| ☞고전8:1 | 우상들에게 바쳐진 것들에 관하여는 우리 모두에게 지식이 있음을 알거니와 지식은 교만하게 하지만 사랑은 덕을 세워 주느니라. Now as touching things offered unto idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth. | |||
| ☞고전8:2 | 만일 누구라도 무엇이든지 안다고 생각하면 그가 마땅히 알아야 할 것은 아직 아무것도 모르는 것이요 And if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know. | |||
| ☞고전8:3 | 만일 누구라도 하나님을 사랑한다면 그는 그 분께 알려진 사람이라. But if any man love God, the same is known of him. | |||
| ☞고전8:4 | 그러므로 우상들에게 바쳐진 제물을 먹는 일에 관하여 우리가 아는 것은, 우상들은 세상에서 아무것도 아니며, 하나님은 한 분 밖에 계시지 아니한다는 것이라. As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one. | |||
| ☞고전8:5 | 비록 하늘에나 땅에나 신들이라고 불리우는 (많은 신과 많은 p주p들이 있어도) For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,) | |||
| ☞고전8:6 | 우리에게는 오직 한 분 하나님, 아버지가 계시니, 만물이 그 분에게서 났고, 우리도 그 분 안에 있으며, 또 한 분 주 예수 그리스도가 계시니, 만물이 그 분을 통하여 있고 우리도 그 분을 통하여 있느니라. But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him. | |||
| ☞고전8:7 | 그러나 이 지식은 사람마다 있는 것이 아니기에 어떤 사람들은 우상에게 바쳐진 것으로 알고 지금까지 우상에 대한 양심을 가지고 먹으므로 그들의 약한 양심이 더러워졌느니라. Howbeit there is not in every man that knowledge： for some with conscience of the idol unto this hour eat it as a thing offered unto an idol; and their conscience being weak is defiled. | |||
| ☞고전8:8 | 그러나 음식은 우리를 하나님 앞에 내세우지 못하나니 우리가 먹는다고 해서 더 나아질 것도 없고, 먹지 아니한다고 해서 더 나빠질 것도 없느니라. But meat commendeth us not to God： for neither, if we eat, are we the better; neither, if we eat not, are we the worse. | |||
| ☞고전8:9 | 그런즉 너희의 이러한 자유가 어떻게 해서든지 약한 사람들에게 거치는 것이 되지 않도록 유의하라. But take heed lest by any means this liberty of your's become a stumblingblock to them that are weak. | |||
| ☞고전8:10 | 지식이 있는 네가 우상의 전에 앉아 먹는 것을 누가 보면, 약한 양심을 지닌 그가 우상들에게 바쳐진 것들을 먹는 데 담대해지지 아니하겠느냐? For if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at meat in the idol's temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols; | |||
| ☞고전8:11 | 그러면 네 지식으로 인하여 그 약한 형제를 망치게 되리니, 그를 위하여 그리스도께서 죽으셨느니라. And through thy knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died? | |||
| ☞고전8:12 | 그러므로 너희가 형제들에게 그렇게 죄를 짓고 또 그들의 약한 양심에 상처를 주는 것이 곧 그리스도께 죄를 짓는 것이니라. But when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ. | |||
| ☞고전8:13 | 따라서 음식이 내 형제를 실족시킨다면 나는 고기를 이 세상이 존재하는 한 먹지 아니하리니, 이는 내가 내 형제를 실족시키지 아니하려는 것이니라. Wherefore, if meat make my brother to offend, I will eat no flesh while the world standeth, lest I make my brother to offend. | |||
