☞고전12:1 형제들아, 이제 나는 너희가 영적인 은사들에 관해 무지하기를 원치 아니하노라.
Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.
☞고전12:2 너희도 알거니와 너희가 이방인이었을 때는 말 못하는 우상들에게 이끌림을 받는 대로 끌려갔느니라.
Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led.
☞고전12:3 그러므로 내가 너희에게 알게 하노니, 하나님의 영으로 말하는 사람은 누구라도 예수는 저주 받았다고 말하지 아니하며, 또 성령에 의하지 아니하고는 누구라도 예수를 주라고 말할 수 없느니라.
Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed： and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.
☞고전12:4 다양한 은사들이 있으나 성령은 동일하며
Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
☞고전12:5 다양한 봉사들이 있으나 주는 동일하며
And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.
☞고전12:6 다양한 역사들이 있으나 모든 것 안에서 모든 것을 역사하시는 하나님은 동일하니라.
And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.
☞고전12:7 그러나 각 사람에게 성령의 나타나심을 주신 것은 유익을 위함이라.
But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
☞고전12:8 어떤 사람에게는 성령을 통하여 지혜의 말씀을 주시고 또 어떤 사람에게는 같은 성령을 따라 지식의 말씀을
For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
☞고전12:9 또 어떤 사람에게는 같은 성령으로 믿음을, 어떤 사람에게는 같은 성령으로 병 고치는 은사들을
To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;
☞고전12:10 또 어떤 사람에게는 능력 행함을, 어떤 사람에게는 예언함을, 어떤 사람에게는 영들을 분별함을, 또 어떤 사람에게는 여러 가지 방언들을 말함을, 어떤 사람에게는 방언들을 통역함을 주시느니라.
To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues：
☞고전12:11 그러나 이 모든 일은 한 분이신 같은 성령께서 역사하시어 그 분께서 원하시는 대로 각 사람에게 나누어 주시느니라.
But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.
☞고전12:12 몸은 하나인데 많은 지체가 있고, 한 몸에 지체는 많아도 모두 한 몸인 것처럼 그리스도께서도 그러하시니라.
For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body： so also is Christ.
☞고전12:13 유대인이나 이방인이나, 종이나 자유인이나 한 성령에 의하여 우리 모두가 한 몸 안으로 침례를 받았으며, 또 모두가 한 성령 안으로 마시게 되었느니라.
For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
☞고전12:14 몸은 한 지체가 아니라 여러 지체로 되어 있으니
For the body is not one member, but many.
☞고전12:15 만일 발이 말하기를 "나는 손이 아니므로 몸에 속하지 아니한다." 하여 그것이 몸에 속하지 않는 것이냐?
If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
☞고전12:16 또 만일 귀가 말하기를 "나는 눈이 아니므로 몸에 속하지 아니한다." 한다면, 이로 인하여 그것이 몸에 속하지 않는 것이냐?
And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
☞고전12:17 온 몸이 한 눈이라면 듣는 곳은 어디며, 온 몸이 듣는 곳이라면 냄새 맡는 곳은 어디겠느냐?
If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?
☞고전12:18 그러나 이제 하나님께서는 친히 원하시는 대로 지체들 각각을 몸 안에 두셨느니라.
But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.
☞고전12:19 만일 모두 다 한 지체이면 몸은 어디겠느냐?
And if they were all one member, where were the body?
☞고전12:20 그러나 이제 지체들은 많아도 한 몸이니라.
But now are they many members, yet but one body.
☞고전12:21 눈이 손에게 "나는 네가 필요없다." 하거나, 또 머리가 발에게 "나는 네가 필요없다."고 말할 수 없느니라.
And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee： nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.
☞고전12:22 뿐만 아니라 몸의 더 약하게 보이는 지체들이 오히려 더 요긴하고
Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary：
☞고전12:23 우리가 덜 귀히 여기는 몸의 지체들에게 보다 많은 존귀로 입혀 주며, 우리의 아름답지 못한 지체들은 더욱 아름다운 것을 얻으며
And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.
☞고전12:24 우리의 아름다운 지체들은 요구할 것이 없느니라. 오직 하나님께서는 그 몸을 고르게 하사 부족한 지체에게 더 많은 존귀를 주셨으니
For our comely parts have no need： but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked.
☞고전12:25 이는 몸 안에 분열이 없게 하실 뿐만 아니라 지체들이 서로에게 동일한 관심을 가지게 함이라.
That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.
☞고전12:26 만일 한 지체가 고통을 받으면 모든 지체가 그와 함께 고통을 받으며, 만일 한 지체가 영광을 얻으면 모든 지체가 함께 기뻐하느니라.
And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.
☞고전12:27 이제 너희는 그리스도의 몸이요, 개별적으로는 그 지체들이라.
Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
☞고전12:28 하나님께서 교회 안에 몇을 세우셨으니, 첫째는 사도요, 둘째는 선지자요, 셋째는 교사요, 그 다음은 능력 행함이요, 그 다음은 병 고치는 은사들이며, 돕는 것과 다스리는 것과 여러 가지 방언들이라.
And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.
☞고전12:29 다 사도이겠느냐? 다 선지자이겠느냐? 다 교사이겠느냐? 다 능력 행하는 자이겠느냐?
Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?
☞고전12:30 다 병 고치는 은사들을 가졌겠느냐? 다 방언들을 말하겠느냐? 다 통역하겠느냐?
Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?
☞고전12:31 오히려 너희는 최상의 은사들을 열망하라. 이제 내가 너희에게 더 좋은 길을 보여 주리라.
But covet earnestly the best gifts： and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.
