| ☞고전13:1 | 내가 사람들과 천사들의 방언들로 말한다 해도 사랑이 없으면 소리내는 놋이나 시끄러운 꽹과리가 되고 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. | |||
| ☞고전13:2 | 내가 예언의 은사가 있어 모든 신비와 모든 지식을 알고 또 산을 옮길 만한 모든 믿음이 있다 해도 사랑이 없으면 나는 아무것도 아니요 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. | |||
| ☞고전13:3 | 또 내가 내 모든 소유를 주어 가난한 사람을 구제하고 내 몸을 불사르게 내어 준다 해도 사랑이 없으면 내게 아무 유익이 없느니라. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. | |||
| ☞고전13:4 | 사랑은 오래 참고, 친절하며, 사랑은 시기하지 아니하고, 사랑은 자랑하지 아니하며, 교만하지 아니하고, Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, | |||
| ☞고전13:5 | 무례하게 행하지 아니하며, 자신의 유익을 추구하지 아니하고, 급히 성내지 아니하며, 악을 생각하지 아니하고, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; | |||
| ☞고전13:6 | 불의를 기뻐하지 아니하며, 진리를 기뻐하고, Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; | |||
| ☞고전13:7 | 모든 것을 참으며, 모든 것을 믿고, 모든 것을 바라며, 모든 것을 견뎌 내느니라. Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. | |||
| ☞고전13:8 | 사랑은 결코 시들지 아니하나 예언들이라도 끝이 올 것이요, 방언들이라도 그치게 될 것이며, 지식도 끝나게 되리라. Charity never faileth： but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. | |||
| ☞고전13:9 | 이는 우리가 부분적으로 알고 또 부분적으로 예언하지만 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. | |||
| ☞고전13:10 | 온전한 것이 오면 그때에는 부분적으로 하던 것이 끝날 것이기 때문이라. But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. | |||
| ☞고전13:11 | 내가 어린 아이였을 때는 어린 아이같이 말하고 어린 아이같이 이해하며, 어린 아이같이 생각하였으나, 어른이 되고 나서는 어린 아이의 일들을 버렸노라. When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child： but when I became a man, I put away childish things. | |||
| ☞고전13:12 | 지금은 우리가 유리를 통해 희미하게 보나 그때에는 얼굴과 얼굴을 마주볼 것이요, 지금은 내가 부분적으로 아나 그때에는 내가 알려진 것처럼 알게 되리라. For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face： now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. | |||
| ☞고전13:13 | 이제 믿음, 소망, 사랑 이 세 가지가 있으나 이 중에서 가장 위대한 것은 사랑이니라. And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity. | |||
