와 내 백성이 암몬 자손과 크게 다투어 내가 너희를 불렀을 때에 너희가 나를 그들의 손에서 구해 내지 아니하였도다. And Jephthah said unto them, I and my people were at great strife with the children of Ammon; and when I called you, ye delivered me not out of their hands. | |||
| ☞삿12:3 | 너희가 나를 구해 내지 아니하는 것을 보고 내가 내 생명을 내 손에 걸고 암몬 자손을 치러 건너갔더니 주께서 그들을 내 손에 넘겨 주셨도다. 그런데 어찌하여 너희가 오늘 내게 와서 나와 싸우려 하느냐?" 하고 And when I saw that ye delivered me not, I put my life in my hands, and passed over against the children of Ammon, and the LORD delivered them into my hand： wherefore then are ye come up unto me this day, to fight against me? | |||
| ☞삿12:4 | 입다가 모든 길르앗 사람들을 모아서 에프라임인들과 싸웠더니 길르앗 사람들이 에프라임을 쳐부수었더라. 이는 그들이 말하기를 "너희 길르앗인은 에프라임에서 도망한 자들로서 에프라임인들과 므낫세인들 가운데 있다."고 하였음이라. Then Jephthah gathered together all the men of Gilead, and fought with Ephraim： and the men of Gilead smote Ephraim, because they said, Ye Gileadites are fugitives of Ephraim among the Ephraimites, and among the Manassites. | |||
| ☞삿12:5 | 길르앗인들이 에프라임인들보다 앞서 요단의 통로를 잡았더라. 그리하여 도피하던 그 에프라임인들이 말하기를 "건너가게 하라." 하면 길르앗 사람들이 그에게 말하기를 "네가 에프라임인이냐?" 하여 그가 "아니라."고 말하면 And the Gileadites took the passages of Jordan before the Ephraimites： and it was so, that when those Ephraimites which were escaped said, Let me go over; that the men of Gilead said unto him, Art thou an Ephraimite? If he said, Nay; | |||
| ☞삿12:6 | 그들이 그에게 말하기를 "'쉽볼렛'이라고 말해 보라." 하여 그가 그 말을 바르게 발음할 수 없음으로 "십볼렛"이라고 하면 그들이 그 사람을 붙잡아 요단의 통로에서 죽였으니 그때에 에프라임인들 사만 이천 명이 쓰러졌더라. Then said they unto him, Say now Shibboleth： and he said Sibboleth： for he could not frame to pronounce it right. Then they took him, and slew him at the passages of Jordan： and there fell at that time of the Ephraimites forty and two thousand. | |||
| ☞삿12:7 | 입다가 이스라엘을 육 년 간 재판하였고, 그 후 길르앗인 입다가 죽어 길르앗 성읍들 가운데 한 성읍에 장사되었더라. And Jephthah judged Israel six years. Then died Jephthah the Gileadite, and was buried in one of the cities of Gilead. | |||
| ☞삿12:8 | 그의 뒤에 베들레헴의 입산이 이스라엘을 재판하였더라. And after him Ibzan of Bethlehem judged Israel. | |||
| ☞삿12:9 | 그에게는 아들 삼십 명과 딸 삼십 명이 있었는데 딸들은 외국으로 보냈고 자기 아들들을 위하여 딸 삼십을 외국으로부터 데려 왔더라. 그가 이스라엘을 칠 년 간 재판하였으며 And he had thirty sons, and thirty daughters, whom he sent abroad, and took in thirty daughters from abroad for his sons. And he judged Israel seven years. | |||
| ☞삿12:10 | 입산이 죽어 베들레헴에 장사되었더라. Then died Ibzan, and was buried at Bethlehem. | |||
| ☞삿12:11 | 그의 뒤에 스불룬인 엘론이 이스라엘을 재판하였으니 그가 이스라엘을 십 년 간 재판하였더라. And after him Elon, a Zebulonite, judged Israel; and he judged Israel ten years. | |||
| ☞삿12:12 | 스불룬인 엘론이 죽어 스불룬 지방 아얄론에 장사되었더라. And Elon the Zebulonite died, and was buried in Aijalon in the country of Zebulun. | |||
| ☞삿12:13 | 그의 뒤에 피라돈인 힐렐의 아들 압돈이 이스라엘을 재판하였더라. And after him Abdon the son of Hillel, a Pirathonite, judged Israel. | |||
| ☞삿12:14 | 그에게는 아들 사십 명과 조카 삼십 명이 있어서 어린 나귀 칠십 마리를 탔더라. 그가 이스라엘을 팔 년 간 재판하였더라. And he had forty sons and thirty nephews, that rode on threescore and ten ass colts： and he judged Israel eight years. | |||
| ☞삿12:15 | 피라돈인 힐렐의 아들 압돈이 죽어 아멜렉인의 산지에 있는 에프라임의 땅 피라돈에 장사되었더라. And Abdon the son of Hillel the Pirathonite died, and was buried in Pirathon in the land of Ephraim, in the mount of the Amalekites. | |||
