| ☞고전4:1 | 그러므로 사람들이 우리를 그리스도의 일꾼이며 하나님의 신비들을 맡은 청지기로 여기게 하라. Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God. | |||
| ☞고전4:2 | 청지기에게 요청되는 것은 무엇보다도 신실한 사람으로 발견되는 것이라. Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful. | |||
| ☞고전4:3 | 그러나 너희에게서나 인간의 판단에 의해서 판단받는 것이 나에게는 아주 하찮은 일이라. 실로 나도 나 자신을 판단하지 아니하노라. But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man's judgment： yea, I judge not mine own self. | |||
| ☞고전4:4 | 내가 i자책할 것을i 아무것도 알지 못하나 이것으로 내가 의롭게 되는 것은 아니니라. 그러나 나를 판단하시는 분은 주시니라. For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified： but he that judgeth me is the Lord. | |||
| ☞고전4:5 | 그러므로 때가 이르기 전, 주께서 오시기까지는 아무것도 판단하지 말라. 주께서 어두움에 감추어진 것들에 빛을 비추시고 마음의 의도들을 나타내시리라. 그때서야 하나님께로부터 각 사람이 칭찬을 받으리라. Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts： and then shall every man have praise of God. | |||
| ☞고전4:6 | 형제들아, 내가 너희를 위하여 나 자신과 아폴로를 이런 사례에 적용시켰으니, 이는 너희가 기록된 것 이상으로 사람들에 대하여 생각지 아니함을 우리에게 배워 아무도 한 편을 들고 다른 편을 반대함으로써 교만하게 되는 일이 없게 하려는 것이라. And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another. | |||
| ☞고전4:7 | 누가 너를 구별시켰느냐? 네가 가지고 있는 것 중에 받지 않은 것이 무엇이냐? 이제 네가 받았다면 어찌하여 받지 않은 것처럼 자랑하느냐? For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it? | |||
| ☞고전4:8 | 이제 너희는 배부르고, 부유해졌으며, 우리 없이도 왕들처럼 통치하였으니, 내가 하나님께 바라는 것은 너희가 통치하게 되는 것이라. 우리 또한 너희와 더불어 통치하리로다. Now ye are full, now ye are rich, ye have reigned as kings without us： and I would to God ye did reign, that we also might reign with you. | |||
| ☞고전4:9 | 하나님께서 우리 사도들을 죽이기로 정해 놓은 자같이 맨 마지막에 두신 것으로 내가 생각하노니, 우리로 세상과 천사들과 사람들에게 구경거리가 되게 하셨음이라. For I think that God hath set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to death： for we are made a spectacle unto the world, and to angels, and to men. | |||
| ☞고전4:10 | 우리는 그리스도를 위하여 어리석은 자들이지만 너희는 그리스도 안에서 현명하도다. 우리는 약하지만 너희는 강하고, 너희는 존귀하나 우리는 비천하도다. We are fools for Christ's sake, but ye are wise in Christ; we are weak, but ye are strong; ye are honourable, but we are despised. | |||
| ☞고전4:11 | 지금 이 시간까지도 우리는 주리고, 목 마르며, 헐벗고, 매 맞으며, 정처가 없고 Even unto this present hour we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no certain dwellingplace; | |||
| ☞고전4:12 | 우리 손으로 일함으로써 수고하며, 욕을 먹으면 축복하고, 박해를 받아도 참으며 And labour, working with our own hands： being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer it： | |||
| ☞고전4:13 | 비방을 받으나 권면하고, 세상의 쓰레기같이 되며 지금까지 만물의 찌꺼기가 되었도다. Being defamed, we intreat： we are made as the filth of the world, and are the offscouring of all things unto this day. | |||
| ☞고전4:14 | 내가 이런 것을 쓰는 것은 너희를 부끄럽게 하려는 것이 아니요, 다만 나의 사랑하는 아들들같이 너희를 훈계하려는 것이라. I write not these things to shame you, but as my beloved sons I warn you. | |||
| ☞고전4:15 | 이는 너희가 그리스도 안에서 일만 명의 스승을 가졌을지라도 아비들은 많지 아니하니, 그리스도 예수 안에서 복음을 통하여 내가 너희를 낳았음이라. For though ye have ten thousand instructers in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers： for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel. | |||
| ☞고전4:16 | 그러므로 내가 너희에게 권고하노니, 너희는 나를 따르는 자들이 되라. Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me. | |||
| ☞고전4:17 | 이로 인하여 내가 디모데를 너희에게 보냈으니, 그는 나의 사랑하는 아들이며 주 안에서 신실한 자니라. 내가 각처 각 교회에서 가르친 대로 그리스도 안에 있는 나의 방도를 너희에게 생각나게 하리라. For this cause have I sent unto you Timotheus, who is my beloved son, and faithful in the Lord, who shall bring you into remembrance of my ways which be in Christ, as I teach every where in every church. | |||
| ☞고전4:18 | 어떤 사람들은 내가 마치 너희에게 가지 아니할 것같이 교만해져 있도다. Now some are puffed up, as though I would not come to you. | |||
| ☞고전4:19 | 그러나 주께서 원하시면 내가 너희에게 속히 가서 교만해 있는 자들의 언변이 아니라 능력을 알아 보리라. But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord will, and will know, not the speech of them which are puffed up, but the power. | |||
| ☞고전4:20 | 이는 하나님의 나라는 말에 있지 아니하고 능력에 있음이라. For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power. | |||
| ☞고전4:21 | 너희가 무엇을 원하느냐? 내가 매를 가지고 너희에게 나아가랴? 아니면 사랑과 온유의 영으로 나아가랴? What will ye? shall I come unto you with a rod, or in love, and in the spirit of meekness? | |||
